Taster day in Silver
Very enjoyable relaxed class in Silver.
We all went home with our creations, mostly pendants, and earrings.
Very good tuition from Lynne, and helpful tips. I did ask a lot of questions, but Lynne had time for all of us. I have since made things at home, and feel more confident to do so.
Thank you.
What a fabulous day
What a fabulous day. Very relaxed and yet so much accomplished! I booked this for my son and I as something to do together that we both had an interest in. It will be a treasured memory with a gorgeous tray to remind us of a good time. Instructions clear and a wonderful working space. Everyone should sign up and enjoy this experience.
A brilliant creative experience
Everything you need is provided. The course runs very smoothly. The atmosphere is friendly and enthusiastic. I made a belt of which I'm very proud. Thoroughly recommend.

Great day , learned loads. Dave is a lovely man, great teacher . I did this coarse to learn enough skills to tackle a DIY project and I have. And it was fun highly recommend.
Jules is a lovely friendly person
Jules is a lovely friendly person, very welcoming.
As there was only 4 of us there was plenty of time for her to explain what we had to do, oversee us and help when things went wrong. I am very happy with my ring - a nice reminder of a great day
Jo the tutor was excellent
Jo the tutor was excellent. She demonstrated and explained every step of the way. She was very knowlegable and answered all my questions. She really wanted me to get the best out of my day and I certainly did that.

Had a brilliant morning in the most tranquil of surroundings.
Lovely, calm, gentle teacher.
I took my 7yr old grandson along and Mark had the ability to engage and teach to his level and make his morning one he will never forget as well attending to the needs of the four adults on the morning.
Can not recommend highly enough
Thank you Matt
Took a Blacksmith beginner course at Hammer and Hound, Blyth
Took a Blacksmith beginner course at Hammer and Hound Forge at Blyth this weekend with Gemma, Richard and Bruce. Alex, the owner and instructor is really good at his job and excellent in passing on his knowledge so we could work the metal into useful items, showed us how to make a coat hook, bottle opener and toasting fork which used different methods of working the metal in the forge and on the anvil, would recommend it to anyone as an introduction to blacksmithing or a really enjoyable hammer hitting hot metal day but you need to work your arms and shoulders before arriving, just advising
A truly brilliant and fun day
Had a truly brilliant day making my kitchen knife! Dave is extremally professional, very patient, a great teacher and very good company. Learnt loads and came out with a great knife. Picture is before and after. Totally recommend.
Simon deserves 6 stars
Simon deserves 6 stars. Half day woodturning was fun, informative, practical, good pace and flexibility. This is what a course should look like. Simon is a great person too!
So much fun!!! Will be back
Andrew was incredible, so patient and knowledgeable and we had the best time. Definitely coming back for another of his many wonderful classes! We were complete beginners and had such fun and feel confident that we could make more at home now. 100% recommended
Great Experience
I booked this for my mums birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were in a really small group, which helped when we needed help and the instructor was really good at explaining and was very patient. Came away with 2 rings which were pretty good for our first go! Would definitely recommend!
Learn, have fun - excellent value
Try finding an affordable day introducing you to bookbinding and you will struggle. But I was delighted to come across this day run by Ali Reeve, with assistance from husband Paul. (Two dogs were icing on the cake). We were shown and achieved 4 books, 4 different bindings. All materials were provided and you could also buy equipment (cradle, sewing frame, clamp), and Paul made a tool for me to help with a problem I had with some previous home attempts, Ali provided advice on addressing other issues . You learn a lot, it’s fun, and very motivating. And excellent value. Highly recommended.
A must-try experience
Kezia was a brilliant teacher and such a down to earth person with a very sweet dog. We loved the course and really had fun on the day, would highly recommend it!
Unforgettable Experience
We had such a fantastic experience with Anna making our wedding rings, she was so lovely and helpful and genuinely made it so easy to make them ourselves! We even got lots of photos of the day which was such a lovely touch! Thank you so much! Would 100% recommend ☺️
Great workshop
Wool & Silk Art Studio Workshop
My friend and I came down from North West & Mid West Wales to join the course, and it was well worth the journey! We had a lovely day with Svetlana, she made us feel very welcome and her teaching technic was so easy to follow. We were both very happy with our creations. Loved it! We are both looking forward to visiting again to make other felted goodies.
Thank you Svetlana for a great day. X
Highly recommend
Highly recommend! It was a wonderful and personalised experience for Mum and I. Steve and Angie were so friendly, helpful and also keen for us to get stuck into making our bauble special to us. We could choose our colours, roll the glass into the chippings and blow it into shape. 20 minites didn't sound like a lot of time, but that is all you need! Too hot for us to be there any longer and we created a beautiful piece. Plus such good value for what we did. There's also a lovely farm shop and cafe in the courtyard. It turned out to be a nice few hours spent with Mum.
