The product is superb. Quality mask and spot-on in terms of the prescription lenses being accurately positioned (heights/ centres). And on top of that: First rate service from Liam and his team. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Dive Sight.
Absolutely first rate service
Absolutely first rate service I sent a Diving mask in to dive sight for corrective bifocal lenses a couple of months ago . It was sent back to me with the new lenses fitted in about ten days. The workmanship was of a very high quality. The lenses work very well underwater giving good crisp vision. Will definitely use this company again in the future
Dont wait - order today!
I has some queries when I ordered my mask as the specific model I wanted was listed twice, and I have a varifocal prescription which was quite expensive.
They quickly cleared up the mask question (and the answer was to order from the cheaper listing!) and for the lenses they suggested I get the distance part only and have it put in the top of the mask leaving e the option of getting another lens in the bottom at a later date if needed.
The mask was delivered in about 2 weeks with plenty of updates as they went along. It was well packed and the glazing is very tidy,
I really wish I'd done this years ago, it's made a huge improvement to my dive experience.
Avoid, very poor customer service.
Unfortunately this company appear unable to answer phone calls or email enquiries to follow up an order. Eventually found out the mask I had ordered from their online catalogue could not be supplied at all so requested a refund. Took more than 7 working days for the refund to appear and again had to chase several times by email. Overall from order to refund took almost 2 months and the sending of more than a dozen emails. Not impressed at all.
Dive sight - recommended
I sent my mask into Liam at Dive sight along with my prescription. The corrected lens mask is a 'gamechanger' for me I can now see both my gauges and the underwater environment. Highly recommend this service
Brilliant mask
The whole purchase was seamless. Great communication from Dive Sight made things easy. The product is perfect and our dream trip to dive with the mantas wouldn't have been the same without it.
Brilliant customer service
I was very unsure of what was the best way to go about getting a prescription mask for myself, Liam was very helpful in helping me choose a mask and even sent a couple of masks out for me to make a final decision on the best mask, this was a massive help. He was also there for any questions I had and finally I got to use the mask and it was absolutely brilliant so clear and a great fit. Thank you for the great journey I had getting the right mask would definitely recommend dive sight.
It was Well worth the wait.
After a considerable wait my Dive mask eventually arrived in time for my holiday to the Caribbean.
having had a mask with a spectacle frame held in place this was the first one with the prescription in the glass lens.
The difference it made when I eventually got to test it out in the open sea was astonishing.
It was like a whole new World of colour and with the improved clarity I could explore the seabed more easily to see what marine life there was. And what's more the lens didn't mist up once while wearing it.
Rarely respond to emails
Nice new mask, but not with the required Franklin lens on the right side, and with an unwanted bifocal on the left.
10% my fault, cos I did not specify Franklin on the order notes, but 90% Divesight fault cos they forgot my pre-order email, and subsequently ignored numerous emails making my requirements clear.
They just don't read, much less answer emails.
I hope they read this and save me the trouble of pursuing a refund through my credit card company. What about it, Liam?
No customer service or communication
I posted off my own mask to Dive Sight to add the lenses into. I knew the mask was received 2 days later. (It was sent recorded delivery and I could see online the picture taken by the postman). As I did not receive any update on the process from Dive Sight, I sent several emails and left several messages on their answer phone. No one contacted me until I initiated a chargeback via my bank (a month after ordering the mask)… Miraculously, I received an email from Dive Sight saying the mask would be in the post the next day. Coincidence…? I tried the mask and it is ok. I found the total absence of communication and customer service a very frustrating experience. If there was another company doing prescription masks in the UK, I would go elsewhere.
😡do not order if you want in time for a holiday!
Ordered 23rd October was told the colour mask wasn’t in stock and would be a couple of weeks. 6 weeks later no response to email so rang was told would be posted out arrived in wrong colour. No response to several emails finally got back end of December asked to return and that my postage cost would be refunded. Sent back 4th January. After several emails finally got the mask 10th February but no postage refund! Emailed
details to refund postage but no reply as of today 16th February. This company was recommended by a friend. I cannot recommend if you want a dive mask for your holiday make sure you order a year in advance!
Ordered 2 masks - non responsive communication
Ordered 2 masks - not even prescription - no response by either email or phone (customer services) about delivery. Just received standard emails from them and nothing about delivery. I'm about to request a refund from my card provider. Shame as communication costs little.
STOP PRESS - The masks just arrived, so I have changed from one star to four star. Still need better comms though - which is the easy part!
No mask-company not responding
Ordered my mask in early December 2023. It is the end for January 2024 and it is impossible to get Ian at Dive Sight to give me a shipping date. I am very frustrated with this company. Buyers beware!

The team took great care applying my prescription to my chosen diving mask. Having used it extensively on a diving holiday, I have been very impressed with the quality. Communication was great and it was delivered to me within the agreed date. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

I wrote a review a short while ago and gave just 1 star because I was frustrated at the lack of communication in terms of delivery and my dive trip was imminent. It seems Liam was involved in an industrial accident and hence the reason for the delay, that combined with the Christmas break. He got back to me as soon as I wrote my review explaining the circumstances and the mask arrived today. I haven't tried it in the 'field' yet, but will be doing so soon, but Liam delivered on his promise.
Beware of bad communication
Be careful! Liam disappeared with my money and my mask for several days, not answering e-mails, nor the phone. Beware! I only received my order after repeated warnings.
Top-notch end product
Top-notch end product. Well worth ordering. Ordered two last year. Franklin split. High-strength prescription.
The only thing I can fault is that Liam is probably a one-man show. So if you fall within the normal order life cycle you won't even notice. Just make sure that if you are using your mask. Send it in as soon as you place the order. Once the lenses are made they bond them directly to the mask glass. It's amazing and works very well.
One month from order time to get it back.
The normal communications and updates are very good. The minute you drop out of the normal process it becomes tricky as he is slow to respond to emails.
I assume that he must be swamped and does not have the time to spend going through hundreds of emails.
The product I've received is very good and has an excellent field of view. Can't fault it. Go for thinner lenses as offered.
Communication email, and telephone have been my greatest stress issue. And prevents me from giving a 5.
That being said. I would happily tolerate no communication as long as I got a great product at the end.
So my suggestion is to try and have your ducks in row when placing your order to keep it as straightforward as possible. You will get your mask!
Oh, and shave your mustache if you have one when you try the new mask at a shop. If it is not airtight when you are shaved it is not the right fit! This was an expensive lesson!
