big scam group..

big scam group... I am a merchant and they are still holding my payment for over a month now, and they have no clue what they are doing. Told me my account is under review after payment was cleared as not fraud, still they hold the money and claim to make reviews and won't reply mails.

Unaccountable and slow

They don't explain their figures or how they reached them.
BPO Collections is controlled by Prospect Financial Europe Ehf, a parent company that is based in Iceland. The parent company has no significant online presence.
They show no proof of who they are acting on behalf of.

This company is beyond incompetent

This company is beyond incompetent. For 3 months they have been told by the tour company To return this payment. They have apparently refunded it into a wrong bank account. This company is fraudulently keeping money from the scam they are running. Do not use this company you will lose your money.

Avoid paying through DPO systems at all costs, avoid

If you happen to notice an online store is using DPO as the card payment processor, you better stop and consider whether you can buy elsewhere or if you can pay in another way.

This company is only good if your order or your payment doesn't have a problem. If your order happens to need a refund/reversal this company will cause you unnecessary pain and trouble.

Their system that will cause your refund to get lost somewhere in the banking system and it may take them up to 18 days to get it back to your account and during those days of waiting, they will not consider refunding you in an alternative way.

Unless you're persistent in pursuing your refund, they will get to some point and give up trying, and being at loss on what to do, they will pass the responsibility of solving this problem to you and tell you, to go solve that problem yourself with banks - a problem their faulty system created, they now pass it to you.

A refund that was supposed to be processed within 72 hrs, took them 18 days to refund. Had I not been persistent with following up, it would have taken them even more days, may be 30 days.

I moved from one online store to avoid DPO only to find them in another online store and guess what, they bit me again. All my fears and doubts about this company have now been confirmed and I have learnt my lesson. I will never shop in any online store using DPO as the payment processor.

In the last one year, about half a dozen vendors have processed my refunds without any issue. All refunds were smooth and were done within specified time and never needed a follow up. Just as you expect them to be.

DPO maintains a system that is just a pain to work with if you're a customer, it doesn't work properly with banking systems and it adds friction to buying processes that make you never want to buy from your favorite online vendor again.

Why buy something if at the end of the day you will start sending follow up emails, dealing with 4 - 5 people in payment processing companies and banks and waste up to 18 days trying to get your issue resolved. You just wanted to buy your whatever you wanted and go on with your life, not all this trouble and complications.

This company cannot process refunds smoothly without making customers do unnecessary follow ups.

Avoid paying through DPO systems, avoid.
