Therapist lied about their service
Absolutely disgusting actions taken by therapist. I advised that confusing developments about my sexuality were causing me severe depression and suicidal ideation. The therapist simply said that Dr Julian doesn't offer support to LGBT+ issues or psychosexual therapiea and that I need to go elsewhere.
It literally says on their website that they do offer this support.
Good for the therapist for basically confirming all the negative thoughts about myself and my low self worth by pushing me away without any help.

Where do I even begin? Krishan has been absolutely fantastic! I just had my last session which was quite emotional for me but with the help and guidance of Krishan I feel like I will be able to manage with things that would normally have triggered my anxiety.
I went into those sessions expecting some sort of cure but came out accepting that I have anxiety and probably always will. It’s all about how you manage yourself and take on board the strategies offered to you.

I've joined Dr Julian app services through my GP referral, which was at a particularly low point in my life when I was struggling to cope with personal family matters, money worries and health issues to the point of feeling panic, anxiety, depressed and unable to sleep or function properly with the smallest daily issues. I was at a breaking point of my life. Then the Dr Julian app therapist came along - which actually, once you pass the initial assessment criteria, the system releases a list of professionals therapists and based on their background and qualifications you choose yours - there's even a picture of the professionals available for you to pic yours from. I know I would have never been able to cope and to move on with my life at that desperate point i was in, without the professional support received from my therapist Kathy Elson, from day one. Each weekly session, I was eager to find out how she would cope with my ups and downs struggles and at the end of each session she proved she was listening and understood exactly what i was going through. I felt respected and important to her. We were even able to work on some aspects of my life which were connected to current issues and enabled me to understand and move on from. I'm terribly grateful for the sessions and the opportunity to have had such a caring and prepared therapist who gave me the strength - which i didn't even know i had - to carry on and who impacted my life in such a positive
way, which will be with me forever. This amazing experience empowered me and raised my low self-esteem immensely too. I will never forget what I have learnt from her and she will be in a special place in my heart forever. I was struggling with a Situational…
I was struggling with a Situational depression and anxiety, I've just had around 3 months therapy with James who was thorough and made sense of my depression and has given me the tools to keep improving mentally, James made sense of alot of my condition and I would recommend the service.
Great experience
My therapist Krish was absolutely amazing. He helped me through a trauma, he listened, we came up with a plan together and he always made me feel comfortable!
Dealing with anxiety, found my way to improved.
I came to this programme to improve a specific behaviour caused by my anxiety. I started working with Lisanne Davie. She suggested different exercises to work on my specific problem during the weeks we worked together.
However, not being able to reduce my behaviour with the suggested exercises during those weeks frustrated me, increased my anxiety and made me feel terribly guilty about not achieving any improvement.
Luckily for me, Lisanne was listening and paying attention all the time and suggested that I look at the problem from a different angle.
She gave me information and other exercises to work on this new way. Over the next few weeks I began to see results. Most importantly, she gave me a new approach to my anxiety that was more suited to my problems and my personality.
Of course my anxiety won't be solved in 2 months, but with Lisanne's help I saw the path I need to walk to better manage my levels of anxiety and avoid it unfolding into a daily problem that affects my life.
I am extremely grateful for her help, knowledge and patience. Absolutely grateful for the service provided by Dr Julian and Time to Talk.

I had the best experience, my therapist Karen really helped me to realise a lot of about myself & the things that I need & want in my life.
I was very depressed at the start of my therapy journey, there were some painful truths that I needed to hear to get me to where I am today, I can not thank Karen enough, the effort she put into getting to know me and to see what I needed to change in a short amount of time was truly amazing, I felt for the first time in a while that someone actually cares about.

I’ve had a very positive experience working with my therapist, Anne. From the outset, Anne’s empathetic approach created a space where I felt heard and understood. Her ability to listen intently and pick up on nuances I hadn’t noticed myself was remarkable. Throughout our sessions, Anne consistently met me with empathy, providing a safe environment to express my feelings.
I began therapy during a challenging period in my life, and Anne was the ideal person to guide me through it. Trauma & OCD counselling
I have been suffering for a few years with anxiety, depression and OCD following the loss of my twins a few years ago. I tried lots of other therapies but with no success.
Working with Dr. Shuwana helped me understand and identify the items / problems that troubled me. There have been massive improvements in my daily home and work life and finally I can move on with my life.

I had severe depression and anxiety for a long time and felt helpless. Christina really helped me, I can't thank her enough. Within 11 sessions my behavior, emotional, mental health changed for the better and I am feeling much better. She sent me a lot of resources so I can continue my healing journey.

I highly recommend Dr Julian I was fortunate enough to work with an excellent highly specialist therapist Gareth Muir, who helped me cope with my anxiety, develop coping strategies and better understand the brain’s cognitive process.
Gareth is a master in understanding human thoughts and disproving negative emotions and working with proven strategies to challenge the core beliefs and remove hypothetical thoughts.

CBT with Krishan Mistry
I had a course of sessions of CBT via the NHS with Krishan Mistry after a particularly difficult few years post-pandemic.
I deliberately chose to work with him because we share British-Indian origins and I assumed I would be better able to relate to and be understood by someone with a shared experience and I was right.
Krish was a stellar therapist with a professional, amicable manner which allowed me to relax but he used his skill to really help me delve into the underlying causes of my issues.
Over the course of our sessions I developed a toolkit to be able to recognise and deal with long-standing problematic thought patterns and challenge my own ingrained assumptions.
The therapy has been nothing short of life-changing.

My therapist Lauren Bate was so amazing, I honestly felt comfortable and ease to talk to her about anything I had on my mind. She is patient, kind, great listener and understanding, she drew me out and helped me come to my own decisions. I loved our sessions every week, I suffer from social anxiety and she gave me a really great advice and suggestions how to to handle social situations and even did some real life situations that went very well. I cannot thank Lauren enough for her help and expertise and she has also given me advice to keep moving forward. I m very grateful I had chosen her.
