Avoid using this company!
I have rarely given a review on an opinion site but if there was a zero star rating this company would get it!
I am still waiting on a refund for a cancelled flight from the beginning of March. I have lost count of the number of emails exchanged and still no further forward.
They have got my refund sitting in the bank over 8 weeks ago from Ryanair but won't pass it on to me!
I appreciate that the travel industry are finding it hard, we all all but the lies and deceit tactics this company uses will not help it survive.

Still waiting for this refund??
Still waiting for this refund??? I am from a credit management background and am considering taking a SCC action so that the CCJ appears on the company file Once again I reiterate the contract is with Directline
Eventually I will get a refund from my CC company however that is not the point!! i am being mislead
Awful
Awful. Avoid at all costs.
They pretend to be the airlines direct website and sneak in a service charge which is essentially for nothing. When you need them they are completely unhelpful and rude.
Never use Directline-flights.
Please don't book with Directline-flights.i made a big mistake booking with them.I didn't realise they charge a lot in fees. Now the flight is cancelled due to coronavirus and I don't get any of that fee back. Not even a percentage.
I made the mistake of booking a flight…
I made the mistake of booking a flight through this thorougly sleezy organisation.
Now the flights are cancelled because of Coronavirus. I e- mailed them and and the email was returned!
My booking does not appear on my easyjet account!!
Has anyone ever sued them?

Please, please, please, book your flight with a different company
I entered my starting point, Birmingham and destination, Edinburgh.
All this is in bold letters on the left in the destination search. I booked it in good faith and noticed my confirmation stated that I was flying from Bristol. I never typed Bristol at any time. Apparently what they do to "Help you" is to show the nearest available flight for the date. To cancel 5 minutes later cost me £48.00 this included their £15.00 set up fee, which they don't advertise until you click buy. Please please do not use this company. As others have said it's a very unpleasant experience. Use sky-scanner or Tui or Opodo, anybody but these people. It is true that there was a yellow sign above the booking saying this airport has no availability but when you are looking at your search terms on the same booking page and showing you the available flights why would you go looking for signs. If I had a choice I would not use Easy-jet either. They are party to this.
Great service and friendly people
We have always booked with Directlinefights. As elderly technophobes we like the fact that they checked us in for the flights and printed all our boarding passes. This saved me a trip to the library to print them off.

Absolute rip off merchants!
Absolute rip off merchants!! Stay away and use skyscanner.
I booked a weekend away in Amsterdam in a 4star hotel and got flights separately with these jokers. They booked my outbound and inbound flights on the same day at the end of the weekend instead of either side of the weekend. They then blamed me for the error and said to move the flight to Amsterdam to the Friday it would cost over £400 or to completely rebook it would be £660. That is on top of the £225 i had already paid. I went online and found the same one way flight to amsterdam for £57 per person. It took 30 minutes to get through to their emergency line and was a complete waste of time. STAY AWAY.

Scam
Scam, booked with them thinking it was the actual airlines website, took £50 quid admin fee for nothing
Also strange that the reviews are either bad or excellent, I think the excellent reviews are false

Crooks they sell tickets and then get…
Crooks they sell tickets and then get refunded by airline company.
I was stranded in Spain with my child and had to sleep at airport.
I feel absolutely conned
I feel absolutely conned. I have never booked a flight directly before. When I googled Easy Jet I clicked on the first site which came up as it stated Easy Jet flights. After booking I was confused when I got bombarded with e-mails from a company called Directline flights. I double checked and I am now kicking myself that I have been duped into booking through a middleman. I have priced the same flights through Easyjet and now realise I have paid £140.00 more (£780 instead £640) for absolutely nothing in return - just to hand money to a company who is effectively misleading people to their website on the back of Easy Jet. They still direct you to Easy Jet to print off your tickets etc so they are just creaming £140 of my hard earned cash for nothing. I feel that Google has really let me down as well. I'm usually pretty internet savvy so god help elderly people or those not used to these ploys. I feel absolutely conned. It seems no matter how hard you try to avoid these leeches that they are always able to be one step ahead. Another expensive lesson learnt for me! All I can do is post this review and hope I save even just one person from making the same mistake as me.

Excellent Customer Service
Whilst it's true that you do pay an admin fee (for example booking Easyjet flights via them rather then direct with Easyjet) my recent experience has been if there's a problem their customer service is second to none. For example sent them an email 7pm yesterday evening and received a response 8am today offering a fully explained solution to the issue. Would definitely book with Directline Flights again because of this.

Had booked flights with them
Had booked flights with them
Flights were thomas cook..
Got to our destination ok 24hrs later no more Thomas cook... was kept up to date by direct line flights and allocated a flight back at end of holiday communication was excellent throughout by email
Scam site masquerading as genuine airline sites
This site masquerades as a booking site for airlines. However they are just an agency, who do nothing more than take a booking fee.
Don't be scammed by them - go to the genuine airline sites instead and save yourself £50.
Excellent company to deal with
Easy to book and were excellent when I needed to cancel. I had booked flights to and from New York Manchester with Thomas Cook. Two days after booking the friend I was going to visit died. Directline arranged the refund of the taxes paid and I know they telephoned TC to arrange this. Very friendly service
Not real
Not real! my antivirus software stopped me from using this website it blocked it as it was unsafe. Having looked further into it I believe that this is not a real website and would not recommend using it.
This website looked like I was booking with easyJet but it was a third party flight
