I went on a cruise booked via Cruise…
I went on a cruise booked via Cruise Kings and while the cruise was enjoyable as can be, I am disappointed with Cruise Kings overall. I had reached out to them before for a quote and nobody bothered to respond. So, when it was time to book another cruise, I gave them another go and matched with an advisor that was very responsive. I booked after all my queries were addressed...including what would they do in the event the cruise go down in price. I was assured they would reach out to Virgin and sort it all out for me. There was no mention of any window stipulations. Nothing. They put my mind at ease and I had no reason not to trust what the advisor said.
Anyway, long story short, the cruise did reduce in price and they made all the excuses in the world not to honour it. They promised one thing so I would book and then denied it all when it came to fulfilling that promise.
Will not be booking through Cruise Kings or any other travel agent again for cruises, as it seems booking direct is the way to go, if you don't want to be lied to.
