Browsed and shopped a long time on City Lights website. It just doesn't match the excitement you feel when you go to their brick and mortar store! no they don't have the same selection, but they have some things that they don't have on their website, too. Aout a 2 hour drive for me, but it was well worth it. nothing beats being able to actually touch what you're going to buy and then take a right home with you. I plan on going back in the next few months.

I have ordered several collectible items (mostly Department 56 products) from City Lights and have just been super pleased with the availability of items and the swiftness of delivery. I have never had any problems and they are one of the first sites I check when I'm shopping in particular for Halloween and Christmas items. They carry a huge variety of brands and I sure like checking those out, too and have found some great items. It's an easy site to navigate, easy company to do business with, and I feel very secure and comfortable in any transactions. Had no difficulty with my transaction. The item I ordered was out of stock. I put down a 20% payment to hold my item & upon delivery the rest owed was billed to me. A smooth & easy purchase.

I placed an order from the Internet and received almost an immediate response. The Mark Roberts item I had ordered had not been released yet, which I knew, but I was kept in the loop until my order shipped. Will turn to City Lights, next time I need to order anything!

I discovered City Lights a few years ago and just love their variety of collectibles! I'm a Dept. 56 collector - Christmas and Halloween - and can't wait to view the "new stuff" updates that City Lights obligingly provides via email. Lately, I've become enamored with Jim Shore, and really loved it when City Lights sponsored a signing event last October. They keep up with trends and anticipate new interests, so they are my trusted source for these groupings. As a non-Californian, I also appreciate the free shipping/no tax service! Bravo, City Lights!

It is almost impossible to find any department 56 collectibles in nyc...I can always count on City Lights Collectibles come Holiday time to add to my husband's ever growing collection....They are reliable, fast and have a vast selection....

Last year, I received an item that was likely broken in transit. I did not realize the item was damaged until it was opened at Christmas. I reported the damaged item to City Lights, even though it had been a few weeks since I had received it. They promptly offered me a replacement item of my choice or the option of waiting for them to secure the same item, a retired piece. This is customer service & is why I am a loyal customer.

City Lights is the only store that has the most Dept. 56 for Dickens Village items that I have found in my search. I have received pieces from other sites but none at the best prices that I have found at City Lights. Not only that they have products in stock but the shipping is very fast and I have had no problem in receiving my orders correctly and packaged well. I love looking on their site and putting away items in my favorites. I have a village going in the winter and summer. It would be great if summer items were offered with more buildings and accessories. Other than more product for summer I have enjoyed making purchases at City Lights. Very pleased.

I was excited to find the Dept 56 Flatiron Building. I received it at a fair price, with free shipping. Item was exactly as described, and arrived perfectly. Will be ordering from you again.

Item was for Christmas. Problem with credit transaction. Was not notified to fix exception in a timely manner to receive before Christmas. Associate was rude and curt when I had to continue to investigate where my Christmas present was. Will not recommend, nor order from them again.

They do quality work for a fraction of the cost! My ornament was absolutely beautiful!

Ordered Halloween houses and accessories, and they arrived in perfect condition, all lit up properly and they are just fantastic. I cannot wait to put this village out, because Halloween is my favorite holiday and it takes me quite a while to put it all together. These additions to my village and carnival will be awesome!!!
