Gordon fitted fire doors, a stair rail and replaced a fire retardant gas meter cupboard for our rental property. He is professional, his work is very good quality and came in on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and we've asked him to do some work on our own property based on the workmanship we've seen.

Gordon is experienced and skilled and I will be keeping his business card very safe for the future.

Gordon has sorted out many problems for me over the years: opening locks I’ve lost the keys to; rehanging a door when the (inadequate) hinges collapsed; even freeing a friend’s teenage daughter when she got trapped in her room after the ancient doorknob became stuck.
No problem is too small (a frequent boast of many businesses, but true in this case); and his pricing is fair and reasonable.

His quote to fit to size my new front door and install the door furniture was clearly itemised, and he was happy to answer my many questions and provide advice. Gordon has done a couple of small jobs for us-fitting new locks on the front and then the back door. Both times he responded very quickly to our plea for help, turned up exactly when he said he would, and just got on with the job without any fuss. It was exactly what we wanted and we were very pleased with the results.

Gordon was recommended to me by a local tradesperson as I needed a couple of doors trimmed after having new flooring fitted. After I contacted him Gordon got back to me promptly and it was easy to arrange a time to get the work done, so good communication. He was punctual, arriving at the agreed time and was very friendly and positive and quickly got on with the job which he did to a very professional standard whilst being mindful to keep things tidy. I was extremely satisfied with the work Gordon did for me and would happily recommend to him.

Gordon has looked after my sea-facing flat for a number of years, helping out with a variety of maintenance projects from sorting out locks to replacing a balcony door.
