Taste wasn’t good. I ordered Ghevar, which is primarily a regional sweet, so i had low expectations but the google pictures of the shop showed a good one. The one i got was very disappointing, i have never seen so much oil in a Ghevar in my life. That made it very soggy, and its supposed to be the opposite. I cannot imagine this could be bikaner royal family’s recipe, sorry to say. The other sweet was coconut laddu, again not sure what was mixed with coconut but didn’t taste good. Pricing is not an issue, to get something like this here in itself feels like luxury, but quality let it down for me. I really wished for them to taste good. Delivery took some time, but i guess we aren’t used to wait for sweets for a week so may be its that but if we are charging then should be faster. Order #1921

Best for Diwali delights and hampers

Dear Harminder. Thanks for your feedback. We received your order on 16th Oct. at 16.21 and shipped it on 19th Oct. for next-day delivery. In other words, three business days for processing. We have clearly indicated it on our website - https://divinebites.nl/support/
Considering all products are made fresh in the Netherlands, and they are all handmade. It is the minimum time we need to process the orders, given it is first come-first served. If you are comparing the prices and quality with Amazon or Sweets imported from India, it is not a fair comparison. I am sorry you feel this way and found it a reason to give us a 4-star review. Anyway. Thanks again.

First of all, our apologies for the less than adequate experience.
Unfortunately, we don't have much say on delivery partners' policies and processes. For the parcels going out of NL, we ship them during the beginning or mid of the week to avoid weekend delays. When we shipped your parcel, the delivery date was 21st and if for some reason the office was closed or they can't deliver,, they take it to the pickup point. We can't control it because none of the delivery companies call the recipient in such cases.
On the tracking updates, we can see that you requested to deliver it to a point.
We normally request our clients to let us know in advance if the delivery is for a special occasion, so that we can process it accordingly. As your order didn't have any special instructions for the date, we had no way to know it is for a specific date. My apologies again for the less than ideal experience.

Taste of home
The sweets the snacks the food takes me back home. I was especially surprised to find Ghevar! Placed an order to take special treat for colleagues and they were all over it. Most popular among them are the pistachio barfi and dal kachori. :) who'd have thought! :)
