Thank you for your review Deborah, It is unfortunately common practice for recruiters to give little to no response to candidate applications for many reasons.
There are usually a small number of reasons why this happens , it can vary between relevant experience or professional FCA regulatory qualifications or work visas.
Unfortunately as most recruiters are more focussed on the corporate contract its self the candidates application is often overlooked.

We do not ignore our candidate appications regardless of status and we will always do our very best to help and advise where possible.

The company would not risk their reputation or the possibility of losing their contract.
This unfortunately was the case in your application in finance.

The financial industry requires professional devlopment that are separate to university degrees and academics.

As a company it is imperative that we do due diligence to ensure that the candidate has the correct skillset, qualifications and relevant experiences to be successful in the application.
