Poor communication, but excellent service recovery

I ordered prescription medication on Monday. By Friday evening, the parcel still hadn’t been collected by Royal Mail despite being marked as “ready for dispatch” on Thursday. For medication I actually needed, this was extremely frustrating - especially facing a weekend delay.
I wrote a strongly-worded complaint explaining that nearly two weeks to receive prescription medication was completely unacceptable for a medical service. The whole point of an online pharmacy is supposed to be convenience and speed.
However, I need to give credit where it’s due. Their Administration Manager, Terri, responded promptly and professionally. She explained there had been an unexpected delay in the pharmacy receiving stock (which was the actual problem - not dispatch delays as I’d assumed from the tracking). She apologised for not informing me of this delay, confirmed my medicine was on its way, and issued a full refund as an apology.
This is how customer service should work. Yes, the initial situation was poor - medication delays are serious, and customers should be informed when there are stock issues. But when things go wrong, owning the mistake and making it right matters more than never making mistakes at all.
The refund was completely unexpected and shows they take complaints seriously. I’ll definitely use the service again, though I hope their stock management and customer communication improves so others don’t go through the same stress I did.
Rating: 4/5 - Lost a star for the initial problem and lack of communication, but gained respect for how they handled it.

Unlikely to order again.

Quick delivery. However - my tablets arrived in a box that was already open.
I ordered medication of 14 tablets. This came in a box that was labelled "8 capsules" which had the sheet of 8, and random pieces of 2 and 4 tablets taken from another box.

Yes I received the medication. But I shouldn't be sold open medication.

If you can't do a pack of 14, don't let me buy that. I would have bought 16 i.e. Two boxes.

Brilliant

Fast, efficient and always reliable, what more you could ask for, can't fault them in any way. I have now placed two orders with this company and on both occasions, always arrived next day and well packaged.
