As an extension to our product range, we also supply a wide selection of Daily Living Aids, many of which are manufactured in the UK. The name Connevans is derived from its founders Connie and Meurig Evans who started the company in 1961. Today Connevans is run by their son David and granddaughter Laura. There are a number of other family connections within the company, such as a Mother & Daughter and a God-father & God-daughter and we have to mention the occasional 'office dogs' like Pixel & Tara! With Connevans it is not just business, it's family, just one of the many reasons why we pride ourselves on a very high level of customer service. We are delighted with the kind comments we receive on Trustpilot and if a member of our staff is mentioned by name, we always tell them and thank them.

I was recommended this firm by a member…
I was recommended this firm by a member of a council’s sensory team. Dad needed an amplified phone to enable him to keep in touch with family. I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and it was delivered Friday. It’s brilliant. He can not only hear it ring but can have a proper conversation with us.
I made a slight mistake when ordering and had to ring customer services twice. Both times the ladies were brilliant in answering my questions and smoothing out my problem. Thank you.

They deserve their five stars.
As to why I bought from Connevans. Well, their pricing was very competitive- it's also a breeze to claim VAT exemption. Just tick a box on a declaration.
I really liked that I was able to enter my hearing aid model on the website and was given a list of compatible devices. It took the guesswork out of buying.
I was given constant updates regarding the status of my purchase. Post was free, but I chose to pay an extra 81p, and I received my package the following day.
I was really impressed with their overall service, and I am happy to recommend them to any potential customers.
As to my purchase. I bought the Phonak TV connecter. I admit to thinking long and hard about whether I wanted to buy it as it isn't exactly cheap. I'm glad I did though. It's made such a difference to watching TV.
Installation was a breeze. I used the optical cable and powered it via a spare USB slot on my TV. It automatically connected to my hearing aids as soon as it powered up.
It's a great wee gizmo.

A Replacement
It was great to get a replacement, for an item that must be at least 10 years old. My only problem was, that I did not need the door bell unit, but the acoustic transmitter. I did not realise the mistake, until I received the tower. I had explained at the time, I did not need a door bell. So, I then had to pay another £80+to get the acoustic transmitter, which is hard being an OAP. I am still grateful for finding the unit with your company.

Connevans is a great company

I wanted a TV listening device but had a range of requirements which needed to be satisfied. I wasted money buying products recommended by other companies and was very frustrated by the time I contacted Connevans for help. When I phoned I was immediately put through to a sales person who quickly understood my problem, was very knowledgeable, courteous, patient and explained my options clearly and concisely. My questions were understood and answered quickly and confidently. I was recommended three devices, but steered towards one of the less expensive models as 'why pay for features' you do not need? In today's markets it is rare to find a company who listen, give clear informed advice and have good communication policies. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Lynne
