DAZN is the definition of corporate greed. I'm a former long-term user of their NFL Game Pass service, and every year, without fail, they increase the subscription fee to ridiculous amounts for the exact same service. There are far better alternatives to DAZN. Don't feed their greed!

Bad experience
I made a mistake when I subscribed to DAZN. I accidentally chose the annual plan, when I actually only needed one month to watch the World Cup.
When they charged me the following month, I contacted customer support because I realized my mistake. They told me that with this plan I had to pay for the full 12 months, which is impossible for me because I don't use the service anymore.
I asked them to switch me to the monthly plan and simply charge me for one month, but they refused. After arguing with customer support for more than 30 minutes, they finally agreed to cancel the annual plan.
What disappoints me the most is not the mistake I made, but the way they treated me. Everyone can make a mistake. Whenever I've made similar mistakes with other companies, customer support has listened and tried to find a reasonable solution.
I wasn't trying to avoid paying or get something for free. I was happy to pay for the month I actually needed. I simply expected a little understanding and flexibility. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience I had with DAZN.
I will never subscribe to DAZN again. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. Good customer service means treating customers with understanding when they make an honest mistake, and unfortunately, DAZN failed to do that.

Absolutely shocking how these people…
Absolutely shocking how these people are getting away with this. They have the option to buy the event for £24.99 and as long as you cancel within a week you are not bound to a subscription. So I bought the fight and then literally that same night after the fight cancelled the subscription so I don’t forget. This was back in April, only just noticed by chance today they are still taking the £24.99 out of my bank each month.
I have gone in and cancelled again as actually contacting these cowboys is impossible. So I’ve had to cancel and raise a case via PayPal.
They’re very clever because they don’t even send out cancellation emails.
I wouldn’t trust these bar Stewart’s as far as I can throw them.

SCAM ! Not only was I charged £14.99 twice for one event 5 weeks and still waiting a refund . But now I’ve found out I’ve paid £25.99 for 2 months now and they can’t “locate “ the payments to refund yet I have sent clear proof of payments taken from my account ! Subscriptions rip-off
Signed up to watch Fury v Hall, and was given 7 days free (which was fair enough I thought). Saw a charge for £25.99 come through a month after that, and was told that "I had not cancelled the free trial so I was now on a monthly plan".
DAZN finally capitulated and said they would refund me after offering "not to charge me next month too" as a goodwill gesture!
Watch out for the small print with this lot. They really do need to drop the sharp practices here (and improve the stalling and buffering during big events).

Terrible service with awful…
Terrible service with awful subscription cancellation options. You have to click through 50 windows begging you to stay, and then, when you think you're finally done, you have to speak with someone and listen to all the amazing opportunities you're missing. After all that, you even have to pay an extra fee to cancel your subscription.

They make cancellation impossible
When trying to cancel your account, they take you through a long process, where you have to talk to one of their support agents - who is an AI bot, and it takes around 20 mins to cancel their subscription. SHADY stuff!

I just canceled the subscription to learn that there's a 30 day cancellation notice such that they're going to bill me for another month again??? 50 euros to watch the world cup was already too much but now they legally scammed me to pay the double price without that I knew it. I usually try to pay attention to all small written things. Everything was tricky regarding understanding payments from beginning to the end. It's an extremely predatory company. Honestly, this is the worst subscription cancellation process I’ve ever seen.
You can’t simply cancel it from your account. You have to call them or contact support via chat, wait for an agent, and even when you clearly say, “Cancel my subscription,” DAZN keeps you in the chat trying to sell you more offers.
And the best part? Even after you cancel, there’s a 30-day notice period. So my subscription is cancelled, but they can still charge me again because cancellation is not immediate.

Extremely disappointing experience with DAZN Bet
On 16 March 2026, I contacted DAZN Bet regarding two unsettled winning bets with a total stake of £150. My account balance of £509.49 was returned to me, but the winnings from these two bets were withheld without any clear explanation.
Over the following months, I repeatedly contacted customer support requesting an update. Each time I received the same generic response that the investigation was still ongoing. No evidence, no estimated completion date, and no meaningful information have ever been provided.
In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable. Holding a customer’s money for months without transparency or a reasonable timeframe is not how a licensed gambling operator should treat its customers.
The UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill, while the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 prohibit unfair commercial practices and misleading omissions. Furthermore, the UK Gambling Commission’s Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) require operators to treat customers fairly and to handle complaints in a transparent manner.
Despite numerous emails, I still have not received a proper explanation as to why these specific bets remain under investigation or when the matter will finally be resolved.
I sincerely hope DAZN Bet resolves this issue promptly. Until then, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. If the matter continues to be ignored, I will have no choice but to escalate it to the appropriate regulatory bodies and share my experience publicly.
