It is well paid agency to work with

It is well paid agency to work with. Also transparency and clear payslips are available weekly. Good selection of open jobs and positions. Definitely I do recommend this app.

I worked with Coople for five years, I always found work, I never had any issues with my pay, I received all my payslips, P60s, tax rebates. I have been in so many different places, I met new people, developed skills, I have never been bored. The work is flexible, there is an ample choice of shifts, job profiles and locations available. The wages are above the average. There is a helpline round the clock to offer support. It's a great company to work for.

Great agency and very helpful team

Great agency and very helpful team. Very nice jobs they have. I recommended to so many people and all was happy. The salary always on time, the payslip even earlier than expected. But sometimes hard to find a job or get hired. Also they can't protect you against racism, anyone can give you a bad feedback without a reason.

Worked two market research jobs both separate companies. BOTH times they relayed wrong information. They are just so rubbish at their job idk how they’re even running their office.

The worst company to work for if anyone…

The worst company to work for if anyone is thinking of working for them think twice people, careful they will give you all that hope of saying you have been confirmed of working for us then cancel you, you have bills to pay yet, as company if they want you to work for them, then why cancel people’s shift for no reason is literally heart breaking I have never come across any stupid company like this ,literally the worst company ever

I cannot complain too much about Coople…

I cannot complain too much about Coople in the very short time I worked with them.

The only complaint I have is sometimes I didn't get paid the amount I worked. Even after telling the Coople staff that I didn't get paid and filling out the missing hour's form. No one was listening to me.

I kept on being told to fill out the form and being ignored. the only way for them to send me my money was when I sent them a message stating this is the last time I will be talking about this matter and that I have raised it with my union. I quickly got a response and my money was paid to me the following Friday.

If you are using an agency as work I recommend joining a union for reasons which as this.

The other thing which is not Cooples fault is the work can be hard to come by especially if you are new. You won't get work regularly and will only get shifts should the employer select you.

In regards to getting hired, due to the number of jobseekers on the Coople Jobs App, there’s a high level of competition for shifts. To improve chances of getting hired, we recommend enabling push notifications on your device and then applying quickly. This will allow you to see and apply for relevant jobs as soon as they are posted.

DO NOT WORK HERE!

They completely scammed me! I worked a 7hr day for them and 1 month later I still haven’t been paid - they say they pay every week. Their phone number does not get answered at all. On email they told me they would have a response for me in a week and they would pay me then, but all my emails have been ignored since I tried to follow up a week later. In the app I was told to wait for a response again but with no timescale this time, and again have been ignored for days since. So ridiculous, I will never work a shift with them again and would 100% not recommend.

I got suspended for being sick and not…

I got suspended for being sick and not being able to go to work, despite letting them know in advance.
The one strike and you're unable to work again policy is ridiculous. People get ill and have accidents, and the staff at my doctors were absolutely baffled they had to provide a sicknote for this. And I am still suspended.
There is also no compensation for being asked to leave work early or having your shifts cancelled, and some managers leave bad reviews due to discrimination which cannot be appealed against. There is no protection for the workers.

1. Suspension and being sick: since our platform works in an automated way, if you’re not showing up for a booked shift, your account will be suspended. You’re definitely right that there are reasons like getting ill or having an accident that totally justify not showing up for work. Therefore, you can always appeal to your suspension or strikes and send us proof of your illness/accident.

2. Bad reviews: You are right, there is no automated way within our app to appeal against a bad review you’ve received from a hiring company. I just forwarded you don’t agree with, you always let us know at info@coople.com and we’ll look into this for you.

Absolute garbage.

Absolute garbage.
I have been on the app for couple of months now and still being unable to book a job. Had such high hopes as I would have preferred not having a agent and actually choose myself where I wish to go.
I have 14 years of experience and that is clearly in my cv. Meanwhile with another agency I am going to 5* hotels and high end venues.
Point being I do not understand what is the purpose of this operation.
Sounds good - doesn’t work.
Steer clear if you are actually serious about filling your week with shifts.

It doesn’t make sense ! I started to call some of the companies listed on Coople ( their numbers can easily be find on google ) guess what ? Many of them don’t even know Coople it doesn’t work with agencies !!! Coople must be shut down !!

Rest assured that our hiring companies and the jobs they post are real. It's completely free of costs to post a job on the Coople platform for them. It often happens, that the person who is picking up the phone at the front desk of a company doesn't know about Coople, but the HR Managers who post the job offerings do.

At the moment there is an oversupply of workers and not enough jobs for everybody, so there's a lot of competition on every shift. Which is probably one of the reasons, you haven't been hired so far.

It’s a mixed bag

It’s a mixed bag. When you sign up, you just have to get the first job and you are good; you start getting shifts (and will most likely get them) But if you cancel once or don’t use the app for sometime it is hard to get more jobs. I’ve been applying for jobs for months/gotten urgent requests but I am never chosen. I have also had shifts taken from me after confirmation without me knowing. I’m so glad I have other apps to support me and never relied on Coople. For some people, they are able to get full time permanent jobs(mostly administrative) through here which is great and there is tons of chef jobs that have weeks of shifts. It is easy to navigate through the app but the main thing is you can have dry spells for months. You shouldn’t join Coople if you aren’t a chef/into waiteressing/ into admin and don’t have other means of supporting yourself. Honestly, there are better job apps that guarantee you shifts.
