Working with Datapacket has been an absolute pleasure! I used their IP-Transit service with DDoS protection in Warsaw, and everything worked flawlessly. The service is extremely stable, latency... See more

They're very helpful, accomodating and easy to talk to. I recommend giving them a try, You wont regret it.
By the way, Ondra deserves a bottle of beer.
Great options for powerful bare metals.
Fast interconnected network for server to server communication.
Really great experience with sales/support. I'm always kept up to date and given detailed information about the progress of new server deployments and troubleshooting. Top notch service.

Great attitude and flexibility of DataPacket's specialists made our interaction successful even though we had to overcome technical difficulties and some odds were against us. The company is reliable, has a wide selection of products to choose from and knows how to keep the situation under control even when things do not go exactly as expected. My experience is very positive and I can only recommend to do business with DataPacket.

I'm a DataPacket customer for long years now. I'm interested mainly in physical servers worldwide, I think we passed 100 servers by now... Anyway, with DP it's a breeze; solid servers, excellent tier 1 & 2 connections, absolutely never I had server or connection issue related to DP.
And then is a cherry on top; customer service... it's just superb. As a person who contacts and deals with many providers, there is a huge gap between DP and others.
Keep it up!

We have tested the Tokyo Location, and we are having a much better experience than HKG, so we are updating the review here.
[Network]
(-) No Always-On DDoS Protection: the 10 second mitigation or detection does not always work properly. Sometimes the attack traffic just bypass ( not being detected ) or just failed to mitigate, the leaked traffic can up to a few Gbps.
(-) Not fully satisfied network in Asia: Datapacket mostly using NTT and TATA in Asia, we have experienced some issue in HKG, which NTT routes traffic to Osaka when connecting with Some of the Taiwan Network Providers. NTT is working fine in Tokyo, so we are moving our server from HKG to TYO. We are now satisfied with the network, but we are still afraid of NTT having any problem in both HKG and TYO in the future.
(+) Large uplink: Datapacket can provide you large unshared uplink up to 2×100 GE, this helps a lot when we are mitigating the leaked traffic by ourselves.
Expectation in the future:
=> When dealing with DDoS, ask customer for packet capture, then investigate what is the problem, and improve the ddos protection shield if possible.
=> Tell the customer clearly what you guys can offer in the advanced ddos protection, are you guys able to deploy any custom filtering or mitigation techniques or third party solutions ?
[Customer Support & Services]
(-) The response time in Ticket/ Skype varies, with some instances of impressively quick responses within a few minutes. The overall average response time tends to be a few hours, which is totally acceptable. However, there have been a few times where I did not receive a reply within a day. This can be a bit frustrating, especially when assistance is needed.
(-) The execution time by the engineers is also inconsistent. It appears to depend on their workload for the day. There are times when the service is efficient, but the variability in execution time, with a minimum wait time of around 1 - 2 days.
(-) Sales and Engineers only work on weekdays, but not weekend or holidays. This limitation in weekend availability may be a concern for customers who require immediate support during non-standard business hours.
(+) 24/7 Support in online chat, you can get a response instantly but the support is quite limited. If you need help with the Engineer or Network team, you have to open a ticket and wait longer.
(+) They offer free transfers to another region in case of problems and efficiently deploy servers through online chat support. This flexibility showcases their commitment to providing effective solutions.
Expectation in the future:
=> response faster & more actively
=> provide supports during weekend
[Charging Fees for ACL firewall rules]
ACL firewall rules are only provided once for free during the initial setup, and you'll be charged $50 every time you want to change the rules. So if you want to open or close a port with the firewall rules, it'll cost you $50. Every time you make a change, you are charged.
Expectation in the future:
=> Customize the firewall on dashboard
=> Offer firewall or ACL rules modification for free through ticket

Amazing bare metal server provider!
After several years of switching bare metal providers, we finally settled for DataPacket.com, and we have stayed with them for quite some time. Their service and support are prompt and outstanding.

If you're looking for reliable server hosting, you're at the right place. I've been using DataPacket for the last 3 years and got to say, I've ZERO problems with it. It is surprising to see a reliable data centre.
Their support team is really efficient and special thanks to Nikol for listening and taking care of the issues.
Cheers.

DataPacket is truly excellent at everything they do. The servers are high-quality, the response time is rapid, and you're always in the loop. Absolutely excellent, would recommend.

I used DataPacket almost 1 year ago looking to change from my hosting provider due to lack of expansion options, but I was having issues with DDoS attacks freezing my server interrupting business and was forced to change back providers. Now I've tried again to use DataPacket and their protection hasn't improved much at all. In a previous review they said they were already implementing my suggestions and gave an estimate of Q1 2023, and end of 2022 but both of those dates are long past and neither one of my suggestions has been implemented. I'm yet again forced to change my provider back. DataPacket has awesome support and locations, but I cannot use them due to poor DDoS protection.
I'm just going to have to wait to switch to them until they take DDoS Protection seriously by implementing a firewall in the dashboard, and adding L7 application filters with always-on protection instead of the 10 second mitigation time that never works properly.

Very good quality of service, the advertised Internet speed is present, the plus is that there is a way to be billed at the 95th percentile. Datapacket's routes are excellent (we are a French company) and we can reach the most well-known French ISPs in a few ms. The support is very responsive and understanding, it changes from some competitors. To be honest, I have rarely seen a very high speed server host with such quality of service. I recommend.

Working with DataPacket as a corporate customer was probably the best experience I received from a tech company in a while. Ondra and the team were impeccably polite and helpful, solving many quite specific requests we asked of them.
For a reference, we rented dedicated hardware with custom NICs and additional IPs and asked them to optimize the machine for lowest possible latency to a specific datacenter in Japan, which DataPacket team did quite well.

I like the satisfactory customer support and predictable pricing. But where datapacket really shines is their network. They are by far the best provider in terms of pps, latency, and routing. They also offer mitigation for volumetric DDoS attacks at no extra cost.
If you're looking for perfection, don't hesitate to choose them.

I recently experienced exceptional customer service, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude. I've been working with this company for about a year. DataPacket is constantly improving, and this speaks volumes about their leadership and commitment toward excellent customer service. Their commitment to service excellence shines through even during the most challenging of times, where they go above and beyond to deliver impeccable solutions that exceed expectations.
But in terms of service, there is nobody in the market like DataPacket. There is nowhere you can find such opportunity to build excellent services, such as with their big network ports for affordable prices.
DataPacket provides excellent service to its customers and its customers' customer. Excellent products that pioneer markets, such as DP, raise the standard of quality for everyone around them. I am building better products thanks to DataPacket. This company, as cheesy as it may sound, contributes to the betterment of the world.
