Aggressive Driver
An employee at this company deliberately drove his van into the side of my car in an act of aggression. Neither myself, nor the police have been able to get a response from the company. They are wilfully ignorant and obviously condone and support poor behaviour from their drivers! Avoid this company however possible!!
CBRE Valuations
CBRE Valuations - Absolutely hopeless. I went with CBRE as I though they are reputable but their valuation team just tick boxes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. They may be reasonably priced but you will get an extremely underquoted valuation which a 10 year old can write. BE CAREFUL.

Actually the most horrendous experience with a rental company I've ever experienced. Every single person that I had to interact with at CBRE would schedule things and not show up or tell blatant lies to try to manipulate you. They are extremely bad at working efficiently and nobody seems capable of getting things done on time. I had to send the different documents over nearly 4 times because they kept asking for more criteria. Moving the goal post to try to get a different outcome from you. Not the place to rent from please stay away.

They caused huge delay (6 months)for our property be be visible to potential buyers, which ended up 50% loss of value of our site. Terrible management and lacking of responses!
THEY STOLE MY HOLDING DEPOSIT
They stole my holding deposit only because i didn’t want to use open banking which is completely my choice whether i would like to use it or not. Although had choices of using open banking or uploading documents my reference was failed. Real estate agent told me that “we can’t refund your deposit back because landlord spent for the repairs of the flat” which doesn’t make sense as he spent for his flat,not for me. Legally they have to refund my deposit when referencing is failed they didn’t refund my deposit. Stay away!
Possible illegal acts
CBRE removed my wife and me from the Pacific Shores Club because of my being handicapped and consequently requiring special assistance to enter the lap pool area.
For 11 years we were members and following a back surgery and my need of some minor special assistance to enter pool area not lap pool itself we were removed from the clubs membership.
The staff except for the manager, Guisseppe Sacco,had made mild accommodations over a period time until Mr Sacco determined that we were no longer candidates for membership due to:
1 not having a boat in the Westpoint Harbor
2 not having an office in the Google Seaport office park
Mr Sacco became agitated at my request to be allowed for my being dropped off by the front entrance during the time of the daily food truck visit.
Upon becoming agitated he found reasons to remove us from the membership.
There also appears to be an element of age involved as we are seniors.
Google the majority owner of the business park would not respond to a person specific LinkedIn request for Handicapped Assistance in this matter.
CBRE was very defensive when their leasing mgr,Brian Beswick, was asked pointedly for the phone number of the Property Manager in charge of the Pacific Shores Club.
Ultimately the Property Manager,Shirley Wilson, returned a call immediately prior to our membership termination with what appeared to be a thinly veiled attempt to assure me that the termination of our membership had NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE OR INFIRMITY rather that the rules have changed and we are out.
CBRE IS THE LEAST COOPERATIVE,MOST BIAS ORGANIZATION THAT I HAVE EVER ...
PUTTING IT BLUNTLY...BEEN SCREWED BY.
Incidentally I am a land developer and I will never speak with CBRE or one of their agents again on any level or any location nor do I believe should anyone else.
Further I intend to file a DOJ . ADA Complaint.

CBRE is a horrible commercial loan brokerage. They make requirements up as they go, and honestly, I am not sure if it's to simply justify their massive employment or to irritate their clients off. I never deal with the same representative, so I can never get any real rapport going. All they do is insert themselves into your business whenever they get the itch. I will never get a loan through CBRE, or do any sort of business with this company ever again.

Well working for cbre at airbus surprisingly as a industrial cleaner the management haven't got a clue how to manage people the place is a joke Chris Lewis very incompetent hasn't got a clue any complaints is tit for tat spend most of his day in the smoke shelter with sue she is another to watch for as I applied to get into guidant for working at airbus and she put a stop to airbus taking any of cbre staff which is against the law I also banged my head when I was there I reported it and nothing was done bout it I now also have mental health problems since working for them which is another thing they dont care about I also done by back in on the big bins and was off for a time and they punished me with braford points i have left there and they think its ok not to pay me what i am owed which i will be taking legal advice about chris lewis doesn't reply to emails he is a joke there was someone getting bullied at work for nearly 12 months before something was done about it I would never ever work for this company again if you are thinking of getting a job with them please please don't bother it's not worth ruining your life over I also think they bribe the union rep as it seems like cbre always get what they want and not what the staff want also they had bailiffs on there case for not paying there bills so unprofessional its unreal why airbus keep them on site I will never know I do feel for my old colleagues who all deserve so much better the company also stopped giving christmas gifts when we wanted a pay rise they said if we give u a pay rise there will be no gifts at Christmas and no bbq on the summer shut down as they was pulling money from other pots which is bs as they spent loads of money on new machines so they are constantly lying all the time they don't care about you you are just a number one guy was working overtime at airbus and was drinking with russ Pritchard who should now better than to buy alcohol for one of our workers who was working at the time and also got paid cash in hand there was another guy who racially bullied a girl at work and also got caught peeing some where where he should of been got caught on camera but all this is exceptable to cbre as nothing was done about these people I could gone on all day like I say people please be aware of cbre and airbus by there sly ways of shafting people over thanks for taking time to read my review

Really inefficient and unhelpful. I am not surprised to see such bad reviews of this company. They have kept me waiting for over two weeks, constantly making out that I am some kind of criminal when asked for all my personal details. I was able to provide 6 months rent in advance and 2 guarantors, and they have rejected my offer. Now they are saying that they are keeping my holding deposit. I am sure they are playing landlord and tenant against each other. Landlord is obviously frustrated at the process taking over two weeks which is completely due to them and homeppl. 2 weeks of nothing but stress and anxiety created by CBRE

If you are considering a job with this company don't bother the form of bullying i encountered was the emotive manipulative type the worst type in my opinion.
I have read a few reviews about CBRE and can not believe how many are the same it's the worst FM company i've ever had the displeasure to work for; only lasted 6 weeks. They have a really crappy management system called SI tech cbre that's as much use as CBRE themselves.
Here, How many CBRE engineers does it take to change a light bulb, None, as they can never get PO number.
How their clients continue to use them just shows that they too must be bordering on the edge of insanity.
Crap company which needs to be put to death and quick, we need a hero, somebody to stand up to all these FM companies and bring about a U-turn to some of the old tried and tested ways of working not all this electronic crap.
Toxic environment - Bullying culture is encouraged
So CBRE on a whole as a company seem to be about as average as it gets as an employer, nothing too special.
However if you are unlucky enough to have applied for or work for CBRE within the Gateway in Leeds i would advise running in the opposite direction as fast as you can.
The working culture in the Gateway is a joke, sure most of the staff there are decent people but near enough all management within the Gateway are either clueless or on a power trip.
Rules and processes within the gateway seem to be Gateway specific and nothing to do with CBREs actual policies and procedures. Put in to place to benefit upper management and screw over the staff.
The whole place seems to be governed by one individual (Jayne Marshall) who will make your life hell if you were to challenge her on any issues or try to raise concerns that go against her agenda. There isn't much hybrid working happening at the Gateway despite what their job adverts say.
More of a focus on having an office that looks populated rather than the well-being of their staff. like to pretend that COVID and the past 3 years never happened.
Genuine issues and concerns are always covered up, HR is basically non existent and anything that is said isnt confidential.
Progression opportunities within the Gateway do not exist. Your progression is based on who you know or if your face fits. Nepotism is rife, there is one family of individuals who are all in lead positions and this seems to be hard locked again as they fit the agenda of the Gateway manager. Yet none of this is considered a conflict of interest?
The turn over rate especially on the helpdesk is ridiculous, not a matter of the work being challenging because it really isnt, its more related to the awful environment cultured by Gateway management.
Very very little support for people with underlying health conditions. If you are unwell id advise working for CBRE outside of the Gateway in Leeds otherwise you'll seen be in the crosshairs of the Gateway manager who will do everything she can to see you out of the door. Overall i couldnt recommend CBRE as a company i would just avoid the Gateway at all costs. One of the most worst places ive ever worked and the Gateway manager is one of the most disgusting people ive ever had the displeasure of meeting.
COUPA IS HORRIBLE
We are a small family business in the Boston area, and to get paid from CBRE, WE HAVE TO PAY $ 550.00 to join COUPA, why should we pay to do work for CBRE!!!!
