Customer Service, DO BETTER!!!

I placed an order for three pairs of sneakers on December 8, 2025. The first two pairs were delivered on December 10 and December 11, but I have yet to receive the last pair as of December 16. Customer service has been a nightmare. The automated chat does not connect you to a live agent, and when you call the 800 number, they never let the phone ring during a callback. This ensures the call is logged as them calling back, but it leaves you waiting without getting the help you need. I have already spent over 20 minutes on hold, despite being told the estimated wait time was only 9 minutes, only for them to hang up on me.

This is my second attempt at trying to reach a live person on the phone. What truly frustrates me is that my order status shows it is pending as partial, yet I received an email requesting pictures of all the products, packing slips, and original boxes. Why should I have to do all of this additional work when my order clearly shows that the last pair hasn’t even shipped? I will not place another order online with DTLR again.

We went into the DTLR in clinton md and our sale person Javon was amazing he did not have the shoe I wanted but he went above and beyond to try to fine the shoes I wanted and to get to checkout and Lisa still sent us out with amazing customer service thank you DTLR it was a great experience

UPDATE: SHOES GOT DELIVERED, FEDEX AND USPS miscommunication!

i ordered a shoe on OCT 29 2025 and i Paid for shipping, DTLR use fedex smartpost. Waited 1 month and item didnt move, contacted usps and said Fedex didnt have update the shipping so i contacted fedex and told me they dont have the label for usps to pick up and deliver to me. Fedex told me they still have the shoes but i have to contact DTLR, so i contacted dtlr but they keep saying its lost.i got my refund but i rather have the shoe.

Don’t order from here

Don’t order from here. A colossal mix up on my order. On more than one occasion. Seems intentional to steal from lazy customers. Takes forever to get a refund, IF you get one at all. You’ve been warned.

I would give this store a zero if I could. The customer service is horrible, the staff is unfriendly and dishonest! They will refuse to give you a refund even when they are at fault! They would rather force you to take a merchandise credit! How dare you choose the way someone spend their money. I will never go to this location again and possibly no other. I’m very unhappy with this retailer(for sure Sunday location in St. Paul, MN).

First, I wish you could leave a no star review.
I am completely dissatisfied with DTLR’s return policies. I was told to pay a pair of shoes off and I would be able to come into the store for a full refund. I did as instructed when I arrive at the store to do a refund. They tell me they can only give me store credit. There’s a disconnect between DTLR stores and corporate policy. I was sold a pair of shoes. They put the shoes into a different box and would not return it because they said it’s not the original box. I ordered my son one pair of navy blue and white dunks to match his navy blue uniform but the box says black and white dunks. This is the same box that I picked the shoes up in. I don’t know how I’m going to use the store credit. I do not want to buy anything else from DTLR. I will stick with the normal suppliers such as champs, foot action save your money. Don’t waste your time.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Sent my 11 year old for basketball shoes I had to work. Her dad ran her up to DTLR. He does not know her size so they measured her, they bought shoes and came home. Soon as I seen them I knew something was wrong. They are three sizes to small and used. Definitely wore prior. No one in my house can fit these shoes to wear them. Went in to exchange, they refused to exchange because not in original condition. Which I agree they are not original condition, someone wore these shoes. They are original from when purchased. I literally need to wash them just to donate. We never wore these shoes. What I can not wrap my head around is after measuring why size 6 1/2. She wears 9. Almost feels intentional. No way measured and came up with 6 1/2.

Ordered a 120$ pair of shoes , only to finally get them they are 2 right shoes.. asked could i return to store , they said they can’t take back defected shoes in store, but the shoes are not defected they just two right shoes, now I have to wait to ship them back 😂😂 you can’t make this up .. I ordered 4 pair of shoes

I ordered 4 pair of shoes, but only received 3 out of the 4. I have been calling, and have been hung up on repeatedly, after waiting 20 mins. I also emailed them, only to be told, that they've delivered my package, and they are not responsible for stolen or damaged items. The problem is that the missing shoe was never packaged or delivered. I want the shoe, or my money back for the shoe. At this point, the company has my money and the shoe.

If I could make this a 0 I would, I ordered shoes from these people just for them to send it to a completely different City and I called them 3 separate time and waited 20 minutes each call just to be hung up on each time , I will never Do Business with this company again and I’m going to advise other people not to either extremely poor customer service .

Don’t buy from this stores

This store is thieves I bought a backpack the backpack never arrived they sent me an email that my item had arrived I called FedEx they told me that the store printed the shipping label but they never sent the item now the dtlr store wants me to make a police report for something that I never received.
