On the payment page I had to verify identity I said ok for security reasons.
After almost a week I was approved but when I placed an order I had to verify the account again
I contacted their customer service which exists but doesn't really help and says to wait patiently
It's just sad that it's so cumbersome to order from there
They have a lot to learn from other platforms

My experience with DHgate has been pretty good overall. They offer a huge selection of products at really great prices, and most of my orders arrived pretty quickly. The quality of the items was mostly as described, and the sellers were responsive whenever I had questions. Sometimes shipping took a bit longer than I expected, but for the most part, it was worth it for the savings. I’d definitely recommend DHgate if you’re looking for good deals and don’t mind waiting a little bit for your order.

I was sent the completey wrong item. They refused to refund me as they had released the money to the seller. The store was closed before I received my item. The seller never responded to any of my messages. DHGate do accept I received the wrong item which is crazy. But refuse to refund without the seller whose store is now closed confirming it's ok to refund. I would avoid not with the hassle. I contacted the team as suggested but still nothing.

I purchased 7 qty RSL badminton shuttlecock for $160, but I received counterfeit. The seller only wanted to refund $100. So I asked DHgate to help. They provided 2 options. None of them are full refunds. I purchased 7 of them. They only allowed me to return 4 for $97.87. The other option is to keep the counterfeit and refund only $39.15.
The quality is so bad. They are no use to me. I don’t want to keep any of them. I want my money back.
They also try to intimidate you that return is hard process. Following is their word.
“Kindly note: If return for refund is chosen, you need to pre-pay the return shipping fee and keep good of the receipt. Return shipping fee will be reimbursed after the package has been received by the seller, it normally takes about 30-40 days to get the refund. Also it may be lost or damaged then we will have a hard time processing the refund. No matter which offer you prefer, we will respect your choice.”
Don’t ever buy from DHgate. Dishonest seller (jia09) and company. They helped themselves, not buyer. Amazon didn’t sell RSL #7. Otherwise, I would have purchased from Amazon, trusted company!!!

I wish I could give zero stars. I purchased two items from DHGate. I day later I was up early and saw an email thanking me for my purchase. I looked and saw that my credit card had just been charged for two wallets. It had to be a seller because the items were being shipped to me. I had to cancel my credit card, get a new one, and update all of my regular charges. DHGate promptly closed my account and would no longer give me access to my account. Talk about a double insult! When I asked them why, they told me to remove the charge back. Of course, I couldn't as my info was stolen. I never gave them permission to store my credit card info, by the way.

I ordered 2 LV purses. Only one arrived. The one that arrived was falling apart when I got it. The 2nd one never arrived. They blocked me on their website so I can't even contact them. They are nothing but a scam. Do not buy from them.

I ordered eight watches but initially only one was delivered. Seller - laopo0901. DH Gate, however, helped me to ensure the outstanding seven were delivered. I want to believe it was an honest mistake. I will use DH Gate again in future, but unfortunately not the said seller. Thank you, DH Gate, for solving my dilemma.

I ordered a football kit from messijersey30 and when the package arrived it was in a Royal Mail damaged bag which was sealed by Royal Mail before delivering to me. The original package bag appears to have been ripped open and you can clearly see a small pink dress in the packaging as Royal Mail damage bags are see through. I did not open the Royal Mail damage bag as I wanted the vendor to see how the product came to me. I contacted both the vendor and DH-Gate and from the vendor got a smarmy reply about them not selling dresses so therefore I will not get a refund or replacement. I then escalated to DH-Gate who did absolutely nothing despite photo evidence of the product I received and said they are releasing the money to the vendor. This item has been tampered with on route to me which is down to the vendor as it is they who use whatever intermediaries to get the item to me which like I say has been tampered with and I have now not received my item or my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL FOB YOU OFF AND ARE NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTATED IN ANY WAY. Like most on here I wish I could give 0 stars as they are that bad. Stead well clear!

ioojhgff another bag store on DHgate. this Seller sent me a USPS Fake parcel that was empty. Once Again I got Scammed. Seller harassed me for additional funds by text from my shipping info. my Bank stopped Payment till proof of actual shipping. to get payment released Seller FedEx Next day Delivery of a poor quality Fake PU bag, NOT genuine leather as describe. Second time scammed on DHgate, had to get bank involved after receiving fake delivery of empty parcel again. Order# 310413085918

I ordered a couple of bags to try the service. It took more than 6 weeks for the items to be delivered. And that would not have happened if I didn’t contact the seller repeatedly asking to provide me with the shipment details and the name/number of the courier. Furthermore, the tracking information (if you could call it that), was in Chinese.

So after more than 6 weeks of waiting, the shipment finally arrived and the item I ordered was not as described (leather), it is fake leather. Not only that, they sent the wrong color. I ordered ebony, I received dark brown.
It was a terrible experience overall. Extremely disappointing.
Never will I use or recommend this site again. EVER.

DHgates say they sell mossianite diamonds in tennis chains and jewelry, well I'm here to inform you this is a lie they actually send you zircon gems that are cheaper than mossianite stones.Just like social media don't believe what people say in another country, they don't get in trouble for false advertisement they just think we are all stupid..

Bought a couple of things that were fine then boaught a sampsung tablet that didnt work properly and definitely fake. Also bought a canada goose coat that was poor quality and definitely fake. Tried to return, sent evidence and customer service just say ‘evidence not sufficient’ and close your case. Absolutely shocking - avoid!!

Hello my dear people I want to talk today about my scary experience on this website I bought shoes for 20 dollars and when they arrived there was no logo on them and someone had injected their personal white sauce into them well now at least I know I have good taste and style kids work well as almost all the stars everything broke after two weeks but I kept it because of the sauce (extra customer service)

I have ordered 2 bags that l am happy with to be fair..but it says the 3rd l ordered says it has been delivered and it has NOT and they are not replying, l hope they reply here as l have ordered another item today and another a week ago so there are 3 pieces expected the one l have a query with that is not being answered by the store worryingly says it has been delivered which is not true

I came across DHGate whilst searching for a good price for an item that I wanted to buy - it was a little too good, perhaps but I have bought grey imports at a fraction of UK retail prices before and I saw no reason why a Chinese company might not be able to sell Chinese goods cheaper than they are sold in the UK.

I was a bit surprised to find that I already had an account saved in my password manager but unfortunately, the only record I had for a transaction was a fairly considerable refund 12 years ago.

I ordered the item on 3rd March in the belief that if I got a refund previously, if there was a problem, it shouldn't be difficult to get a refund again.

Almost immediately, I sensed a problem because the item was not marked as dispatched until after I had nagged the seller and the tracking number the system gave me seemed to be 'inactive' for want of a better word. Again, I nagged the seller who gave me another tracking number which seemed to lag whatever the current date was by seven days with vague statuses until it finally stalled towards on 22nd March.

I raised an issue with DHGate and to my surprise, got a refund within two days - which is the only reason that this review has one more than the minimum one star. However, because their transactions are in $US, I lost a couple of quid.

I'm guessing that this experience reflected in many ways what happened 12 years ago and it begs the question what was the point of putting myself through this painful exercise? And why on earth
I would bother again.

I wouldn't recommend DHGate and frankly wonder how it is still going considering that nothing seems to have improved in twelve years.

Do not trust them! You will not get what is advertised. They don't understand that it matters that you get what you see. It takes weeks to try to get your money back and that's if you get it back. They do not accept PayPal so they think they can play around with your money without fear. Please pay attention to the ratings here; I wish I had. Their website does not work well with uploading proof, so what you submit as proof they may not get because of code error 404 all over parts of the website because of bad links. I have been arguing with one seller in particular Redbud06 to get my money back for weeks. That was my last purchase from them.

This site is a marketplace (i.e. many others sell trough it) and you can easily hit CRIMINALS and SCAMMERS sending out complete garbage.
Then when you discover that they DO NOT REFUND even they know they sell garbage. There is NO GUARANTEE of any sort.
On the other hand DHGATE FULLY SUPPORTS THAT, doesn't care about the negative effects (so it seems this is their business plan) and does not provide any details of the subsellers and protect their criminal actions.
Conclusion: DO NOT RISK TO BE SCAMMED and avoid it. There are at least two (aliexpress.com and temu.com) that sell the same things, while at the same time they have full customer protection against criminal sellers/scammers.

I have never had such a bad experience in the bio of the seller it says exceptional customer service and refund available the seller kept arguing back calling me a liar stating I received all 3 bracelets when I only received 1. The shop is called jewelery99888 avoid at all costs they don’t listen and are rude. Asking me to send me a video of me unboxing as evidence who films themselves opening a package.
