I had an issue with the Strap on the Fly6…

I had an issue with the Strap on the Fly6. I wrote an email to the Cyclic team and received a reply the next day. The day after that I received an email to say the strap would be replaced. Two days ago I received not one strap, but two. Excellent service from Cyclic.

Poor quality and unreliable, caution if you buy as a UK consumer

I purchased the Cyliq Fly6 GEN3 bike camera with high expectations, but it has been a significant disappointment from the start. The camera has serious reliability issues; it switches itself off randomly, making it completely untrustworthy for recording my rides. This is a well-known issue if you search online, yet the company seems uninterested in addressing it properly.

The customer support is another major letdown. Based in Australia, the time difference means that even simple queries take days to resolve, adding to the frustration. To make matters worse, if you need to return the faulty device, they expect you to cover the shipping costs to Australia. This is simply unacceptable for a product that’s faulty out of the box.

If you experience issues and purchased the device with a credit card, I strongly advise making a Section 75 claim. Cyliq being an Australian company does not exempt them from UK consumer protection laws, regardless of where the product was purchased.

In summary, I cannot recommend the Cyliq Fly6 GEN3 to anyone. Save your money and avoid the hassle.

Excellent customer service

My Fly6 failed and the full customer attention and the process was fluid and quick. I couldn't ask for a better process. The staff were fantastic. For a small product I was amazed. Highly recommend the products from Cycliq from the customer service alone. I also love the product, Peace of mind cycling.

They stand behind there products

Have had my front and rear cameras for a while, not current models. Lately, I have had some issues with them. The service department was excellent working with me and got both units working properly again.

Customer service was outstanding

Customer service was outstanding. UPS lost my package. I contacted Cycliq cust svc and they not only responded immediately but had another unit shipped out which I received a few days later. I now own their last 3 versions of the Fly 6. I love the product, quality, and ease of use. Their customer service team has always been very responsive.

D- for Ashe (“support supervisor”) who proved to be the antithesis of Roger. Off-putting personality, unable to bring a task to fruition. Ghosted me, vanished, gone. What the heck? As a mid-60s grandpa, I don’t need a support team member who has a grudging attitude. I need someone to mentor me through the process. If he doesn’t like his job, leave. Could tarnish your reputation. Caused me to pause and momentarily consider non-Cycliq options for future purchases.

In brief, I love my Cycliq products and Roger was a breath of fresh air. This chap deserves a pat on the back!

Quick and efficient replacement, even out of warranty

My camera had an issue that seemed like water ingress after about 18 months of using it. Even though it was out of warranty, Cycliq went out of their way to replace it. They have actually replaced a few through the years. their customer service has always been helpful and gotten me a replacement as soon as possible! They are great to deal with, and quick to troubleshoot. Thanks

An honest review - amended up after issues

EDIT!!

Originally ordered a bundle and only received a front camera and cover. with 7 out of 9 items missing. Delivery was delayed and contained no paperwork such as order details, shipping list etc

I immediately contacted Cycliq on Friday and although dont work weekends ignored my emails, facebook messages etc me until Tuesday when I placed a negative review here. (From the response below, I didnt realise Monday is part of the weekend in Australia)

There was some communication to resolve the issue and they have now sent the missing items (still no paperwork included.

The really need to sort out there UK distribution, at least include a shipping form that is checked against the order to make sure this kind of thing doesnt happen again.

They really let themselves down with this order.

Moved my review from a 1 to 3 because it was sorted eventually. Cant give a 4 or 5 because the issue should simply never happened.

Unfortunately I have no had to revert to a 1 star as the product quality is just rubbish. After 2 weeks, the spring door of my camera stuck and wont open at all. so now I have to undo 2 screws holding the door to try and access the charging port. the small spring that is meant to lift the door is just woeful.... I dread having to deal with customer support over this

AVOID these devices at all costs.
