Just had a gift from a partner company promo. Good coffee, but I’m not a fan of subscriptions. Jordan Thompson was lovely to talk to and helped me cancel.

Contacted the number on page as thought it was an “one off” purchase. However, I didn’t realise I had signed up to a subscriptions. Good customer service l, responded in a timely manner, really helpful & informative.
Expensive for old coffee, ground almost two months ago certainly not what I expected for such a high price. Would recommend almost anywhere else.
Also the fact you have to call to cancel is disgraceful. Unsurprisingly you can adjust the rest of your subscription online, but not cancel. Such a scummy tactic.
Also the rest of the reviews looks suspiciously positive.

Great coffee, had to cancel just for financial issues but delicious and loved it. Bit annoying I’ve had to call to cancel but relatively straight forward.

Scam! Signed up online for £2.95 trial and was a nightmare to cancel, had to eventually call them and keep refusing other offers. Coffee is poor quality too!
Look like a couple of fake positive reviews have been put on here too!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the coffee that was sent to me by Coffee52! I've tried many different types of coffee, and they have sent my favourites. Furthermore, the customer service is amazing. I spoke to a gentleman called Steven over the phone and he was a joy to speak to. He supported me with my queries and, when I sadly had to cancel, was very helpful and made it painless.
I would highly encourage you to subscribe if you enjoy coffee and can make the commitment!

Great customer service, I was trying to cancel and it was easy. Although you have to call in , instead of doing it directly on their website but the staff I talked to today was very nice ☺️

Irrelevant of any small print a company may use at point of sale, you shouldn't have to speak to someone to cancel your order (especially someone who questions your logic on price after you've literally just said "It doesn't taste better than my usual instant").
The attitude/tone of person soon changes when you're no longer interested which is fantastic customer service.
Money machine coffee company who's more interested in keeping you on the cash train than genuinely looking after and respecting their customers. Avoid.

Agree about the cancellation nightmare, but let’s talk about the coffee…
A 3/5 is a dark oily roast with none of the tasting notes promised. While the price is on the higher end roasters scale. So why all the big promises? Rather than catch people in a difficult to unsubscribe scenario, why not actually try and produce a product that matches the marketing and price?
Edit: my comment on tasting notes is that the roast seems to have obliterated any of them, leaving a dark ashtray taste. Not what you would expect from a medium roast Brazilian natural process coffee!

Signed up to the introductory offer from moneysupermarket.com- They made no mention of this being a subscription model.
Signed up to get 2 packets of beans for £2.95 postage.
Then saw the price so decided to cancel.
Then the fun starts.
Links to pages with no info, a barrage of " can we tempt you to stay" pages. The help page was unobtainable.
EVENTUALLY I get through to the cancellation page- yet more "how can we get you to stay?" offers and finally a page that says you have to cancel by phone!!!
No doubt to pressure you even more!!
When I phone to cancel I will be very clear in telling this company what I think of their shady methods.
Avoid them like the plague

Impossible to cancel.
Same experience as all of the _____52 products - easy to sign up, but all but impossible to cancel.
These shady practices are illegal nowadays, following the DMCC Act. If I can sign up online, I must be able to cancel online. You CANNOT force me to cancel by phone, and making me wait on hold for 20mins as part of the process.
Complaints will be made to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, and I would recommend that anyone else forced to go through this charade does exactly the same.
The coffee is awful as well - even the mass-produced stuff I get from Aldi tastes better!
