I tried to pay an unexpected bill online (Amazon automatically billed this credit card for a video rental; I'll pay more attention next time.) I hate Chase Bank & only use the card for promotions. Any... See more

Outsourcing
Every since they outsourced I can't seem to get anything down with customer service. I can't understand most of the people who answer either. I've been with Chase for 16 years, but am thinking of changing banks due to this. So many Americans are out of work and they're outsourcing makes me angry too.
I've been with Chase over 25yrs
I've been with Chase over 25yrs . They made me wait over 10 days for a check that wss release and verified by the opposite bl days prior. This didn't sit well with me .. What was the point of calling to verify the amount of the check etc... if you wasn't gonna release partial or all of the funds.... Very disappointing!!!😡
Fraudulent Behavior Allowed by Chase on my Account
Chase has allowed a November 2025, transaction that was was cancelled because the purchased item from Auto Part Ocean in Worcester MA was sent damaged, to make an unauthorized charge on my credit card account three weeks later in December for the same damaged engine. This is FRAUD as i did not authorize any transaction in December with this company. There are two(2) confirmations for this one transaction.
Everyone knows Chase is horrible
Everyone knows Chase is horrible. Why does anyone bank there?
Chase outsources their Credit Card…
Chase outsources their Credit Card Disputes to the Philippines. I am have been a 20 year private client customer at Chase and paid my credit card balances off each month. I am leaving Chase as their Philippines Customer service is the WORST!
If I could rate them a 0
If I could rate them a 0, I would. I sold my home and the wire transfer was rejected. They have held onto it for several days and given us conflicting information every time we call. Nobody is helpful and I am changing banks for all my personal and professional accounts as soon as I move.
Been with Chase Bank for almost 20 years, and this happens...
Having been with Chase Bank on Fairless Dr, in Lorain, Ohio, (which was the closest branch to me), for almost 20 years... I went in to deposit a check on November, 13th, 2025, and the receipt showed it would be available on the 17th. Long story short... CHASE thought it was a fraudulent check (from a well-known gas and oil company). and froze my accounts. After about three weeks, they CLOSED all my accounts. I FINALLY got MY money from them after over two months, no apologies, no nothing. Ironically, the assistant branch manager, James, AND Daivd, the MANAGER here, are no longer there. Imagine that! I strongly advise you to pack up your things (your money) before they do the same to you, and PLEASE go to another bank!! Get out of Chase Bank...CLOSE them down. They can do ANYthing they want to you, and they do NOT care about you at all. This world we live in now is...extremely uncertain. I know nobody will take this advice, which is fine! I just don't want them freezing YOUR money, claiming fraudulent activity, with no proof, then closing your accounts, with NO thought of you. Think about what you could lose, if they did this to you... Do your homework, for another bank, GO to your local Chase branch, make a "one last time" withdrawal, and take your money elsewhere!!!
Been with chase for years and steadily…
Been with chase for years and steadily got a larger and larger credit limit as my credit improved. Now I get a message that because I dont use it all the time my credit is being cut in half if not more. I called to ask about this and basically got the answer of "cancel the account if you are not happy" so cancel I did! I can literally go anywhere and get credit! Dont need chase for anything! Goid riddance!

Chase Bank & Chase Visa suddenly charge a lot of fees for everything
Chase Bank and Chase Visa used to be pretty good. They’ve totally gone downhill. I’m a 20 year Customer who suddenly got my credit limit, cut in half and they wanted to charge me for things they did not previously. Now even though my credit score is 806 and I pay on time and Almost always in full . Guess they’re not making enough money off me anymore. They would ridiculously offered to increase my credit back when they made more money on me. Hopefully it backfires and they try that with the wrong group of people who never paid them back.
They noticed I changed most of my bank to another bank, which I of course did because better service less fees better rates. Instead of trying to offer better services themselves and better rates they went this route. No worries I’m sure my new bank will increase my limit so it doesn’t hurt my credit rating.

Dreadful service Unfortunately I was unable to give the zero stars !!
Very bad experience bank service I have…
Very bad experience bank service I have it with this bank. I recommend others people who live in uk residents and local people in uk don't use this bank. It,s so frustrating service I have ever had in my life. I don't even given a 1 star they don't deserved it. So much complicated bank system and frustrating service. Don't waste time with this bank to open the account. For good sake I advise all the people in uk don't even think about it to open the account with chase bank.
We noticed we were being charged for…
We noticed we were being charged for amazon music for over a year when we happened upon subscription link.
We called amazon and they could only refund one month and told us we can dispute the charges with our CC. We called chase and they would only refund/dispute 3 months worth of charges. The charge on our card did NOT say amazon music so we didnt know it was for amazon music. Chase couldn't have care less and would not dispute all the charges. Time to get any credit card.
Be AWARE
Chase Bank is in the business of deceit…
Chase Bank is in the business of deceit and hopefully the government will soon penalize this business decision designed to obtain and HOLD ONTO the CUSTOMERS money. External transfers, moving funds to ANOTHER bank, take over 10 business days (2 weeks) and that's if the transfer gets approved at all...and this is for an established customer of over 2 years. Deposits are HELD Indefinitely with no consistency for funds availability regardless of there posted policies. Finally if they decide to approve the transfer they literally call you and ask why you are moving the funds and what you intend to use the funds for...WTF? This is both illegal and beyond deception.
Failed Mortgage Application
I opened a mortgage application and asked the mortgage reps to get the processing done two weeks before the closing date to allow for delays and other miscalculations. In the meantime, I was advised by agents in the real estate industry that Chase often fails its customers in providing the expected mortgage loans. Chase procrastinated in processing the loan, then with a couple days before the closing, assured me the loan would be ready by closing date, and that all things needed from me had been provided them (check the tape recordings).. On the day of the closing, I was advised that underwriting had not approved the loan, and the loan would not be available. With $20,000 down and other substantial money invested in the home for improvements ($35,000), I had to persuade the home seller to provide extra time for me to obtain a loan from a different source. I nearly lost the home purchase and the money already committed on the home. Bottom line, Chase did not give a rat's ankle about the precarious position in which they left the buyer, nor did they honor the $5000 guarantee they said backed any loan application they stated would be successful.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible, ive been with chase for 6 plus years and this is the worse year banking with them. Money is pulling out of my account and into other accounts i owe without my notice. THe support team is unhelpful and most of them do not know what to say. Get bank of america instead.
Pointless inefficient company
Pointless inefficient company. I forgot when I applied for a card that I had put a freeze on a credit report. It should be a simple enough process to fix. I got the notice via email and then went ahead and unfroze the account. However, there's no way to notify Chase online (via a messaging/email system, there's no account portal set up for applications only). Instead, I had to get a letter in the mail telling me about this again (after being notified on email but with no further instructions). The only way to get the credit report pulled at all is to call. For some bizarre reason, this took talking to 4 people (before I gave up and hung up while on another long hold). The first person had to transfer me because 'technical errors' were preventing him from doing his 1 job. He verified my identity through multiple ways: SSN and text a code. Then of course the next person he transferred me to had to do the same thing, despite him talking to her first and explaining the situation. She said they would pull the credit report now, but for some unknown reason (I couldn't really understand her accent), I had to be transferred to another person as well. That other person again made me verify my ID via these multiple ways. She then told me my application was under review but that I'd again have to talk to another person for an unknown reason (not one I could understand either). That person repeated the same process and put me on a long hold to I guess talk to another person for who knows what reason?? I just gave up and hung up at the 15 minute mark, since presumably they were able to run my credit check again now and I had no clue what I was still doing on the phone. And even if they reject my application for whatever mystery reason I still needed to be on the phone and talk with so many different people, I don't care because a company who operates this way is not worth doing business with. I don't understand why a company would operate in such an inefficient manner where they employ 5 people to do the job of 0-1 people and waste so much resources - money on phone lines etc - though I bet they are all poor "independent contractors" who have to pay out of their own pocket for that - probably why chase doesn't care about being so inefficient and wasting customers' time in the process.
Funds available in days
On February 6, a little after 11 p.m., I deposited my paycheck with my phone as I always do. I received an email saying that the funds would be available on February 19. Most of my checks have been instantly accepted and deposited, and at most, I've probably had to wait 15 minutes before it was deposited. I was hoping the funds would be available the following day when I woke up, but there were no funds available. I decided to call customer service, and they told me that it would be available in 3 days. And she said there was nothing that could be done; all I had to do was wait. But bills don't wait, and I am now subjected to late fees based on their policies. For the past 2 years, I have been depositing my checks this way, and this is the first time I have encountered an issue like this. This is just unacceptable.
Just deposited in person my 8th check…
Just deposited in person my 8th check in my three-year-old checking account that has also had direct deposit in it before and like the seven checks before it they placed a 12 day hold on the check for all of the funds, not releasing a single dime of it.
STOP Banking with Chase. That was my final straw.
