I have been using the Cheddar gift card cashback app daily and absolutely love it! Recently, I accidentally purchased a gift card with a different function than I intended. When I reached out to customer service, I was prepared for the worst since the vendor normally doesn't issue refunds.

To my surprise, Mustafa at the customer service team went beyond his means: He kept me posted with the process, liaised with the vendor, and ultimately managed to secure a refund for me, which I least expected!

I am really impressed with the care and follow-through Mustafa provided. Clearly, Cheddar believes in customer satisfaction and will take that extra step when necessary. The app is great, easy to use, and has become a part of my daily routine.

Thanks, Cheddar, but more so, thanks to Mustafa for what could've been a very frustrating situation into a positive experience. Highly recommended!

I use Cheddar a lot and it is really great!

A very useful, user friendly Cashback app. After your billing, the process of purchasing and activating the gift card is very simple and straight forward.
A few participating stores have minimum limit, rest all have good percentage of Cashback; which over a period of time adds up to a significant amount from our daily purchases.

Four different promo emails in 24 hours is excessive and frankly pretty rude. I would have been happy just unsubscribing and leaving it at that but the unsubscribe link doesn’t work in any of the emails so I’ll have to keep marking them as spam until my mail provider blocks them for me

The service from this team was outstanding! They worked efficiently, responded quickly, and paid attention to every detail. Awful customer service, don't respond and my requests don't display in an account.

Admittedly, I liked receiving the cash back on my card purchases, but when things go wrong customer services are poor to responding to your issues and concerns or even dealing with the problem.
I recently purchased a card for Asda for just over £176. It was declined at the till a number of times causing me huge embarrassment, with the cashier telling me that it was declined again and for all the queue behind me hearing all the conversation.
I had to use a credit card to pay for my shopping causing additional interest on my card in what I've been trying to clear!
I contacted Cheddar for support and up to now I'm still waiting for answers with £176 still sitting in my Cheddar wallet waiting for the problem to be resolved with no communication from their support team.
UPDATE: 25/09/2024
Customer support phoned me this morning to explain the issue fully.
The issue was with Asda and not Cheddar. I was offered a refund, but have since used the card successfully at Asda.
It meant such a lot in receiving a call from Cheddar and sorting the issue out.
My confidence has been restored!

Good customer support

Have made back so much money with cheddar, on my everyday spending and a little treat every now and again. It’s a huge help towards saving for Christmas and making that less stressful and costly.

I downloaded this app being skeptical about being paid to spend money.

However, over the period of about a year I earned over £60 on this app which i was able to withdraw and spend however I like.

I also has to update my name on my account which they made it super easy and simple to do.

It’s a great app, and it just runs in the background when you spend money.

Easy way to get cashback without doing anything except register your cards! Customer service was good too when I did not know how to remove an expired one. Was easy to sort once given instructions. Would recommend.

Great experience using Cheddar. I'm now in the habit of checking how much I can earn in cash back before paying at the till. I even combined my reward points for Costa and Sainsbury's the other day giving me an extra saving!
