Awful - 6 weeks and still waiting. No reply to emails or calls - order 2689 if the company want verification

Horrendous. Compost never arrived within a month. Forget 3-5 days as promised on website.
Now another month and no refund.
Small claims court me thinks.

Appalling delivery service - really not worth the stress. Customer Service telephone number is unobtainable. Compost is good quality but we won't be buying again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Prompt delivery and excellent quality of compost. The delivery company they used were amazing and although they only offer a kerbside delivery the delivery guy was quite happy to negotiate our tarmac driveway and leave the pallet near our back gate into the garden. Would highly recommend

Having ordered Black Gold for two years running for my allotment I’m certainly seeing the benefits in the produce I grow. I’ll shortly be ordering more.

I placed an order on 7th March for delivery in 2 - 5 working days. It is now the 29th and still no sign of delivery. The phones are unanswered and flag up as 'Suspected Spam' and my emails are ignored. I am starting to suspect I have been scammed. If I don’t hear back today, I will have no choice but to contact Trading Standards.

Placed an order online. Their website says 3 - 5 days delivery. After waiting for two weeks I contacted the Company 5 times by email - no response, and then by phone. It took two days before someone called James actually answered the phone. He said we are short staffed and behind with the orders because of Covid (still using that old chestnut) so we wait until someone phones us to ask for an update on their order at which point we upgrade the delivery - at our cost - and so you should get your soil by next Wednesday. The Courier will contact you 24-48 hours to confirm day of delivery and then they will email you a 2 hour delivery slot the day before. It was 2.45pm on Thursday before I received an email to confirm delivery and at 3.15pm the Driver phoned me to say he was at my house and no one was in, so where did I want my soil dropping!! Would I use this Company again - definitely not!

Late delivery, hard to make contact. Compost unusable for growing microgreens - more like bark mulch than compost. Nothing like photo on website. Had asked twice to buy samples but received no response - guessing this is why. Asked to return but unable to get response. Don’t understand how this company is in business.

Ordered 4 bulk bags of Veggie Pro on 14th March which were delivered on 21st March (would have been 17th March but I asked for a few days delay). Product looks top quality and I've just ordered a further six bags for my new raised beds.

Ordered 4 weeks ago every day it was being delivered tomorrow they rarely answer phone or email, requested refund 8 days ago as it was never coming still not heard anything, getting in touch with Mastercard for a chargeback.
Baffles me how this company is still trading

Ordered a large bag of Black Gold compost over a month ago, with an advertised delivery of 3-5 days. Still no sign of anything and worse than that, no replies to my recent emails requesting delivery update and finally my request for a refund. Hard to imagine worse service ... AVOID!!

Ordered four weeks ago and still waiting for delivery. No reply to email. Time to cancel for refund. Avoid.

Placed an order with a turn around for 3-5 working days, which ended up being delayed as they confirmed over the phone.
A date was set for delivery and a time slot was provided but this time had come and gone, so I called the courier service who said they had not received anything.
Called back the company and said they will have to resend a new batch out, which would put me on to the 10 working days mark, which I didn't want to wait.

Cancelled for a full refund.

Excellent product, we have bought it several times over the years and will buy it again. The service was very good too. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have ordered from Compost direct and we have been exceptionally pleased with service and product. Have recommended them to a friend too who now uses them. Will continue to use too.

I first ordered Black Gold compost last spring having just moved into a house with a very neglected garden. The product looked good and the results in the garden this year have been excellent. Have just received a further bulk bag and the ordering and delivery process was faultless. Company and product highly recommended,

I have used Jubilee Compost with Great Btitsh Grit numerous times and am very impressed. In my opinion it is finest product for clay conditions, it improves drainage and creates terrific results. Delivery is prompt and the driver helpfully placed the bulk bags in a location of my choice. Great customer service.

Great product, brilliant customer service. Easy to order and quick delivery. This is my second order and will certainly be using this company again.

excellent service, excellent product, the proof of the product though will be next year when we see the results of what grows.
a little disappointed with courier as they did not let me know they were coming and i had to dash out and remove my a car to allow access through the side way.

Products are good and being used liberally!
Delivery though was shocking. Once we had the initial e-mail from Compost Direct, we never heard from the couriers unless we called them. Took several calls and contact via Compost Direct to get it delivered about 3 weeks after order confirmation.
