Shady advertising said I'd get free boosts with a paid account. Signed up. Nope, that's only for the EXPENSIVE account. First refund support ticket mysteriously disappears. Second is denied because it's outside their FIVE DAY REFUND WINDOW. Also, a charge back through your bank (i.e. a rational party who will review the evidence and respond appropriately) will result in a permanent ban.
In essence they're blackmailing me for $30 for a premium account that has zero actual benefits, or give up the friendships and communities I've spent a decade building.
I knew they were having problems lately, but this kind of anti-consumer policies and actions aren't going to help.
Support inefficiency.
I was permanently banned for "Child Safety", I wasn't even able to REQUEST A SINGLE HUMAN RESPONSE. Every single time I wanted to appeal, the support was being led by AI.
What a disappointment, especially when these kind of big companies (like discord) rely on ACTUAL HUMANS, instead of training AI bots to moderate their services.
AI Slop, corporate greed
Been using Discord for 10 years now and recently they started heavily using AI to read every little activity you do, which is a huge privacy concern. And AI falsely flagging accounts. (See x.com, Reddit, even trustpilot for information on this) This is not an isolated case, very wide spread.
Trying to talk to support never works because you will be met with an AI response there as well.

I have been a discord user for nearly 5 years now (since 2021), and the experience has NEVER been this horrible. It's been pretty great before, but now I've been trying to reset my password, because I FORGOT IT. it does not let me. it tells me to "authenticate with passckey or security..." Which throws an error. that's the only thing I have to verify it's really me using my freaking account. How the hell am I supposed to get my account if IT DOESN'T WORK??? besides that, changing the upload limit (happened a bit ago) also annoys me because of the fact most memes I used to send to my friends are a little over 10mb. I am not paying them anything because they're genuinely a horriffic company. maybe if they fix atleast one of those things.

Made my whole pc freeze on a black screen when i tried to share my screen. I waited a few minutes yet it never resolved itseld, so i turned to resetting my PC. It worked, however something discord did corrupted some of my files, making them completely invalid. I can't get those files back ever.

Despite submitting multiple requests to recover my Discord account, I have not received any response from the support team. The only reply I received was an automated message from a bot, and no further assistance has been provided.
I understand that support teams may be handling a high volume of inquiries; however, the lack of follow-up or communication has been quite disappointing. I would greatly appreciate a more responsive and user-focused support experience.

Hacked account, no service due to bots only on support, contradictory suggestions for support
I have submitted ticket 64043526 and 64004101. I have attached multiple screenshots explaining the situation and covering in substantial detail that I discovered over time that my email address was originally compromised which led to the account being logged out of discord.
The account is Vega Saturn, user id is Vega#7678. Your "bot" tells me to just "try the forgot password link" as if I havent already done so. I explained that the account has been most likely hacked. Every time I enter the email address or phone number it says neither exists on my account. Your bot says "if the process above does not work reply using your email address"

Dont bother contacting real people on Facebook, they claim they're the social team and can't help but somehow they have access to your support tickets and say they can't disclose information based on what was being asked on the tickets. Completely misunderstood that I wasn't asking for my login information, I stated my login information has been changed and im trying to reset and they can't provide a clear answer or solution of helping even when they have the resources and access to look into it. Completely lazy to be honest.
