Bought a fan from them sometime ago for almost 100 eur, when there is also great reputable fans at the same price range, i choose Duux because of their ultra silent fans.
I received it and it started making a knocking noise when rotating not more than 30 mins later than it arrived, eventually went away and came back for a couple minutes a few days ago. This has been reported to happen in a lot of them through other reviews. They say it could be a defective unit but this is way too uncertain. It is a great fan nonetheless but i don't trust their quality at all after this.
Custom service isn't great either, very vague responses, if you are going to buy any Duux product buy from Amazon to avoid having problems.
I wouldn't buy again, i love the design and functions of the fans, being a luxury company there shouldn't be any issues with quality control but there is.

This is a very bad company. They told me that they don't offer repair services of products outside of warranty even if there's a fee. So basically they mislead all their clients to buy they so called luxury products when there's no decent after sales services. All their products are disposable after 2 years. If something happened with the product they won't help you fix it. You just have to throw away the appliance. This is not sustainable at all and they fooled thousands of people in buying something that is actually cheap. As a company they are legally obliged to provide all relevant information on their website especially about after sales services. If no service will be done after 2 years they must inform customers so we know we are buying a disposition product.
Bought a Duux smart heater I grey. What an absolute waste of money and complete joke of a company. Half of the heating elements blow out cold air after only two months. The ‘smart’ element is far from smart as the app rarely connects to the heater. You either have to reconnect it to your wifi each and every time or log back into your account via a code that they sent to your email that half the time never arrives. Biggest con going - DO NOT buy anything from this company. We will be taking this awful thing back to Argos

I feel conned by the advertisement. The app does not work. On the very odd occasion that it does it logs out within minutes and you have to go through the whole process again. My reason for choosing this particular heater was because of the control you could have via the app. In my view Duux have falsely advertised this product. They keep saying it will be rectified next week. I bought it in November and it is still not working. I have tried to speak to someone from the company in the UK but to no avail. Absolute rubbish product and company. Do not buy

I left this review of their app on playstore.
Absolute trash app. I use it for the heater threesixty. It disconnect often and now even connected the buttons to set the temperature on the right side is gone. You can only turn on and off with this app now, and the temperature is forever now set at 18. Worse is you can't control the temperature either on the device itself because they designed it to rely on this app but this app doesn't even work! Do not buy any of their product that relies on this dumb app. You have been warned.
I have used the product for about a year now.

Nice heaters, rendered nothing but paperweights by awful app.
Yet another company that insists on cloud control of devices and offers ZERO method of controlling the heater without cloud connectivity. Meaning when their servers and their app don't work properly, which they dont, then your heater is useless.

360 heater works fine, but forget about all the smart features which you paid for.
- slow response to commands;
- app randomly logs you out;
- login randomly takes forever;
- app was unavailable for weeks;
- ...
Edit as of March '25: the above issues are (partly) solved, all the products are still advertised as 'working with Alexa', but support confirmed integration is not working (skill not even available).

Bought two products in recent weeks, seem to do the job but the APP to support them is absolutely terrible. Must have trusted it to a primary school project, the worst I have experienced

The heaters are good: powerful and quiet. But they are worthless because you can only control them via the app, which doesn’t work. The issue is Duux’s servers that connect the devices to the app and to Alexa / Google. Duux hasn’t invested in capacity and bandwidth. So the heaters are just decorative objects
Purchased Duux Edge 2000 and Duux 360 heaters and a Duux Bora Dehumidifier specifically for their "smart" functionality. Had bought a couple of Duux Edge 2000 heaters at the start of last year and they worked well enough. No real issues with the app or the heaters. So felt confident enough buying additional products this winter.
What a difference a year makes!
These products are marketed as "smart" products. There is literally a picture of the smartphone app on the product pages. But the "smart" side of the product simply does not work.
The app is basically useless and has not worked as advertised for several months. It randomly logs out and you cannot log back in. The log in page just times out mostly, or the required log-in code takes ages to arrive by email and when the email does arrive, the code is not recognised and you're back to square one. I have found the only way to log in to the Duux app is to do so at 8 o'clock in the morning when I suspect no one is using the app. Once logged in the app may or may not find connected devices, when it does find the devices, it may or may not allow you to control the devices. It generally will not allow you to set schedules and it will absolutely never show the correct temperature, humidity or device on/off status. By evening time the app will be 100% broken.
That's just the native app. Alexa and Google integration? Don't even bother trying.
The hardware itself may be functional (there are cheaper and better hardware only heaters to be had) but I didn't buy just hardware. I bought a smart heater. If I wanted a hardware only heater, I'd light a fire.
I understand sometimes software releases don't always go as as planned. There will be bugs. But if you release an app to customers that effectively breaks the marketed smart functionality of your smart product and after several months still cannot fix it. Maybe you should stop advertising the products as "smart". Maybe "smart" isn't your thing.
As many others have stated, the heater itself is very good, however the App is very very bad. Half the time I cannot log in, despite setting up an account, and other times the app doesn't show devices previously paired with it. For a heater than really does rely on a functioning App to control it, this is killing my user experience and I'll probably return the fan for a refund.
Updated 19/03/2024....... Duux have improved and updated the user app, and everything is now so much better! I'm glad I didn't return the heater for a refund and have improved the rating from 2 stars to 4.

I have two Duux Threesixty heaters and although I have no issues whatsoever with them, they are now just ornamental items in my rooms as I can’t control them without the app.
I’m am now unable to sign into the app, being told every time the code is sent that it is “no longer valid”, even though it is the latest one and that’s if I’m lucky to get a code sent through!
Because I have no access to the app, the heaters can no longer be controlled.
They don’t even come on when they’re supposed to and when they do, they’re set at the lowest temperature as I can’t adjust it.
Duux, please, please, please work on perfecting the app as I will no longer recommending you products to anyone until you have done so.

For weeks I have not been able to logon to the app. The app is poor quality.
I bought a product that is supposed to be wifi control, but not possible due to logo. Issues.

If you want an overpriced, louder than advertised, """smart""" space heater then the threesixty is for you! The basic functions (3 temperature settings) work, but thats about all that works. Here's a quick list of everything that doesn't work:
- App login rarely works
- App consistently logs you out
- 95% of the time threesixty shows as offline in the app
- Threesixty does not stay in the app and needs to be readded multiple times daily, however you need to logout then back in which it rarely lets me.
- Temperature readings dont work and just shows blank reading where it should be
- Thermostatic control doesn't work (if you scroll up to 21c it will turn on and then never turn off)
- Scheduling doesn't work at all
- Google home integration doesn't work at all (always shows offline)
- Alexa integration doesn't work at all (alexa replies saying the device is not responding.)
I queried this with their support, as I was hoping it'd be a temporary issue, (however I should've checked the app's reviews beforehand as these issues have been happening for months) their support rep told me that their would be an update early this week.
I enquired again today and it turns out they neglected to mention that the update has been pushed back to late next week, If I wait again until next week I'd be past the 14 day return period (pretty convenient for Duux right?) so I'll be returning it as soon as I can.
Overall a pretty terrible experience, in its current state the heater is worse than a basic space heater I could get for £20 because even those have thermostatic control. Utter waste of time.
Also a direct quote from their FAQ:
"You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged when they are returned to us. Using the goods before returning them within the allotted 14-day period does not constitute taking reasonable care of them. If you use the goods before returning them to us, you will be responsible for the costs of us reconditioning those goods."
If they attempt to charge me for using the heater I will chargeback the full amount regardless.
Smart heater...pointless when the functionality of the app doesn't work. Such an unstable app, don't depend on temperature control or smart home connectivity.

Fan is fine…however the app is nothing short of horrendous. Constantly buggy, have to redo the setup multiple times a day, logs you out, then forgets the device, wait ages for login codes, takes ages to connect to WiFi. Even when it’s linked to the app there is a delay between pressing the button and the fan responding. Been wait for it it connect to WiFi for over 30mins this evening. Have contact service @duux.com and got redirected UK support who say there has been some issues with the app recently with fixes expected very soon…judging by the reviews on the App Store there have been issues for for a year so unlikely that they are actually planning to fix it. Amounts to false advertising if a product is this unuseable .

I bought a heater and it arrived damaged with the security seal broken.
Also, I bought a whisper flex smart portable fan which seemed in mint condition.
When I opened the box to make the fan.
I was shocked to discover the battery was missing.
I've now been informed that no battery comes with the fan.
You can order a battery for £60, but bare in mind the fan cost £152.
What sort of quality control is going on with this company.
Your products sell for hundreds of pounds.
I feel ripped off by this firm.
I’ve increased the rating from 1 star to 3 stars because the receptionist was very polite.
Also thank you to Jack & Simon who have replied very quickly to my emails.
I have a Duux Edge 2000 Heater and it works very nice. Along with the quality of product, the customer support of Duux is really nice. They respond on your queries fast. I had some technical problem with the heater, I contacted support and got my heater replaced with a new one within a week time period. Thanks Duux support.
Heater wont respond to app or google at all. Terrible product. Not worth the price.
Complete scam its just a cheap fan heater no alexa or Google don't waste your time or money on this useless piece of junk.
I got my money back buy a cheap fan heater dont fall for the flashing led trick how stupid do they think we are.
