I decided to give CMC a go as the 90 day bonus rate was good but within a few weeks of the latest BofE interest rate cut CMC has finally reduced their rate, so in effect my rate is dropping now but in 90 days when the bonus rate goes the lower interest rate will push CMC down the interest table somewhat bearing in mind the cash ISA money is in QMMFs so the compensation scheme which covers £85k will not necessary cover the full amount, albeit QMMFs are fairly safe as safe can be. Having said this the app is good easy to navigate.

BoE reduce base rate by 25 basis points and yet CMC reduce rate by 64 basis points; time to move on when and if you think 3.95% on an ISA is good

I was recommended CMC for a joint investing account and everything seemed fine at first. The real problems started when we decided to withdraw our funds.

CMC have demanded endless documentation and, despite months of paperwork proving our identity, they are still holding our money. The latest issue? Apparently, our handwritten signatures “don’t match.” I’ve explained that we are not robots and that signatures naturally vary, but they continue to delay.

It feels like they are keeping our money ransom, and I now have to fight tooth and nail just to get back what is mine.

It takes a lot for me to write a review especially a negative one but based on my experience I wouldn’t touch this company with a ten-foot pole.

**UPDATE - They finally released funds. It was definitely a joint account so not sure why CMC said they don't offer them. Maybe they don't offer them now but they gave us one in the past.

Easy to set up Cash ISA using app. Transfer in from previous provider was straightforward and much quicker than I had expected.

Respond quickly to messaging. Money goes into the ISA quickly. Super speedy transfer in from cash ISA elsewhere. Surprised how quick they are to respond and seem very friendly. Great service so far. Haven’t tried taking any out yet hoping I can leave it to build. Thank you.

Transferred an existing ISA into CMC. Straightforward process and kept update throughout. No issues

I “ transferred in” from another company and the experience was most satisfactory. The whole thing was done within a week.
With regard to the App, I would like to see the daily monetary value of the interest paid in addition to the running total.

Quick transfer, some delays at delivering provider which was to be expected. Very happy with service.

Once my premium membership expired, I was taken aback to realize that the service would be costing me a total of £25 per month. Upon this realization, I promptly closed my account and transferred my investments elsewhere. Despite having requested the transfer of my pension investment to another provider 2 months ago, there has been no progress. They are quick to blame the other pension provider, CMC, who are holding onto my funds and charging premium account fees despite my request for closure. This unethical behavior is clearly not in line with FSA standards. I strongly advise avoiding this organization unless you have a penchant for giving away your money without receiving anything in return. To make matters worse, even after withdrawing all my other investments, my account is now showing a negative balance, which I suspect is an unjust charge for a premium account that should have been closed immediately upon request.
