First of all, the technician, Mo who attended and installed a dashcam was knowledgeable and done a good job, so no issues here. However, I found the admin staff working at the office unprofessional and unaccountable.
My old dashcam broke recently and required replacement. I called DTec and explained that my existing dashcam wasn’t working and I bought a new one for replacement. I even sent the pictures of existing dashcam wiring in my car. They quoted me £130 for the job and we book an appointment.
When the technician arrived and saw the existing camera in my car he informed me that there would be extra charge for removing it. He spoke with the office and they sent me another invoice for £65. I called them few times to try to speak but no one answered, they just texted me stating that I informed them that the existing camera was already removed which wasn’t true.
The additional invoice was eventually cancelled as technician used most of the cables already installed from the existing dashcam. However I found all this experience quite unpleasant.

Darryl was extremely professional and the standard of his work is first class. The dash cam and cctv provided is quality and looks excellent.

Engineer was on time professional and finished the installation with a clean finish

Great service start to finish. Provided a detailed consultation before installation. Payment was straight forward, great communication through out. Arrived on time on the day of installation, job was clean and conduct of staff was professional. Team on the day actually had everything complete faster than anticipated, have already referred DTec onto friends. Great work ethic.

Darryl did a great job of installing a Rexing dash cam. He explained what he was doing and spent some time running me through the setup after it was all complete.
