We recently used Clickstay to book a villa in Croatia for our summer holidays. Clickstay made booking and paying very easy. We could log on any time and check out our balance. We could also use it to contact the villa owner which made the whole process very easy. We have used a few other websites previously but this was one of the easiest to use.

We submitted a complaint to Clickstay against the property owners for a number of reasons including a listing not as described, owners/agent being rude and aggressive and an unjust theft of 250EUR from the security deposit. This was essentially ignored and the owners request granted for our deposit money. Do not expect any protection as a holidaymaker, they exist to serve the needs of their target market which is the Property owners themselves. I have submitted a factual review of our experiences on the Property page but I will be staggered if they publish it to protect the owners.

Have used Clickstay for the past two years to book a villa for family holiday. A very easy and straightforward website to navigate and the booking process is user friendly. Communication throughout the booking period was great. I would definitely recommend Clickstay.

Booking villa Avagarosa in the Algarve with Clickstay was straight forward and when contacted the owner responded promptly. The villa is accurately described, competitively priced, clean, spacious and well equipped. The courtyard area is great for Alfresco dining and the swimming pool superb - we spent hours in it as the weather was so hot! It’s just a few minutes stroll to the village centre which has a bar; snack bar; well stocked mini market; general store and couple of restaurants. If you don’t mind a 15 minute walk then a couple more restaurants can be reached - the set price lunch and dinner menu at ‘Restaurante Cozinha da Avó is very popular with locals and should you want to venture further afield independent transport is an obvious advantage and with the central location of Sesmarias, a choice of towns, beaches, restaurants and supermarkets are all within a ten minute drive. We had a lovely family holiday at Villa Avagarosa, thank the hosts and commend it. Would we return - yes of course.

On arrival at mirroflores penthouse apartment we found if was filthy,neighbouring apartment owners said it had not been used for months.We found poo in the toilet---33° so you can imagine the stench--broken and cracked toilet seat mended with sellotape,fridge and freezer covered in mold,advertised as having dishwasher and toaster but it didn't have them,bedding pillows dirty and yellow,windows filthy and many more issues.They sent cleaners in and they did a quick 2 hour clean but still loads of issues.Was told to buy what we needed and they would reimburse us so gave them a list and they said it was fine and go ahead and buy them,broom,dust pan and brush,pegs 2 coffee mugs tea towel and toaster,which we did and they never had the decently to pay so we was then nearly €50 out of pocket, absolutely disgusting.Complained nearly every day with no reply or compensation.Discusted we had to live in the apartment for over 3 weeks.We are 71 and 76yrs what should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a holiday from hell.No apology from clickstay,they take your money and then don't want to know if your satisfied.I have plenty of photos of the state of the penthouse.

Really good site to book accommodation through. Easy to use, great communication sent directly to homeowner, easy to make payments. Photos were a good representation of the property. A trustworthy site to use.

I recently booked a property through clickstay.com and I couldn't be happier with the service and experience. The property was exactly as advertised and the owner of the property was very well organised and polite to deal with. This stay was in the UK but I also like to book the flight and hotel separately when I travel abroad. So I'll definitely try to use clickstay.com where I can in the future.
