Fake and misleading price quotes, increased when trying to book
We are frequent cruisers and used Cruisetopic in the past, but recently we have become aware of some manipulative and even potentially illegal practices. When we search for a cruise, an attractive offer comes back, but when we try to book a few minutes later, the price is mysteriously increased often by hundreds of Euros. In other words, the internet offer seems intentionally misleading, and much cheaper than what is actually available. It seems that their booking site may use an fake algorhytm to attract interest offering prices that are intentionally misleading and not actually available. This has happened repeatedly, so it is not a coincidence. We found that competing agencies (like Seascanner, a German agency) offered far better prices than Cruistopic. Rather than trusting Cruisetopic's fake offers, search for genuine offers from other agencies!

Unfortunately, this means that a price displayed during a search cannot always be guaranteed a few minutes later if availability changes or a promotion expires.
Cruisetopic does not artificially increase prices, nor do we use "fake" offers to attract bookings. The prices shown on our website are provided by the cruise lines and are updated continuously according to their systems.
We understand that price fluctuations can be frustrating, especially for experienced cruisers comparing multiple agencies. However, different agencies may have access to different promotions, group allocations, or commercial agreements, which can occasionally result in different prices for the same sailing.
We value transparency and always strive to provide the best available options and conditions to our customers. We remain at your disposal should you wish to discuss any specific quote in more detail.
