Cryptonomy/nomy finance is a scam

Cryptonomy is creating an army of victims that they cannot ignore. I am just one of many with the same old story. Cryptonomy has locked my crypto up for a year without my permission and I have expired contracts that don’t actually expire. They actually told me that it’s because of their partners, who we don’t even know if they actually exist or who they are. I have lost over $60k. Cryptonomy has created a business out of scamming people out of their hard earned money. Cryptonomy will gaslight you saying it was your fault and say, “their hands are tired because of their partners”, but that is a complete lie. I see a class action lawsuit brewing. Cryptonomy it’s painfully obvious that you are the source of the issue- when thousands and thousands are experiencing the same issues. I encourage everyone that has been scammed to post on every review site and platform and reach out to crypto influencers to let them know everyone is being scammed so they stop pushing their scamming agenda.

Dear Karma,

Your statements are unsubstantiated and do not reflect the actual structure or operation of our platform.

Cryptonomy continues to process contract maturities and client redemptions on a rolling basis. All users who opted into fixed-term products did so with full acknowledgment of the contract terms, including settlement timelines that depend on external counterparties. These conditions are clearly disclosed and agreed to during the deposit process.

You are not being “ignored.” If your contracts have reached their term and you wish to exit early, the Portfolio Exit Program remains available at:

We understand delays are frustrating, but misinformation campaigns and public defamation do not accelerate resolution — they only create confusion and spread fear. We continue to assist all verified clients who engage through the appropriate channels.

Sincerely,
Cryptonomy Team

They use est.. market conditions, complex process and other words to hold your funds without an end date

This site was promoted by several YouTubers and one of them even commented on his YouTube channel showing he was able to withdraw from his position. He was sort of making fun of people saying they could not withdraw. My contract expired 4 days ago and what people were posting on here is exactly what they tried to do to me. Your contract is up and you try to withdraw but you can’t because the funds are still locked up. I waited another day, then another, then another. I contacted the support messenger built into the webpage. Even though my account is pass the contract date and no longer accumulating interest I can’t withdraw because it’s labeled as Active lol. Here is where it gets good. Because they have it labeled as active and you want your funds, you have to fill out a form for early withdrawal. But the contract is up so why is it considered early withdrawal? Because it’s marked as active. What happens when you fill out the form???. You wave your right to between 30-80% of the interest and then you can’t say anything negative about them or they will go after you for damages lol. If you can’t get your money back without filing out that form, that is duress. Since when you are in a contract and it ends but the contract date does not matter. I guess that’s why they put est. I feel like they use those kinds of things to make it seem like they are not doing anything wrong while holding onto your funds. I had my funds in there for a year and I want my money and I’m not filling out a damn thing to get it. As easy as my funds were put in there is the same way I want it back. Some people are scared to leave bad reviews in fear of not receiving their funds back. I don’t care. I want my coins!. If I don’t get my coins I will be posting every day until I get it.

Dear Kevin,

We understand your frustration — but it’s important to clarify the structure of the earning products you enrolled in.

Your contract did reach its maturity date. However, like all high-yield fixed-term products, it includes a post-maturity processing window that allows for liquidity balancing and settlement. This stage is clearly referenced in platform documentation and is not hidden behind vague language. The “Active” status post-maturity does not mean the contract is extended — it simply means the payout process is pending and underway.

The Portfolio Exit is not mandatory. It is an optional mechanism designed for clients who prefer faster access by selling their position to institutional buyers. If you do not wish to use it, you are free to wait for standard payout without signing any additional documents. Your funds are not being withheld arbitrarily, and no rights are waived unless you choose to enter the exit transaction voluntarily.

Spreading incorrect legal interpretations — such as equating voluntary options with “duress” — only delays understanding and resolution.

If your intention is to receive your funds as efficiently as possible, our support team remains ready to assist you through the appropriate channels.

Sincerely,
Cryptonomy Team

Unauthorized Balance Staking

My ATOM staking with a period of 6 months ended on June 3 and was available in the wallet for “withdrawal”. However, when I tried to make the withdrawal, which could take up to 24 hours, no ATOM token was sent to my Binance wallet!

Note: My staking of 600 XRP ended on March 10, 2025 has not yet been returned for withdrawal, it is still blocked in the staking and it seems that I will never receive it again... I have another staking of 400 XRP that will end on June 16, 2025 and I also consider it lost, that's a total of 1000 XRP.
1000 XRP that I bought with difficulty and now I'm at a loss, and Cryptonomy only gives lame excuses, it's no use having an asset earning interest forever in an eternally blocked form!

Now to ATOM
I then logged on to the Cryptonomy platform to see if the withdrawal was still in progress and unexpectedly my balance of 36 ATOM is once again in a staking blocked until December 4, 2025!

How can you explain that? Since the balance was already available for withdrawal and I had already placed the withdrawal order and was just waiting?
I'm at a loss and I need my money in 1000 XRP and ATOM, do you think I would do a new 6-month staking?

Reply from Cryptonomy

Dear Leonardo,

We’ve reviewed your message and would like to clarify several key points to prevent further misunderstanding.

First, no staking contract — including those involving XRP or ATOM — can be renewed or reinitiated without user-side confirmation. Our platform does not possess the ability to “restake” funds without an authenticated interaction. If a transaction was initiated and your balance was reallocated, that action would have been recorded with a timestamp, session ID, and confirmation log.

Second, withdrawal requests — once initiated — must complete blockchain-level settlement processes. If a contract transitions back into staking shortly after a withdrawal attempt, it strongly suggests an interaction was made, either by activating a portfolio automation setting or confirming a prompt during the withdrawal flow.

We understand it may be difficult to retrace these steps, but we invite you to formally request an internal review. Alternatively, if you no longer wish to wait for scheduled maturity, you may apply for early exit using the Portfolio Exit Form available here:

You are not required to use this option, but it is available to clients seeking accelerated access.

We’re here to support you — but only through verified channels and fact-based communication.

Sincerely,
Cryptonomy Team

Without your consent, they will lock your assets in fixed contrats, removing your ability to withdraw and then they will blame you. Since my first invesment I have never changed anything but they have never provided me with any proof to support their claim.

Dear Elizabeth,

We respectfully disagree with your claim that any assets were “locked” without your consent. Our platform does not — and cannot — initiate fixed-term contracts or staking transitions without verified user interaction. All such actions are confirmed via timestamped records and secured logs, and clients are welcome to request an audit if they believe an error has occurred.

If you have never modified your contract settings, we encourage you to contact support through verified channels so your case can be reviewed in detail. Publicly stating that actions were taken without proof, while refusing to provide your account information for formal investigation, does not support resolution.

We remain available to assist — provided the communication is based on facts and proper process.

Dear Phoenix,

Your repeated public accusations have now crossed into the realm of deliberate misinformation.

No client has ever been threatened with account suspension in exchange for review removal. That claim is categorically false and unsupported by any evidence. All client interactions are documented and subject to internal audit — including your own.

Your suggestion that your assets were “stolen” due to contract extension also fails to reflect the nature of the products you agreed to. Fixed-term contracts with optional optimization settings are time-bound and include mechanisms for compounding or reinvestment, which are always user-driven. Any attempt to rewrite the facts of your own transactions will not change the underlying digital audit trail.

If you wish to resolve your case professionally, we again encourage you to respond to our information request via Trustpilot or contact support with verified details.

Publicly inventing claims of blackmail and threats without a shred of supporting documentation is defamatory — and may carry legal consequences.

Dear Jared,

Your contract did not “disappear” or “fail” — it transitioned into the standard post-maturity processing phase, which is clearly outlined for all high-yield products. These earning structures include settlement cycles that can extend beyond the maturity date depending on asset class, volume, and external partner timing.

If you no longer wish to remain in the standard payout queue, you are welcome to apply for the Portfolio Exit program — a regulated option that allows qualified clients to sell their positions to institutional buyers.

You can access the application form here:

We’re here to assist, but the process must follow contract terms and platform protocol — not assumptions.

Don't use Cryptonomy!

I wish I would have done my research prior to depositing any crypto into their website. I read reviews where if you try and make a withdrawal, the funds you tried to withdraw mysteriously makes it's way into a Fixed Time Deposit. I didn't think it was true until I tried it. My initial fixed time deposits finally matured after 1 year. I had deposited XDC and XRP. I initiated a withdrawal for my XDC. A message popped up stating it will be processed within 24hrs.
I wish I would have screen shot everything as previous reviews had stated to do. I checked my account the following morning and some how my withdrawal for XDC became a Fixed Deposit for 6 months. Not only that, my XRP which i didn't try to withdraw also became a Fixed Deposit for 6 months. Contacted Customer support. They gave me some fluff about how I may have inadvertently activated the Portfolio Optimization feature. Which i know I didn't. So we'll see what happens when this matures and I try to make another withdrawal. I am definitely going to document and screenshot everything. User Beware!!! I smell a scam!!!

Dear Marion,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand how unsettling it can feel when a transaction doesn't proceed as expected — which is exactly why we strongly encourage all users to maintain clear records and reach out promptly through verified channels when clarification is needed.

Your description suggests that the Portfolio Optimization function may have been triggered — a feature designed to maximize yield by redeploying idle funds into active contracts. While this setting requires user interaction to be enabled, it is possible for it to be engaged unintentionally if the interface is used rapidly or without fully reviewing confirmation prompts. In such cases, we conduct full internal log audits upon request to determine the precise action pathway.

We wish to clarify that no funds are forcibly moved without an associated user-side confirmation. Any transition to a fixed product is logged with timestamped metadata — and clients are welcome to request a transaction-level review through our compliance team.

If you’d like our support team to recheck your account activity and confirm the status of your current holdings, we’re happy to assist. Please reply via secure support channels with your verified details.

The scam continues

A few months back, Cryptonomy had the nerve to send me an email, claiming they’d graciously renegotiate my contracts and offer an early exit—months late actually. Desperate to finally get my crypto, I agreed. Things seemed to move forward when interest payouts started hitting on these so-called new contracts, so I initiated a withdrawal to my self-custody wallet yesterday. In yet another stunning display of sheer arrogance, instead of processing my withdrawal, Cryptonomy locked my crypto into another 6-month contract AGAIN! I haven’t seen a single payout since last year.

I recorded the withdrawal attempt, its conversion to a fixed contract, using two different devices, capturing how my pending withdrawal was hijacked into another contract hours later. A side-by-side video will be hitting YouTube shortly. Are you going to tell me I faked the video using two separate devices to record your scam, Cryptonomy?

I've already reported Cryptonomy to all US authorities including the FBI, the FTC, the SEC, the Secret Service, the CFTC, DOJ Cryptocurrency Enforcement and the Georgia Secretary of State Securities division. I suggest all Cryptonomy I also just contacted my congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene who, like her or not, has been responsive to issues I had in the past.

Dear Kris,

Your message contains serious accusations — yet offers no verifiable user ID, transaction record, or formal complaint submitted through any of our support channels. If you are a legitimate client, we urge you to share this information through proper means so that your case can be reviewed and addressed accordingly.

No asset on our platform is ever “converted” or “locked” without a confirmed on-platform interaction or approved opt-in. All contract adjustments are timestamped, digitally logged, and require visible user confirmation. If you have a recorded discrepancy, we are open to a full audit — but only when presented via formal submission, not social media threats.

We take regulatory cooperation seriously and are fully prepared to engage with any relevant authorities. However, public accusations without evidence, paired with sensationalist language and political name-dropping, only serve to dilute the credibility of your own claims.

If you seek a real resolution — share your details privately and we will assign a senior representative to assist.

Dear Theron,

We hear your frustration — but allow us to clarify a few important points.

Your case has not been ignored, nor misrepresented. In fact, multiple written confirmations have already been provided, outlining the status of your XLM and HBAR assets, which remain in the processing queue as part of the upcoming release cycle. These statements were not generic — they were specific and traceable.

It’s important to remember: the nature of high-yield financial contracts, especially those exceeding 100% annually, comes with inherent structural mechanisms — including time-bound releases. Our team works under these constraints to balance security, partner readiness, and legal integrity.

You are welcome to wait for the natural payout process — or, if you prefer a faster option, the Portfolio Marketplace offers institutional purchase of overdue contracts. That option is live and available to you now.

We remain committed to handling your case with transparency and care — provided the dialogue stays rooted in facts.

Sincerely,

We’d like to clarify that users cannot manually terminate or recreate fixed-term contracts once they are confirmed — all contract actions require explicit interface-level confirmation and are timestamped and logged accordingly. Now it’s QNT’s turn……

Tried to move FIVE QNT 🙄 to my personal wallet and guess what everyone?! It was moved to a fixed account 😳. Not only did they move it to a fixed account, they took the other QNT that was already in a fixed account (illegally of course ) and added it to the total to start the clock all over again.
This company, as everyone on here knows is completely and utterly corrupt and complicit in numerous financial crimes. This exit strategy crap they are spewing out, is nothing but another illegal scheme to get you to sign your rights to your crypto away. STAY AWAY!!!
One more thing, especially to their customer support group and Michelle. Your BS canned responses and threats of legal action are laughable at best. You can do NOTHING to your clients that you’ve stolen from, NOTHING! Please try……..

Dear Greg,

We categorically reject the defamatory and unsubstantiated allegations made in your comment.

Your claims regarding asset movement into fixed accounts “illegally” are factually incorrect. All actions on our platform — including any fixed-term product engagement — require explicit user confirmation via wallet or interface interaction. There is no mechanism by which assets are forcibly or arbitrarily reassigned outside the terms you originally accepted.

As for the exit strategy option, it is entirely voluntary. It was introduced specifically to assist clients seeking early liquidity from completed or overdue contracts. Participation does not revoke your rights — it simply accelerates potential release through verified institutional counterparties.

We are here to help clients who seek resolution in good faith. However, public accusations of theft and crime, unsupported by any legal claim or evidence, are not only harmful — they border on libel and may carry legal consequences of their own.

If you wish to resolve your concern constructively, we remain available.

They are committing a huge fraud. They are holding a lot of people's crypto without their permission. They keep taking my withdrawals and putting them into fixed deposits. They are also prematurely ending contracts, only to put them back into even more extended contracts without any payments. This company is really good at committing fraud, hence it is still operating. The Cryptonomy scam explained -

STEP 1 -
Sponsoring You Tubers to promote your lie and gain peoples trust.

STEP 2 -
People invest small amounts and get paid which makes them invest more money and give you 5 star reviews on Trust Pilot.

STEP 3 -
When they invest large sums of money you shaft them by making up excuses such as market volatility and that rubbish about your made up accredited partners, so you can't pay anything yet!

But rest assured your funds are safe and making interest.

STEP 4 -
When people think they have been paid, try and withdraw you re-stake all of it for another year.

Scammer

I have been with this company for 15 months now not because I wanted to but because they have got my tokens locked.

First experience, 15 months ago, as soon as I deposited my tokens, somehow it was transfered to a 12 months fixed deposit. I enquired and they reply was, I did a mistake and i have to wait until the contract is expired. Finally the contract was expired but my tokens were never released. They said 5 days, then 30 days, then, up to 90 days. And suddenly yesterday all my tokens were released and they restaked back to 9 months contract.

I enquired, and the answer is same, I did it and I have to wait for nine month but now I know that what is going to happen after 9 months.

I know so many of us are on the same page. How can we all be together and get these scammers behind the bar?????

Dear Nirmal,

Thank you for your message. While we understand your frustration, we must emphasize that all contract behavior—including deposits, fixed terms, and restaking—is governed transparently by the Terms of Earn that every user agrees to during setup.

Delays after contract maturity, while not ideal, are outlined and allowed under current policy—especially as funds continue to generate interest and remain fully secure.

To help us look into your specific situation and provide accurate information, please respond to the contact information request we’ve submitted through Trustpilot. Once we can confirm your identity, a dedicated agent will personally review your account and assist you further.

Best regards,
Cryptonomy Team
