Great service

My landlord used Clickinventories when I was moving out of my flat. He booked the check out but I dealt with them on the day as he is not London-based. On the day of the inventory inspection, the inventory clerk arrived on time and was courteous and approachable.

He had great attention to detail and examined examined every corner of the property, diligently noting the condition of fixtures, fittings, and furnishings.

The inventory report I received was a detailed document outlining the property's condition, including any existing damages or discrepancies. The report was comprehensive yet easy to understand, with clear descriptions and accompanying photographs for reference. This level of detail left no room for discussion, ensuring a fair and transparent process for myself and the landlord. As a result I was able to get my deposit back in full.

Extremely poor service for tenants

Extremely poor service for tenants. Weirdly this might be a good advert for landlords seeking to extort occupants but overall not a great look for the integrity of the company.

The check-in report produced had a number of inconsistencies that left us extremely exposed. Images shown an unclean property yet text cited a professional clean with no further work needed. They also cited all rubbish removed despite clear mounds of dirt on the floor.

Given our situation with the landlord (short let with hopes to extend), we took our own photos and submitted as a secondary report but did not query with Storm Inventories.

After moving out, and an extremely lengthy dispute case, we were given our deposit back in full and contacted Storm Inventories - they cited that we had initially had 14 days to contact them and that the landlord had been difficult with themselves also.

1) Sure, we can contact but I think a very fair expectation is a good job to be performed initially and follow ups not be required
2) If the landlord was difficult, so be it. This should not then result in the tenant being unfairly punished with an inaccurate report.

I asked for an investigation and they asked what I wanted doing with this given our situation was over. Put simply, we wish Storm Inventories to hold those who did this accountable and ensure tenants aren't left unjustly liable due to someone elses negligence / intentional work to appease a landlord.
