Call centre staff were helpful

Call centre staff were helpful. But I was left chasing. This seemed to have been the fault of the contractor. But CET could have chased more . We had no heating and hot water for 4 days. The contactor had to order parts but they should have suppliers that have a better supply of parts.

Philip was very professional

Philip was very professional and knew exactly what was wrong with the boiler. He fixed what he could straight away and explained what was wrong with the boiler. He then ordered the parts and fixed the boiler in 2nd visit. Very happy with the service.

Plumber came out

Plumber came out, just looked up at ceiling, pipes visible as ceiling crashed down night before. he did not fix the leak as a family member had fixed the leak by buying part from screwfix. However for safety I needed a professional to check it. Plumber did not climb on a ladder or check pipes, he took photographs, in all, 5 mins in the property and advised he would pass his findings on. He made sure we had water running. Three stars are because he did not physically fix anything or touch pipes etc.. we thought he would climb on a ladder and take a closer look as a professional. He was polite.

All sockets and lights failed....

We had an emergency as all our sockets and lights failed this morning. I tried the trip switches but nothing worked. I called Direct Line Home Emergency, my insurance company, they sent an electrician out, he was here within an hour. After extensive testing the fault appears to be our shower. We are waiting for the manufacturer to come and check it. I also received a follow up call to check we are ok.
I cannot fault the service received, shame they couldn't fix the problem, I fear the next step will not be so positive!!
