W. Cooley is the best he's professional and knowledgeable about the product. Very understanding and listens to what the customer is really looking for. Ask all the right questions. He just made me feel that he wasn't in it for the money or to make a sale but really cared about my company. If I could get him away from Checkbooks I would hire him in a heartbeat. W. Cooley us the real definition of Great CustomervService.

I needed to pay 150 people for a large project. Charlie from Sales and John from Support made starting up and getting our people paid seamless. We were able to email everyone a secure link where they entered their own direct deposit info. We're very happy with how things turned out and so are our contractors.

Our company has had the pleasure of working with Checkbook for several years now, and we can confidently say that our partnership has been a huge success.
One of the most important aspects of any business partnership is having a shared vision. We have a clear understanding of our business goals and objectives, and we work together to achieve them. Communications with our payment partner are personal yet professional. The staff at Checkbook ensures that we are both on the same page and help make decisions based on what is best for our business.
Another key component of our partnership is our complementary skills. When a beneficiary has a payment dispute, we can rely on Checkbook to resolve the issue quickly and competently. This allows us to divide responsibilities based on our strengths and work together more efficiently. We have a clear understanding of each other's roles and responsibilities within the Fintech space. This ensures that we are both working towards the same goals and that there is no confusion or duplication of efforts.
Most importantly, our partnership is built on a foundation of trust and respect. We value each other's opinions and expertise, and we never make decisions without consulting each other first. We are also open and honest with each other, even when it comes to difficult conversations. This has created a sense of trust and mutual respect that has helped us navigate challenges and achieve success together.
Overall, our successful business partnership is the result of a shared vision, complementary skills, clear roles and responsibilities, and a foundation of trust and respect. I am grateful for my partnership and look forward to continuing to work together to achieve our business goals.

This has been a life saver. I love that you can choose to deposit on the card or add a bank account to it to send to. Once it is set up it is super easy to use.

They do not reply to chats. When and if they ever reply to your email they never answer the question. Pitiful customer service!

This is the worst company ever. They suspended my account in which I pay rent with and haven’t responded to me in a week. There is no way nobody is available to help for a whole week. This is ridiculous

I’ve been using this service for almost 3 years as a recipient and for almost two years as a sender for the company I work for. I haven’t had any issues. The only problems my customers have faced are user error: payment emails going to spam, entering information incorrectly, etc. The customer service has been excellent, too. It seems the majority of these bad reviews are surrounding one person's issue. Not really a fair look at the service as a whole.

My customer has paid me using these guys, I'm a contractor, on 4 occasions now. Each time it's taken longer for the money to be deposited toy bank account. The last time it took two weeks from date of check being sent. Was advised it was a "glitch" in the system they had to fix and hoped to have payment to me that day, then took 4 days to see it still. This time I was given a date of May 27 for funds to hit my account. I just looked to see that it has now been pushed back to June 1st now. Still waiting for the excuse as to why this is happening yet again. Tried calling the number given on the multiple other complaints here on this site and the phone rings and ends with an answering machine that doesn't even state that the number/line belongs to Checkbook IO. I'm about to contact a lawyer about this as these delays are keeping me from recouping money spent on material as well as labor from jobs completed.

Absolutely the worst company I've worked with in a long time. I used their services for payments of commissions earned by my subcontractors. Well apparently the funds went missing between Checkbook.io and my contractors account. They accept zero responsibility saying the account was hacked and account numbers were changed? Shouldn't they have security measures in place to prevent funds this large being taken? Read their fine print which they claim releases them from any liability of missing funds. Well who else would be at fault. I wish I knew this could happen before I used their service. I thought the funds would securely be delivered to the vendors I paid but now I am being told that they are most of the time but there are instances where it can be redirected. Apparently it doesn't happen often but I'm not the first case and I won't be the last.
