Last Sunday I test drove two vehicles at Croyland Car Megastore with the help of Indy. Eventually deciding on a Peugeot 208 GT (HG22 CHJ). I picked the vehicle up today (Thursday) the part exchange of my previous vehicle and the new one went very smoothly and the car drives beautifully.

My salesman Dan Little made my experience of buying my car enjoyable and easy. He helped me with any inquiries that i had towards any car and gave me a variety of options to choose from. When we picked up the car it seemed good as new considering it was used. I would recommend Croyland to anyone and thanks again for the help!!

Entrusted to source a car for my granddaughter, I fixed on a low mileage Toyoto Aygo X. The price on the website was OK and I was attracted by the website statement “*Fees are already accounted for within the payments displayed and are included within the total amount payable”. Having decided to purchase, it was an unpleasant shock to be confronted by a request for an additional £149 admin fee! I pointed out the discrepancy to the website and was advised the website was wrong - it had recently been updated allowing this error to occur. This fee was negotiated away but the bad taste remains!
I pointed out a partially deflated N/S/F tyre prior to purchase and was assured this would be corrected. Despite being given a new MOT and Croyland's pre-delivery Safety Check, this tyre was still partially deflated on collection. The salesman tried to reinflate the tyre, but within 2 miles of leaving, the tyre pressure warning light illuminated.
It was OK for the short journey home where it was re-inflated to the correct pressure.
Some two days later it was found the other three tyres were underinflated, though the original low pressure tyre was OK!
In this instance, the pre-delivery inspection appears to have been a farce - I’m not even sure the promised service was done - the oil appeared very dirty for just a few miles.
The service I received from Ben Pugh, the Sales Advisor was excellent but Croyland Car Megastore let him down badly.
I had a call from Customer Service the following day who asked for the car to be returned - not practical given that by then, the car was some 50 miles away - as previously advised to Croyland and as per the Invoice address!

Dan Aspinal was so helpful in picking my new car. Very knowledgeable and insightful, guiding me through the different aspects of the car I purchased. Service is second to none, with my car being ready earlier than expected! Top top dealership, and would 100% recommend
