Ever since they added ai moderation this platform has gone to shit

Sent an email requesting details of my data was breeched and got no response. Also their discord support forms use username and password, how out-dated are you just alow us to connect through our discord account like literally every other website on the internet.

I have a bug that is critical to the platform and its users and I can't be bothered to create yet another account just to report the issues.

I've been a nitro supporter since 2020, any more issues and im unsubscribing.

Are you trying to make people leave your platform on purpose? Suddenly literally NOTHING works. Chats are being sent to the wrong group. Audio is randomly muted in voice. Pictures won't send. I can't even host streams anymore without getting booted out of screensharing. This is inexcusable. Cancelling my subscription, and finding a platform that isn't nearly as sh**ty. Fortunately, the bar is very low.

They ban you for no reason (in fact it's so easy to get people banned that I have gotten 50 people false banned already by searching for key words and spam reporting) not to mention if you get banned and you have nitro it gets lost, disable your account for "spam", they spy on you constantly, the app is full of CP and of course this is the only thing reports don't work on, you can't do ANYTHING on this app or you get banned by their garbage AI (or just mentally slow admins) its TRASH. As of writing this I have gotten 49 of my accounts banned this should tell you everything about discord and forget about appealing because they take almost 3 weeks to respond at best only to tell you sorry we can't do anything every single time.

I got falsely banned from Discord. They just used bots to handle customer service and copy paste answers to reply, not actually reading my appeals at all.

I have never used Discord, but I dont allow my kids to use it. I read several reports of misuse and illegal activities. I just heard of 2 cases in Brazil of life streaming animal torture. The company needs to start .monitoring this platform. There are a lot of sick people in tis world.

This app was the go to for communities back then in 2021-2023, but after 2023, they became a soulless greedy cash grab, and they introduced an ugly ui for mobile that they refuse to kill. Please stop using this app and cancel their subscriptions if you don't own servers, Unfortunately I own servers.
It was okay until March 2025, when they rolled out their new corporate redesign for desktop and started to break the old clients HARD every 2nd. This was the beginning of the super dark age. Then they went on and on, killing more of the old clients, and then they went full greed mode, by forcing end to end encryption on almost all voice activities. This happened on march 2nd, they killed the old versions along with the old ui, greedy scum bags, they keep breaking the old versions to this day, either on the 2nd or the 15th.
They also forced the age verification update so they can fully kill stages, teens are forced to use voice channels. And they collect so much data.
AND never update past v126 or v205, use client mods to destroy these greedy scumbags, waste their resources and bandwidth by spamming, treat discord worse than your worst enemy, and spread THE NEWS, sign petitions #canceldiscord.

I signed up to Discord last week and joined two servers but hadn't got around to posting yet. Apparently that was too much activity for Discord, because a few days later, my account was disabled for alleged spam.

Clearly something's gone wrong here, and I want to appeal the decision. But when I tried to submit a support ticket, I found Discord has also blocked my IP address from its support platform.

They've accused me of something I quite obviously haven't done, and taken away my option to appeal.

Discord has been very very poor lately. Bad connection, and laggy for everyone I've asked so far.

With the amounts of money you earn, you should consider getting some better servers, or people will find alternatives.

It corrupted and every time I started my computer it would open box after box after box with multiple errors. Couldn’t fix, couldn’t uninstall or delete. Had to throw it out and buy a new one. Garbage!

Several years ago, I had my Google Mail account terminated because hackers tried to use it for pirating. One STUPID thing about Discord security is their very nonsensical logic to change your account email ; you can't change your email if you do not have access to your previous email address for confirmation. Just one single point of failure if you loose your email and your account is gone. Yes, despite having your phone number linked, security keys, etc.
Even beyond that, the support is incapable of helping you because of their Safety Policy even if you have all the proofs that can show your account owner. They will give you the same answer in loop because they're just like robots who don't have any appeals to the users of their app.

Today, my Discord account randomly ask for password reset and I just lost my account. I had a tons of meaning full files, friends and server access that I will either never found again or take a tremendous amount of time to restore again on a new account.

So thanks to Discord and their unhelpful service.

Discord support is an actual piece of shit.
They denied my request to change my old email because it got deleted, and I can’t get the verification code to change it myself although I gave them every proof of ownership.
After asking the exact reason why it’s not possible, they just ignored me.

I am completely against this company using AI, the irinfringement on my privacy, and how any potential data stolen will be used to training more AI and fund more corruption. I vehemently stand against this. Do better as a company and have some genuine empathy and compassion.

Misuse of personal data? Data leaks? Support that doesn't work? That's a perfect description of Discord. Find alternatives. This company doesn't care about its users, only about how to exploit you.

I left with 7 other servers the smallest server being 50+ people. I won't continue suporting a company that aims to destroy or rights to privacy, our rights to free speech and our rights to remain anonymous. I migrated all 7 servers to Valour.gg, this company is open source and vows to remain that way for future builds along with keeping little to no information on users aside their email and user names. This is what discord use to be, because they chose to spit in the users faces they are about to burn to the ground. Good bye forever Discord.

I love discord but I dont want AI to scan my face and have my data especially cause it's usually wrong Instead of actually banning the people that need banned you do this I now have to switch apps cause I wont be able to use this app anymore as I don't want y'all to literally have my face I mean its not only very easy to hack a company but easy to get into that info which I dont want next time listen to your community instead of companies who already got backlash for the AI scanning peoples face

This has to be the worst app ever. No support at all. All AI based too. It's impossible to get human support.
