It’s time Move away from eBay

I’m really disappointed. In 7 years I’ve seen a lot. I am a 100% feedback buyer and seller. Things are getting worse and worse. Bought an IPad Pro 11” paid about 220€ , was said in good condition, after 4 months the battery was dead and I couldn’t ask anything and no warranty. So I bought a battery and let it repair for another 60€ . Total 90€ more. In all this, no warranty by anyone. After 1 week, got broken the display. Tired I decided to sell it on eBay as defect but same and was bought for 30€ to send it back if in opinion doesn’t correspond to what written. This after they remove what they need and resend it back refunded. Another iPad Pro bought there, same problem, changed battery but after couple weeks stopped working. Sold in eBay for 25€ and now the buyer want I accept back refund him because he says the iPad is open a bit and smells like battery destroyed. I sold it as defect and the only thing you hear is a bip like the one switch on but not working the display, I don’t know. He confessed is a technician and eBay gave him the chance to block my founds due his request to send it back and he added as proof the pictures I USED ON THE AUCTION

Yumara13 Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
Extremely negative experience with the seller Yumara13. I will never buy from them again and do not recommend them to anyone.
After payment, it turned out that the final cost was significantly higher due to additional fees and import/customs charges that were not clearly disclosed in advance. This feels misleading and unfair.
The most frustrating part is the lack of proper customer support. Responses are generic and do not resolve the issue. Returns are either not accepted or made so complicated that they are practically pointless.
With this kind of customer service, the high rating is questionable. Buying here means risking paying more than expected and not having proper protection as a buyer.
Strongly not recommended. Better choose another seller and save your time, money, and nerves.

The worst site you can shop at

The worst site you can shop at. They let chinese sellers in that fake their location so that it looks like they’re from Germany. Then when their cheap stuff breaks they totally ghost you, never answering any questions, total silence. They leave no guarantees. Ebay apparently thinks this is ok because they ”can’t do anything”. Great policy. Avoid ebay and chinese sellers. This one in particular is called bestproduct998. Let me assure you, there is nothing ”best” about their products.

Ebay removes negative and neutral customer reviews - bw-shop-nrw-de - DE 247710785

The big problem with this organization is that it removes both negative and neutral customer reviews. As a result, sellers who cheat are encouraged and do so more and more. I contacted support several times (which is also very difficult) and they most irresponsibly explained to me that I did nothing wrong, but ... they will not restore my review. I hope that Ebay managers are locked in a room without food and eat themselves for edification::((( bw-shop-nrw-de - DE 247710785

COMPLETLY FALSE ADVERTISING WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN UK

I ordered some curtains through EBay from a seller called oodle .
The curtains were advertised as having thick Thermal linings which is completely untrue and false advertising.
They are very lightweight nowhere on the packaging does it say they have Thermal linings so that is a lie.
I contacted them not long after they were delivered .While I like the design and colour of the curtains one of the main reasons I was drawn to them was because they are advertised as Thermal . I have contacted them twice now and they just ignored me .

I ordered perfume for a girl's birthday. The order arrived two days later, in a beautiful package, and included some nice samples. It's these small details that keep me coming back to them over and over again. Great online shopping experience!

Received email rejection, supplied ABN and Business certificate, received 3 more emails needing ABN resent both each time - MARY & ANUP. Contacted support over 7 times within 3 weeks, no follow up, no emails, flagged with "Leadership team" 4 times. Still nothing. Whilst paying for EBAY LINK (They are great but EBAY IS HOPELESS). Ebays Customer Service

Someone needs to tell another person at Ebay all about customer service because they don't list a number or even try and make it easy to find. I literally had to use ChatGPT to find a number and this will be day 3 of "receiving a call back" from the non-existent customer service department. I hate everything about Ebay from the ridiculous fees for selling your stuff to attempting to get paid, they are the most terrible company ever. I say we should boycott the shit out of Ebay until their ridiculous policies change. I've already took my things down, I just want my money now is all. Sincerely, concerned citizen!

Shambles of an outfit

Buyer protection is worthless. If you report a seller for mis describing products they do nothing, why because the scumbags make to much money out of them. Ebay used to be good but not any more.
Most of the representatives are foreign and difficult to understand.
This outfit has really gone to the dogs.

Buyer Protection is worthless — seller doesn't reply, eBay still denies the case

I ordered two items from a seller on eBay.de in January 2026. The items never arrived. I contacted the seller multiple times - no response at all. After waiting, I opened an "Item Not Received" case and escalated it to eBay.

eBay's decision? Denied. Their reason: the seller provided a tracking number that shows "delivered." That's it.
No investigation into whether I actually received the package, no consideration that the seller completely ignored my messages.

So to summarize how eBay Käuferschutz works: a seller can ship to the wrong address or have a package go missing,
ignore all buyer communication, and eBay will still side with them as long as there's a tracking number in the
system. The "buyer protection" protects no one except the seller.

I'm now taking this to PayPal's dispute resolution, which I shouldn't have to do if eBay's system actually
worked.

eBay’s Global Shipping Program is organized pickpocketing

eBay’s Global Shipping Program is a masterclass in charging premium prices for museum-grade speed. By the late nineteenth century, steamship mail from New York to Europe could cross in roughly 15 days, and by the early twentieth century average voyages were about 8 days. eBay delivery meanwhile takes at least 20 up to 30 business days. Victorian-era transport moved faster, and probably with more dignity. Paying inflated shipping charges for a parcel that wanders around aimlessly like a lost soul is absurd. This program feels less like logistics than organized pickpocketing. eBay is effectively stealing from buyers through this program. Horrible platform which will eventually go bust through its own ridiculous greed.

eBay is bad do not use

At this point, I am actually confused on whether I’m still in reality or not. I’ve had eBay since 2020. I really used it. Maybe he bought a few things I wasn’t getting much traction on something I was trying to sell local so I figured I’d give it a shot. Immediately. Things started to transpire in my worst case scenario fear gentleman got the item a few hours later he tried to return the item saying it was damaged because he causes damage to it, and we tried to switch out the Jersey swap it was an autograph of Jersey. From that point I called eBay from 13 February until today and I spent a few hours each day on the phone with them. The one thing that’s been consistent with their team is nobody is on the same page. I’ve gotten promises for Management from leadership being informed that this was an agent error. The gentleman was never supposed to be able to dispute the file they got sent finally to manual corrections today they corrected it finally once they did that the same moment they decided to suspend my account and I can’t get the funds it’s $109 which seems a little bit ridiculous. Nobody has an answer for me. Why this whole time from 13 February to today my account has not been suspended until the moment they decide that they’re gonna pay me out. I was promised by management this would be resolved, however I can never even get a manager on mine. I’ve been told by some representatives, the leadership people a manager that I spoke with prior to them, didn’t know what they were doing, and then I hear the same thing about that person on the very next call. It was informed to me again that this was an agent error that the buyer lied to eBay and they took his word for it, and then I was covered under interstellar’s protection worst experience in my life.
