This company has gone completely down…
This company has gone completely down hill lately, used to find clearpay really helpful and great to use to build credit score but honestly do not waste your time. You get 0 communication when theres an issue and even when you complain you're waiting ages for a response. They take payments from your bank unauthorised even whilst telling you nothing will be taken. Will never use clearpay again, utter waste of time and the cause of soo much unnecessary stress.

Knowingly hosting scam websites. When I confronted them about the issue they denied any knowledge and told me I can get a refund directly through the seller even though all contact information for them is fake

**REFUSED TO SPEAK TO COMPLAINTS and they want you to contact them ok then LIES**This company is destroying me a refund claimed in late August is now late September they told me 3 weeks for it to be resolved it’s long gone that. In this time my credit has dropped from £2000 to £350 all I want to do is escape this vile company.
This company doesn’t go off credit reports it goes off there own and to have my balance cut 3 times in a month is outrageous luckily I don’t spend anywhere near my new £350 limit but it’s not fair to expect payments whilst a refund is being processed this is advice from the bank

Awful service! As every other review states they start ignorning emails when they know they're wrong or being challenged. I was told i would be refunded as soon as i gave them bank details and 2 weeks later i started asking when this refund would happen they ignored my emails

AVOID - THEY WILL PASS YOU TO DEBT COLLECTORS WITHOUT TELLING YOU THAT YOU OWE ANYTHING!
Extremely disappointed with Clearpay.
I was not notified that a £25.41 payment had been missed in April. I normally receive texts/emails about missed payments and have always dealt with Clearpay when needed. A further payment was successfully taken in May, yet I heard nothing about the outstanding April balance until September — FIVE MONTHS later. I believed my account was up to date.
I was then told my account had been passed to collections, with no warning or opportunity to resolve this directly.
Clearpay keep ignoring the fact I was not made aware until 5 months later that the payment had failed & I've been passed to debt collectors without my knowledge. They refuse to acknowledge that I was not informed. Their responses just repeat the same exact words.
I have used Clearpay multiple times and planned to continue using them. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be using Clearpay again.
The way they talk to you as a customer is absolutely inhumane, passive aggressive & patronising.
