It is the second time I buy but I`m still waiting for a solution...
It is the second time I buy a travel insurance with Coverwise. The first time my partner and I got Covid in England, it was in January of this year. I called Coverwise and was well treated and got all the information I needed. But the case is not solved yet. I sent all the documents but I never got a phone call or an email to say that it was all ok or if was missing any document. I had to ring them a few times and this week I finally got an email saying that they needed some further documents which I already sent 3 days ago but no answer to that yet. Today I both another travel insurance with them because their price are good and I still hope that they will sort the problem I had in England.

Watch out they auto renewal your policy without your say so. Very sneaky and not to be trusted.

You should opt in to auto renewal
Dont trust what these guys say underneath. The wording hidden away and are you really gonna read through every email your sent. These parasites know this and use it against you.

In spite of that, we will give an answer to clarify the point you raised.
The auto-renewal is clearly stated in the policy wording the clients are asked to review and accept before completing the purchasing process.
Also, we always send customers an email reminding them of the expiring policy and the auto-renewal.
And, even if they fail to inform us to stop the renewal, they still have 14 days to cancel the renewed policy and get a refund.

The auto-renewal of an annual multi-trip policy is clearly stated in the contract that the client has accepted before buying the product and they are given the chance to remove it at any time.
Also, a month before the actual renewal, we inform the clients of the upcoming renewal and give them the opportunity to stop it if they wish so.
After the renewal, we also send a confirmation email with a 14-day period to cancel the policy.

Disgusting customer service! I would give 0* if I could.
They are happy to be sending you multiple emails that you should renew your policy but when is time to make a claim you will never hear from them.
They should refund money to people who paid for their policy as they can not deliver that they are promising.

Very bad customer service as cant get…
Very bad customer service as cant get through on automated service.
Unable to ask if they will refund fully cancallation flights and accommodation to Goa india as there is now a Visa ban in place.
I have the opportunity to cancel flight but will only get quarter cost back.
This needs sorting and coverwise are unavailable for contact to advise.

flight cancellation- no claim!
Our flight has been cancelled from Milan to jordan due to jordan restrictions of Italian flights. However Coverwise have been far from helpful in helping us find flights to reach our final destination. We have rang numerous times and the service is poor! I will be putting in a complaint. The Coverwise policy states we are covered but they seem to read in between the lines! Useless insurance!

Flight cancellation not covered.
My flight being cancelled due to coronavirus doesn't count as a quarantine measure.
At least not according to the agent I was talking to in order to make a claim. He said specifically that it is not covered under the cancellation policy, but you can see in the policy wording under section A that quarantine measures are covered under section 2 of the reasons given.
Of course the airline (Austrian Airlines) has offered to refund the cancelled flight, but in order to book a new one back it cost me an additional £200 (original return flight was £620, just the rebooked ticket back was £527), and fortunately I caught this soon after the announcement because I checked on the Saturday and the cheapest ticket was up to £2000
I asked them where it said it was excluded. They had no answer. Complaint in. This is why nobody trusts insurance companies.

Rang following advice to visit a clinic after a fall. On the fourth attempt I managed to speak to an advisor without being cut off (the problem was not with me - I suspect they use foreign call centres despite the UK number). After a conversation almost as painful as my injury I was told that Coverwise could not recommend a clinic to visit as I was currently travelling to a new destination, and that I should ring back when I arrived.
Might be cheap and easy to buy but complete lack of empathy when you need help.

This is just Half Opinion...
Applying for the insurance is quite easy and very rapid response of the system and the price is quite competitive, however I still haven't use the claim service to give my full opinion as my travel insurance is for 1 year. Will keep posted after further developments.
