CanaDream RV - Halifax Reviews 

The use of the RV was amazing! We enjoyed all our time with Canadream and the great service team who answered all my questions. It was very empowering to have lunch or use the toilet ANYWHERE.

A few notes for the future: if providing cleaning supplies, the company should provide something beyond just crocs because that makes it really hard to clean the counter, sink, or toilet if required. Also, the screen for Apple CarPlay is really hard to see with the Supervan. That didn’t make driving a bit challenging. Other than that, everything is great.

We enjoyed a 24’ rv for 35 nights and found the entire experience to be seamless and this added to the overall enjoyment of our Newfoundland adventure! It was our first time to rent an rv and even though we own our own trailer we will definitely use Canadream again for long road trips outside of
our province. The booking process was flawless, there was always someone to answer our questions leading up to our vacation. We weren’t planning on the full liability free plan but the Halifax staff were able to provide key information to help us make a decision that suited us. The unit was almost new and in pristine condition. It was very comfortable. I would have liked some extra sheets and the option to rent a grill. The overall experience was very positive for us.

From the time I pre booked my Delux camper van with Elmsdale( Halifax) to the day I dropped it off it was a great experience and the Canadadream family was great...friendly , helpful and fun to deal with..it made my trip around Nova Scotia very comfortable and exciting:)

The team at the Halifax office was so helpful and friendly. They took the necessary time with all customers while making a comfortable space to wait our turn. The Deluxe Campervan was in perfect shape and well appointed. We felt taken care of from beginning to end.

Booking an rv is easy with Canadream. From experience we know their prices are competitive. This was our 3rd trip with them in 5 years. Although Rv’s are never old it is good to check everything thoroughly. The website of canadream is very extensive which also mean you sometimes overlook things like Northern Surcharge. So make sure you study every bit! Customerservice is quick amd friendly.

We hired the RV for 4-weeks of travel.
The RV was new, the Staff were knowledgeable & helpful. All documentation was clear and easy to follow.
Why not 5-stars? Started the trip with a 1/4 tank of gas! Felt “knickel & dimed” with all the extra charges and fee options.

Our motorhome was easy to use and no issues on the road. We had an absolute best time and this was our first motor home experience!
Staff were helpful and lovely.

The pick up was quite efficient. The RV was properly provisioned and very clean. It was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable trip.

Our fifth booking with Canadream, so they must be doing it right for us. We booked online, but optimized our booking via email.
The pickup and return processes were handled swiftly and pleasantly. The staff were pleasant an efficient and gave us belief that they were really concerned that we should be able to make the most of our journey.

The SVC is just the right size for us: the slide-out bedding area gives a large comfortable bed without having to climb up into the overcab or climb over each other.

It's good to be able to complete the safety video in advance, as we like to be on the road as soon as we can.

Very nice staff. This time we were helped by Kathleen in Hallifax she was very helpful and sweet.

Vehicle was in good shape and we didn’t experience any issues. It was our first RV experience so nothing to compare with but the driving was easy and parking and hook up very straightforward. The staff were helpful and made the pickup and drop off very simple. Bed was comfortable but a challenge for a tall person to climb in and out over my partner. The canopy was permanently disabled due to a corporate policy decision which was unfortunate as we could have used it. Also missed having access to a bbq so no fancy meals. For a first time 10 day experience I would consider Canadream again.

Everything was clear and explained well through the whole process. Except for clarity on the awning. There was no communication on the awning being disabled during the booking and subsequent correspondence. We only saw that detail after picking up the RV and on the road.
I understand why CanaDream has this policy.
If this was clearly laid out during the booking and follow ups or even during the vehicle pickup process we would have taken a canopy with us

Perfect introduction and overall explanation of the RV. Super friendly, useful recommendations and everything in time, but still relaxed and not in a hurry. It was a totally good experience!

Friendly & professional staff at pick up & drop-off. We loved the motorhome which was almost new (5000km)
Loved the slide-out which converted the m/h into a "Tardis"! It would be good if the kitchen kit was more generous with crockery as only 2 of each item. Had to buy a mug as one broke. The usb points were great for charging when not hooked up, fridge & freezer were excellent. Confortable big bed. Reversing camera was useless but then we always used a spotter behind. Lots of storage space. V useful being able to rent leveling blocks as previously we had to buy them & give them away after.
We would definitely use them again if in Canada.

Just remember, you got a free coffee maker, as the supplied one was not working so we bought one.

Great service for the location and explanation of the truck camper ! Truck camper had some small issues but nothing bad. It was 3 years old but feel like more 6-7. The only thing I didn’t like it was always the extra fees. Extra fees to pickup the camper depending on the hour and the same for return and 160$ for replace the fridge handle that broke down when travelling. But Halifax office have good people working there. Will recommend Canadream but check all the details before. For Newfoundland, it was an extra 750$, wish we seen before.

We did loved it, I had some issue, had the assurance, everything looks fine 👍
