Avoid like the plague
Avoid like the plague! I used this company for freight forwarding and they are completely hapless. They promise you one thing and deliver nowhere near expectations. On instructions I drove all the way to Southampton (3 hours) to pick up a consignment only to be told it's not ready. Wasted journey, wasted cost of van hire and time off work. Nearly 2 weeks later my delivery is cancelled on the actual day after I'd taken time off work. This is after charging me extra for a smaller truck (yes smaller) with a tail lift. the final joke was confirming delivery on a Friday and delivery turns up on Thursday when I'm at work. You can't make up shocking customer service like this. How they operate is beyond me. Just avoid

Absolutely hopeless
Having dealt with other forwarding companies. All have been useful and attentive.
I have been utterly disappointed and let down by Daygard due to their poor communication and calling their office is a pain in the back side. I had a query and needed to speak to a specific staff but was transferred 4 times before reaching someone who could deal with my query.
So it was my fault for not contacting them in time to clear my consignment but their phone was down for the whole day.
Paid for storage charges and had to chase them constantly for the details of where to pick up my consignment. Everytime I called. I was told in the next half an hour, 10 minutes. But its the next day now. No signs of any emails
Don't use them!
