We took my in-laws just to look at the showroom to give them an idea of what type of conservatory they would like. The salesman approached them and offered to come and give them a quote which they did very quickly. They gave them a price and came to do the footings in good time. Then it all went down hill once they had a good chunk of the money from my in-laws. They promised start dates that kept changing even just not turning up on the day without any communication at all. My mother in law is in her 90s so you can imagine the stress it is causing her. My husband has been contacting them and been given excuse after excuse. We have now contacted citizens advice, action fraud and trading standards. She’s left with a slab of concrete in her lovely garden that she takes so much pride in and we are so concerned about the stress it is causing both her and my father in law. We are in touch with many other people who have suffered at the hands of this company. I would advise that you avoid them at all costs.

Like many of you, we were also taken in by the Celsius sales pitch.
In January 2024 we handed over £72k for a turnkey ground floor extension, kitchen renovation and patio. We were assured that Celsius would actively plan and project manage our build to a turn key finish. After completing foundations and building walls externally, we were told we would be water tight within 10 days. Their contract manager at the time told me that if we handed over the next payment of £36k slightly ahead of time, they would add the extra 2m projection of patio we had requested "free of charge". We handed over the money - they removed the back of our house, ripped out our kitchen and disappeared. Sound familiar?
I was ill with worry, I'd barely slept in weeks. Our house was a wreck, completely devalued and the second mortgage we had taken out was now in Celsius' bank account... sound familiar?
We eventually managed to get in contact with the owner, he blamed the contract manager, he said the CM had messed up lots of jobs and had now been demoted . He promised to get the build back on track. Sound familiar?
There was a flurry of work for a short while. Embarrassed tradesmen would turn up apologetically telling us that they didn't know what was going on, they only found out the night before that they were coming, they hadn't seen the plans, they didn't know who / if anyone was coming next, they couldn't get the materials because the boss hadn't ordered / paid for them, they were sorry they were leaving but they had to go to work on Frank's house. Sound familiar?
We felt a bit sorry for the team, they said the company owed them money too,
Every time we escalated, someone would be sent to our house without materials to measure up or dig a hole. One employee told us he had been sent by the office to "make it look like they had done something", he spent half a day drilling an unnecessary hole with the wrong drill bit. Most of the time they left saying the job wasn't ready for them yet, or that they would return with materials, but they rarely did. Sound familiar?
It wasn't the owner's fault .... it was the aluminium supplier, the contracts manager, the engineer, the architect, building control, the crane driver, the skip hire company, the plant hire company - delete as appropriate... sound familiar?
Don't worry though, your materials are in the yard / at the showroom / at my house / on another site... sound familiar?
At 30 weeks into a 16 week build, the delays were our fault. If we hadn't have brought the building inspector in, building control wouldn't have picked up all the issues and we would have been "on track".
When we said we wanted a refund for the work that wasn't complete, the owner said there wouldn't be a refund as there was "no money left in the job". Apparently having paid £108k and despite the fact that our house wasn't water tight, there were problems with the floor, leaking roof, no plastering, no flooring, no heating, no kitchen, no utility room, no second fix, no painting, no complete drains, no patio, no materials on site and a list of snags and other damage to other rooms in our home... the outstanding £12k would cover all that. Oh and by the way could we pay another £19k+vat for the "free of charge" 2m of patio.
At 35 weeks, the owner says he would have completed the job, its our fault for not letting him. Sound familiar?

It’s with some frustration and dismay…
It’s with some frustration and dismay that I feel I must warn against having any work completed from a company called Celsius home improvements based on Knowsley Industrial Park and also trade under Clearmetric Ltd - T/A.
An issue developed with an integral blind in a bi-fold door over 20 months ago and still within warranty. It has been 20 months of multiple phone calls to the company including the Company Director Frank followed by broken promises and excuses to assess the issue. When they finally did assess they then lost the measurements and the video they requested of the problem.
The last visit in October 2023 to measure again, chased up after Christmas promised the items were ordered … then informed this may not be the case ….and you guessed it a promise to call last week and no calls and this Monday and yesterday by end of business today.
That was six weeks ago and the day after I posted this message on Trust pilot I was contacted by Celsius and implored to take my comments of the sit and strongly promised I would be contacted quickly to arrange the repair work and this would be completed within four weeks. Three weeks went by and no contact from Celsius and when I called informed the person I dealt with was off and I asked for Director to call me by the end of the week and again sadly no response.
I got a response following submitted this concern on Google and Trust a Trader and agreed to take comments of site with the promise to have replacement fitted by the 08.03.24 and date not completed so called on 15.03.24 and agreed to have installed on 15th. Identified wrong colour blind and team contact me on the 18.04.24 and to replace one ordered and delivery.
As of the 15.11.24 I have had one contact with after sales team some four months from when Lee came out and advised replacement glass on order and awaiting delivery then nothing no updates, no return calls to text messages of the opinion replacements were just not ordered
It’s a shame that the customer service “if this can truly be called a customer service”, lets the company down because the initial job of fitting the doors was good with great installers .
Celsius Home Improvements and other company name as Clearmetric Ltd - T/A advertise they are one of the biggest home improvement company in Merseyside with over 20 years experience and ‘are the best’ if this is for very poor customer service, not returning calls, not keeping the customer updated then I would agree.
Now I HIGHLY recommend you stay away from them.

I implore anyone thinking of using this company , please DON ,T because they will make your life a living hell.
They are only interested in making money, and ripping people off. Not interested in standards of work or customer care, no morality or ethics, only their back pockets.
In my case, it has been over 9 months now, whereby i had a rear extension built to house a Disability Wet Room. which i cannot use, because ,it does not meet building regulations.
The quality of workmanship is atrocious, and very sub standard. These are not builders but bodgers.
They will lie, deliberately make excuse after excuse, , ignore any communications, are arrogant and treat customer with total contempt.

My last review got taken down for telling everyone exactly the truth . Not only is Frank deary robbing money off customers and threatening people I heard two customers had to actually get one of his drivers to go to a glass place and made the driver pay out of the drivers own money for glass that never turned up for weeks yet had been paid for to Frank by the customer I really can see things turning very very very nasty
FRAUDSTER BUILDERS - Left with no Kitchen, Window or Door

We entered into a contract with Celsius in January 2024 for building modifications and a new kitchen. This was for an agreed sum of £30k. Against out better judgement and ignoring every red flag, and without any substantive work having taken place, we had paid £27k of that sum through the lies, coercion and bullying from the Celsius organisation within the first month. As of 02/11/2024, (10 months later), the building works are still incomplete and we have no kitchen.
These last 10 months have been the worst of our life. We have been crowded in a small room with our 19month old son and I am now 7 months pregnant with no adequate means of preparing food. We have been frustrated, distraught, anxious and desperately unhappy with the fact that this company have stolen our money without impunity. The individuals we have dealt with appear to have no conscience, have no sense of decency and have zero moral compass.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF THIS COMPANY
In your worst nightmares you could not fear a worse experience than dealing with Frank Deary and his colleagues.
Avoid.
For over a year we experienced severe delays, lies, lack of communication, multiple instances of poor workmanship, and actual threats when payments were demanded that were either not due (according to the contract) or completely unjustified.
When attempting to contact via the method advised by Deary - sales@celsiushome .co .uk there has been no reply despite multiple attempts and the fact that the remedial work requested is urgent and leaves us with a danger of injury or worse. Either the mailbox is unstaffed or is, for whatever reason, being ignored.
In short the '10 Year Guarantee' so often quoted in their sales pitch (or when additional payments are being requested) does not appear to exist in reality.

I am a clinician working for the Network, and I want to express my serious concerns regarding Frank John Deary, the owner of Clearmetric Ltd. Our team is based at Langbank, which is the main hub for our network, and due to significant delays, we have been unable to meet with Dr. Murugesh, our Clinical Lead for all Care Homes in North Liverpool.
This delay is compromising the care of elderly patients in care homes, which is completely unacceptable. The inconsiderate behavior exhibited by Frank Deary has not only affected our team’s operations but also the well-being of vulnerable individuals who rely on our services.
I would rate this experience as that of a "cowboy builder." It is crucial for professionals in this field to prioritize care and communication, which has been severely lacking in this case.

Frank Deary where are you? These 1 star reviews are not wrong and I am but another customer they have stole from. They currently hold 13 THOUSAND pound of my money. Promised to start in August '24 only to find out that they hadn't even applied for planning permission back in March. I am now paying for a mortgage I don't need and had to seek legal advice to claim through court! Please stay away!!

We have been dealing with this company for several months he sold us a dream which is now our living nightmare we have no kitchen, no ceiling, no bathroom and basically living on a building site he took our money and ran and he won’t answer our calls or emails to find out when the work will get done
We are also aware he has lost his workforce and sold some of his vans so if your still trading Frank do the right thing and contact your customers and let them know when the work will get finished I think you owe us that

There should be an option for minus stars. This company has taken money from me for a deposit and materials that they had no intention of delivering on.
It has been 5 months, I have contacted the company by phone and email numerous times with either a promise to call me back (which never happened), or no answer at all.
Absolutely despicable, this isn’t a valid company.

Disgraceful company
We signed a contract last year for an extension on our home. We were told we would be without a kitchen for 4-6 weeks. We’re into 8 months without a kitchen, washing facilities, running water or drainage downstairs. This has been an absolute nightmare, we have 2 young children, one with special needs, and the toll it’s taking on our physical and mental health is immense. The build has been going on for 10 months, weeks go by without anyone being on site. The office are useless as they just say ‘I’ll put it in the group chat’ or ‘I’ll find out’ and then they don’t call back. I visited the office today but it was all locked up. Frank, the owner of the company has now started blocking my calls so we can’t get in touch with anyone from Celsius, and before anyone from Celsius responded to this review saying ‘please call the office’, don’t bother we know it’s all lies because no one replies to calls.

Warranty / 10 year guarantee not worth the paper it’s written on. Work was completed in 2017 no issues but I gather this company have gone down the pan since then. Have tried for 2 years to get Celsius out to carry out a repair. They just aren’t interested. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. I’m aware of a group of people who are having rather significant problems. Please avoid this company. Any responses from them on here are pointless as every call to the office is ignored

I’m an employee at the GP practice Langbank Medical Centre (Norris Green) which is currently under construction, and I can say without hesitation that dealing with this builder has been nothing short of a disaster. What was supposed to be a straightforward project has turned into an endless series of delays, mistakes, and utter incompetence.
The ongoing delays are not only frustrating for the owner (Dr. Murugesh Velayudham) and staff but are creating serious difficulties for our patients, who are being forced to deal with cramped temporary facilities and disrupted services. It's clear that the builder has no regard for the impact this shoddy and drawn-out construction is having on people’s health and well-being.
Unkept promises were made to our owner/employer (Dr. Murugesh) regarding deadlines and then... nothing happens. The lack of professionalism shown by the Celsius/clearmetric team (Frank Deary) is staggering. How hard is it to stick to a timeline and follow through with the commitments made?
As someone who works at Langbank every day, it’s beyond frustrating to see patients suffer because of this builder’s inability to get the job done. What should have been a smooth process has turned into a chaotic mess. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this Celsius/Clearmetric(Frank Deary) builder for any project to think twice or never go for it. If you want your project finished on time, and with even a modicum of competence, stay far away from this company. They’ve proven to be completely unreliable, and our patients and GP are the ones paying the price.

From constant Harassment and Bullying for money from Frank Deary and his team, now it is gone to NO RESPONSE (to emails, phone calls and text messages) after getting 90% of the money.
The reported significant delays in the project under took by Clearmetric Ltd/Frank are causing a major disruption to patient care at the LANGBANK MEDICAL CENTRE, Broad Lane, Liverpool. This is unacceptable, especially considering the vital role the medical centre plays in the community. The delays are causing stress and frustration for Doctors, Nurses and Other staffs, which can negatively impact their ability to provide quality care to patient.
Lack of communication from Frank is deeply unprofessional and demonstrates a complete disregard for the projects impact on the medical centre and its patients.
Furthermore, threatening behaviour when asked for a completion date is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the Medical centre business practices.
I paid because of the threatening call FROM Mr.Frank John Deary (Cleametric Ltd - T/A Celsius Home Improvement).
Completion date was on 8th July 2024 and till now only 40% work is done.
