I only wanted to buy a one-time 10-day Austrian vignette, but I was unknowingly signed up for a monthly subscription. My card was charged for two additional months without my consent, and if I hadn't noticed, they'd still be charging me fees.

I have contacted customer support to cancel the subscription and request a refund.

I strongly recommend buying your vignette only from the official asfinag.at website to avoid these issues.

Very disappointing experience. I needed to buy an Austrian vignette quickly while traveling, so I purchased a one-time 10-day vignette. Later I discovered that I have been enrolled in a monthly subscription, and my card was charged again in the following 3 months without me realizing it.

In the check-out they put you in subscription without you realizing it. Especially when you're trying to complete the purchase quickly from your car before continuing your journey. I would never have knowingly signed up for a recurring subscription.
Use the official asfinag.at website. That is legitimate and trustworthy!

I've contacted customer support requesting a cancellation and a refund, and I'm currently waiting for their response. I hope they resolve this fairly, but I encourage others to carefully check every step of the checkout process before purchasing.

I strongly advise everyone to be extremely careful before purchasing from this website.

I bought what I believed was a one-time motorway vignette, only to discover later that I was being charged the same amount every month. At no point did I intentionally sign up for a recurring subscription, and the automatic monthly payments came as a complete surprise.

After searching online, I found that many other customers report the exact same experience. Whether this is technically hidden in the terms or not, the subscription is simply not presented in a clear and transparent way. A service dealing with motorway vignettes should make recurring charges impossible to miss.

I have now cancelled the subscription, but I still consider this a very misleading business practice. If you're only looking to buy a single vignette, double-check everything before entering your payment details. Otherwise, you may end up paying every month without realizing it.

I would not use this service again and cannot recommend it.

They are charging several times after you buy once. i guess it is a subscription, but its very shady pattern and not a pleasant experience. Support is working very slowly. I suggest buying from off gov sites.

The website gives the impression that you are buying a normal one-time Austrian digital vignette. After making the purchase, we started being charged €12.80 every month. This was not clear to us at the time of purchase, and we did not understand that we were entering into any kind of monthly subscription or recurring payment.

We contacted their customer support several times and asked them to cancel the recurring charges and refund the payments taken after the original purchase. Instead of helping, they keep sending the same generic reply, saying that the order was placed with a different email address. We have already contacted them from the possible email addresses connected to the payment/order, but they still do not provide any real solution.

They also do not offer a clear way to identify the payment by transaction ID, payment date, receipt, or payment provider reference. This makes it extremely difficult for a customer to cancel or resolve the issue, while the monthly charges continue.

In my opinion, this is very misleading. Customers may believe they are buying a one-time vignette, but later find out that recurring monthly payments are being taken.

Be very careful before using this website. Always check if there is any subscription or recurring payment hidden in the process. I have reported the issue to my bank/payment provider and will also report it to consumer protection if necessary.

I purschased 10 days vignette. but i noticed that after 2 months I have a subscription. and I dont have any invoice. to calcel Im still waiting for their feedback. this is scamming , nothing else.
