I haven't called them out and still their cover is double what the others are. I've been offered a paltry 10% discount, but the price is still remarkably high. I have emailed asking not to be put on automatic renewal. Interested to see whether they respond.

Good value, particularly as it covers the Republic of Ireland as standard.

I would prefer to give a zero rating. I paid £32.95 for cover 2019/2020. I made no claim during this period. The renewal premium for 2020/2021 was £42.95. I found online that I could get the same cover for £26.19. when I tried to call I couldn't get through at all. When I emailed whilst they acknowledged the email I have received no reply whatsoever despite further emails. I advised them that i will not be renewing my policy. Still no reply. Thank goodness I didn't have a breakdown. Beware people. Can you trust them

Seems value for money, easy to purchase, never used it in anger, so don't know how good they are at dealing with your breakdown.

An absolute waste of space. I burst a tyre in a pothole the size of a small town& managed to limp to the local garage on 3 wheels just a few hundred yards away.
The totally disinterested man I spoke to on the phone told me that because it was at a garage they wouldn't attend.
I explained that the garage in question was closed after 5pm,this was of no consequence whatsoever to him.
Have had to abandon my car there& get someone to collect me& take me home.
Utterly disgraceful.
I will ring the garage in the morning& get them to sort it.
I will also ring Covermybreakdown, cancel my policy & ask for a refund.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME& MONEY on this bunch of cowboys.

I needed to get my wife cover as I had a job overseas nov 2019 so decided upon this shower. The car wouldn’t start due to flat battery, a local contractor came out and jump started it, great. Sadly this is where things went wrong. After driving it round for 10 mins as contractor suggested it was back on the drive. Next day dead. CoverMyBreakdown weren’t coming back out, no way. My wife called me, and I called them, now way Jose. My mate bought a new battery and fitted it. Bingo she fired up, and was used for a few days. Then one day, no start. This time dash lights are on and car is turning over trying to start but won’t. Called the shower again and they’re saying it’s the same fault, now way Jose. So I emailed Adrienne who replied to people who left proper reviews. I included original fault report and a receipt for new battery. Waste of space, stay clear and get a decent breakdown policy. Research it properly. I was rushing. Never again it’s important. Oh yeah the girl I spoke to was rude also.

I rarely provide reviews (good or bad) but really wish I'd read some of the negative reviews before signing up with this "cover" for my 76 year-old mother. CoverMy are just an agent who subcontracts their services to Emergency Assist Ltd, who are only interested in avoiding any call-out unless they can fleece the caller in distress. Despite having a legitimate reason for a Home Start call yesterday, EAL took it upon themselves to ignore the Terms & Conditions of the CoverMy Policy (quoting their own), demanding a £125 call-out fee from an elderly lady. THERE IS A REASON THIS COMPANY IS CHEAPER THAN OTHERS, DON'T RISK USING THEM.

Had to use my breakdown insurance today. CoverMy breakdown worked really well - breakdown truck arrived in about an hour - Elite Recovery of Falkirk - pleasant and helpful driver rescued me and 2 small children, and delivered the car to my local garage - definitely recommend - top marks!

1 star as there was not a no star option.
First breakdown put me on hold for 1 hour so I sorted it and paid a different company (whilst on hold) my choice as didn't have time to sit and wait)
They dont answer phone very fast it rings for ages and they hung up twice on me.
Second breakdown on M1 at 7PM-2 degrees 2 children in car, took several calls before they finally arrived 3 hrs45 mins later then took me to a service station to be picked up by someone else. When I complained via email and asked for a refund I got the usual sorry we aim to be there in 45 mins, there is no break in contract as they actually dont give actual time frame. I would seriously consider going elsewhere the way myself and children were left is shameful.

Overall a very good process for setting up breakdown insurance. Nice easy and quick renewal process. Can stop the insurance auto-renewing in the customer portal. Good price.
I've not had to use the service so can't vouch for how good it is.
The only issue is my car is approaching the cutoff date at 14 years old, so I will have to look elsewhere for breakdown cover soon.
I have just renewed my policy yet again. I have been with this company for a number of years following a very negative experience with one of the 3 best known companies. So far, every time I have rung them needing assistance they responded quickly, were helpful and provided the help and advice I needed. As a female and a pensioner I need a reliable service!

Disgraceful/ Disgusting service AVOID
Had a breakdown on 4/12/19 reported it late afternoon, after 90 minutes called me back saying they could not find an agent to send out and try to fix it or tow the car.
Was with my wife and daughter in the car freezing cold, had to leave the car and make our way home on our own. The car is still there. Have instructed my solicitor to deal with it as I have all the conversation with Tom recorded on my daughter’s phone and will be filling a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

I found this cover useless, Iwas stuck on a very busy rounderbout for 2hours even as I was supposed to be a priority I am 76 and eventually the police turned up to see if I was ok but by then I was freezing cold and upset they managed to start my car and took me home to make sure I was ok.Thankyou you lovely police.I tried numerous times to get hold of Cover my breakdown but to no avail I was put on to a recorded message saying all lines were busy I don’t rate this firm at all.
