As a freelance 3d artist, Cgtrader has been my no.1 platform for selling 3d models and meeting new clients.
Their commission is quite fair, compared to most of the other 3d platforms out there.
Their customer service is very responsive, and the platform provides an equal plain-field for every designer.

I am a long time customer so I am obsiously happy with the product. The models have favourable prices and you can find pretty much anthing on here. I have recently had an issue with one of the models, which was promptly resolved by customer service. I can only recommened the service.

In your response, you say you are ready to help, but in fact, you cannot help with anything. Your support team suggests not withdrawing the money and waiting, hoping that something might change. Great help, thanks.

As a seller the platform is great. But it happened a lot of time that the client has difficulty to Make a payment by the platform and they reached out me for the issue. I think it needs to be considered for the usability in the future.

I was facing an issue with my hyperwallet account and I was unable to access it. The support team was huge help and was replying to my mail even past midnight and genuinely helped me fix my issue. Huge respect to the support team

I've been with CGTrader for 5+ years. Got into 3d print modeling when I retired and CGTrader has been an excellent forum for selling my STL packages for radio controlled model ships. CGTrader provides tools and tips for improving your sales. Customer support is always there to provide assistance with difficult and uncivil customers.

Been using CGTrader as a client and author for more than 5 years. I can strongly recommend it if you are looking for a freelancer to custom model or animate things/subjects for your project or buy ready assets that fit in your budget needs.
The search function has been recently updated so one will get more relevant results.
For authors/designers a good thing is that payouts happen each Wednesday of the week which is nice in respect to monthy payout. And there is a whole set of buyer posted projects that one can apply to to generate some additional income instead of just passively selling assets.
If one wants to make a living out of it, there are also freelance projects posted by CGTrader themselves.
Lots of opportunities.

Over all the years i bought several 3D models and never had problems with them. For the first time i bought one, which didn't match the description and was unusable for me, so i asked for a refund. The support was fast and helpful and refunded me the money within two days. Problem solved and i'm a happy customer, who will buy furthermore stuff on CG Trader.
The only thing i have to complain, the web page is sometimes slow.

I have dealt with CG Trader on several of our projects and have always had a positive experience. When it came to dealing with any issues (they were few and far between) CG Trader provided great customer service. We have ongoing projects that will take years to complete and CG Trader is the place that we trust.
