A delivery was scheduled today for…

A delivery was scheduled today for 8-12pm. I started tracking it and noticed there are 2 stops away for the last two hours. No call to explain the delays, calls from me werent answered, as well as whatsappp messages. If i dont recieve my bed today, i will get a refund. The Manager, Luke, asks for a six star review. Well, WHERE IS MY BED??? He talks a good game, just doesnt deliver unfortunately.
To add insults to injury, a supposed delivery driver called me saying they would be three hours late because they are stuck in traffic or i should reschedule. Lucky me. Never again....

Three Weeks of Chasing, Changing Dates and No Proper Updates

Everything in this review is 100% factual.

My bed delivery/assembly issue was handed over to D4U Deliveries after the retailer failed to complete the job and needed another company to come back out and sort it.

From the start, I was mainly dealing with one manager/contact person at D4U. He called me once at the beginning, but after that I had to constantly chase him for updates. I was repeatedly told, “I will get back to you,” but most of the time he did not. The dates kept changing and I was given the runaround.

When D4U’s team first came out, they were clearly confused and did not have the correct tools. They were even asking me if I had tools. Because they did not come prepared, the job could not be completed, which meant I then had to go back to the manager again and keep chasing for another visit to be arranged. That should never happen when a company is being paid to sort out a delivery and installation problem properly.

That caused even more delay and pushed the whole situation back by about another week. When the team finally came back with the correct tools, I still had to let them use my own measuring tape just to help get the job finished.

I should not have to keep chasing a delivery company over and over again just to get basic updates as it is time consuming. Yet that is exactly what happened. The whole thing dragged on for about three weeks from D4U’s side alone, and if I had not kept calling and texting, nothing would have moved.

There was clearly a breakdown in communication between the retailer and D4U, but that does not excuse the poor follow-up, changing dates, lack of updates, and unprofessional handling. Very poor service. Avoid!

Divan base was well wrapped

The company kept me informed about delay and the product was delivered safely and well wrapped in thick plastic and they also delivered the feet of the bed.

Delivery guy tried to bully me into…

Delivery guy tried to bully me into paying extra because the bed was "not by the front door", despite me having paid £100 already for delivery and disposal of the old bed. Really horrible experience and D4U hasnt even bothered to call me back to discuss my concerns.

Great communication and service

The beds that I purchased from Comfybedss were delivered by d4u company. Very good communication, very accommodating in organising the delivery. The two delivery men helped to carry the bed to the first floor.
Overall great delivery service. Thank you d4u :)

Really excellent service from D4U NORTH and COMFYBEDSS

I bought two beds from ComfyBedss which were delivered by D4U North company. I am very impressed with the service D4U provided. I am sad that I failed to ask the names of the delivery men to specifically thank them in feedback. They gave me regular updates about my scheduled delivery and I was very glad to have D4U North's real-time tracking map too, meaning I could see where the deliveries had got to and what number in the schedule my delivery was. It couldn't have been more efficient. I was concerned they might not find us in our rural location but the app they used got them straight to our door . In addition they called to confirm timing 20 minutes they were due to arrive. My family and I were very happy with the service. A smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish.

Great job guys

All correspondence was clear and the link I received the day of delivery easy to use, able to see where driver was . Received a call 15 mins prior to arriving at my house. Waited while items checked. Great job guys.

Total non drlivery

Company great. Delivery partners they use let them down. Be warned. Placed a large order for our holiday let cottage and made arrangements for someone to be at the property from 6.30am on a Saturday morning to take delivery. Several calls to both Comfybeds and D4U who they use confirmed the time slot and stressed the importance of the delivery as guests are booked in for the delivery evening for a week. At 8.17pm the night before, we received this email. All offices closed! Not impressed and order may now have to be cancelled.

Efficient and friendly delivery

I bought a mattress from Sleepstyle.co.uk and the delivery was by D4U North. The D4U North delivery men were efficient and friendly. They took my heavy king size mattress up 2 flights of stairs (no lift available) and placed it in my room of choice. I had regular updates about my scheduled delivery and on the day of delivery was sent a link to a real-time tracking map which meant I could see where the delivery men were at all times - very handy! Got a text from them 15 minutes before they were due to arrive too. Very happy with the service. A smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish.

2 people delivered and one of them was…

2 people delivered and one of them was extremely rude. Was insistent I had to sign for the delivery before checking it was okay. Even threatened to take the items back. When I read the small print to the delivery person which clearly stated I was signing to say I had checked the delivery was undamaged she huffed and puffed and complained that I had wasted 10 minutes of her time making her late and that she wouldn’t be paid for that time. As soon as I had signed she left and muttered rudely under her breath.

Professional delivery

Quick delivery today. They gave me a 4 hour delivery slot. They rang 30minutes before delivery. 2 men took the bed upstairs for me. Very polite and friendly.
Would definitely use again.
