Nice shop with slightly low communication

In general all was fine with my order. I ordered on the 6th of December with Fedex fast delivery in two workdays from UK to Germany. But my order was splitted in two packages one delivered via Amazon (!) after 4 Workdays. The second package was delivered via Hermes a couple of days later on the 18th.
But i got a full refund of the fast delivery.
On the Discord channel i also got in touch with a useful community manager (?) who told me that there where problems with Fedex shortly after i ordered. It would be nice if i hadn't to join the Discord to get more information what happened.
Nevertheless i got all i ordered in perfect shape and with no additional cost on customs or taxes.

In summary: If you want an Ayaneo device (...) in europe this is the shop to go!

All good except shipping.

Customer service was nice, product itself seems to be working great.

The only issue I have is with shipping. It was quick, quicker than advertised, I chose the free option. Alternative was something premium with 50€ price tag. Nothing normal in between.

The problem came with receiving the package. It was a huge cardboard box, rattling and all banged up. No "fragile" sticker on it.

It was so bad I made pictures asap just to be sure.

After opening it there it was, 1500€ worth of hardware in its original packaging which had corners all broken and damaged. Nothing secured it in the bigger box, it was just flying around in it.

I recorded the unboxing and fortunately on the laptop itself there was just a small scratch and dent in chassis.

Fired it up and it worked just fine. Been using it for a month now and all seems to be okay.

Original packaging itself went to trash as it went apart just from unboxing.

So imagine looking forward to a product since few months prior, saving up money for it and receiving it in a damaged box. Not nice. Fortunately, it works fine. Hopefully they will change shipping partners or at least ship it out more safely. If there's a next time.

If droix sees this and want proof they can contact me on the email I bought it with.

Good experience, just some problem of accessibility

My experience was good, the shipment and the delivery was much faster than I could immagine, so I am very happy for that. I had just some small problems of accessibility because being blind, sometimes the website makes some problem to make a selection with the screenreader.

A good experience altogether

Excellent Device, Great Service from DroiX (Perfect for Linux)

I bought the GPD Win Max 2 (2025) with the Ryzen AI 9 HX370, 32GB RAM, and 2TB NVMe at an 8% discount. I opted for the additional FedEx Insured shipping; while FedEx had a customs delay and it arrived in about 9 days instead of the expected 4, it arrived safely to my home in Spain.

The device itself is almost perfect. The charger was packed outside the main GPD box (but inside the sealed shipping bag) and had a small scratch on top, but both the device and charger work perfectly. For Windows users, be aware there is a known driver issue with the stock Windows 11 install where the battery isn't detected, though the GPD task workaround fixes this.

However, I am an Arch Linux user, so I wiped Windows and installed Arch with KDE Plasma. It works perfectly! I really love this form factor - it works as a smaller laptop and a handheld with a big screen that is very comfortable to use while resting on my stomach.

After using it for a week, I have no complaints with DroiX. 5 Stars.

Great laptop, great service

The laptop was sent promptly, safely packaged and with a good shipper that informed me well in advance when it would arrive and kept the time. The laptop itself is amazing (GPD Win max 2), both on Windows and on Ubuntu Linux.

Awful after-sales experience

My experience with this store has been very disappointing.

Since I decided to return my order, problems started immediately. I had to cover the shipping costs myself to send the package back for a refund. I exercised my right of withdrawal within 14 days as provided by EU law, but I was not refunded the full amount I paid: they withheld the VAT, even though EU regulations clearly require a full refund. Customer service replied that they “cannot” refund VAT due to internal reasons, leaving me with a partial refund.

A trustworthy company should respect consumer rights, not pass its internal issues onto the customer. I will not buy from them again and I strongly advise others to avoid this site.

Amazing support, GPD Win Max 2 2025

I recently bought a GPD Win Max 2 2025. Once it came i wanted to try it with an external gpu and after searching the internet instead of asking support, i stupidly "updated" the bios to an older version bricking my laptop. After i bricked my laptop i tried to open it and fix it myself with the assistance of support staff member Jack (discord name). After a few failed attempts i updated him on the situation and he was kind enough to RMA my laptop at no cost, all i had to pay was the transport... after opening it and desoldering the bios chip THEY STILL WARRANTIED IT! They also sent a screen protector for free. I've never seen a company do that... usually warranty is void if you unscrew half a screw. I bought this laptop because of all the good reviews and good support reviews.
They not only live up to them but go above and beyond!
The laptop has been performing awesomely, paired with a 7900xtx it is a beast and it is now my main driver for games and work. I opted for the sim slot which came with a second back cover, and i basically have unlimited internet (amazing feature). on it. The whole thing, laptop and support is a 10/10 experience!
