Dishonest business

Terrible business. The people who run this business are rude and dishonest. We supplied them and they did not pay and then made up a few lies to try and swerve the payment. They were then rude when asked to return the products and eventually we just gave up on it. It's so rare to encounter people like this which is good, but if you can, don't give them your business.

Awful customer service / DO NOT USE

Awful customer service - paid for items as a special gift for our Sons party only to be told the main item we wanted was not in stock after we had paid, no immediate refund will have to wait for that they say... Emailed to try and gain a solution, rude arrogant response.. DO NOT USE - there are companies that provide service the same but actually care about timeline for children's parties.. Horrific experience

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They have a sale on looks like a closing down sale, as they said no items will be restocked. When items didn't show sale price they told me to pay full price and they will refund the difference, lucky I checked this site out first as one customer didn't get the refund they were promised.

Angry customer service

I had a failed delivery by DPD and difficulty with their courier service. The driver didn’t use my doorbell and instead pounded on my door. This is unacceptable behaviour and woke my newborn. The items had then been resent to my post office, I have not collected until today (as their email stated I could collect up until today and I have not been able to, given I was expecting delivery at home). I emailed sales at Edie and Eve to advise of my experience with DPD and ask for the items to be resent. I did not ask for this to be done free of cost. The idea was simply to rearrange a delivery and give feedback on the courier they have chosen to work with. I was not asking for special treatment for having a child, but just explaining my poor experience.

I have since had appalling customer service from Emily. She emailed explaining that it’s not the DPD drivers fault and that they cannot resend for free. She followed up with tracking information which I already had. Then a final email advising I should place a new order as they have further discounts. I felt her emails were unhelpful, rude and excessive in that she sent three in succession with no reply. I advised I would not be purchasing again and would like a refund. Emily was so triggered by my politely advising I would review on trustpilot (a platform for reviewing customer service experiences) that she left me an angry voicemail alluding to ‘the kind of person I am’, advising it’s not DPD’s problem or anyone else’s that I have a newborn, she has 4 children and doesn’t pull ‘crap like this’ and it’s life if they get woken up. She didn’t introduce herself, address me by name, name the company or even say so much as hello at the beginning of the voicemail, it took me a while to even understand who would feel it was appropriate to leave a voicemail like this. Emily, I am sorry you’re so angry. I understand it’s difficult when small businesses get negative reviews but sadly this is honest and you have to do better in speaking to other people and perhaps rethink before picking up the keyboard or phone and take a moment. I feel extremely concerned this company has my personal details including my address.

*update - no apology from this abusive, appalling company and I have been charged £22 for return delivery costs

Late order and no delivery refund

I placed and order online on the Wednesday due to the fact the website advertised ‘Free Next Day Delivery’ on a banner on the homepage and I needed the supplies for a party on Saturday. I almost immediately received notification from DPD stating the order would be delayed. So instead of the Thursday it was due to be delivered on the Friday, which would have been fine, but that didn’t happen. The company advised DPD told them they attempted delivery on the Friday but I couldn’t see note of this on the DPD app at all. DPD simply stated again it had been delayed. The parcel ended up being delivered half way through the party on the Saturday. I contacted the company who advised it was not their fault and their Ts&Cs state that next day delivery isn’t guaranteed. They eventually agreed to cover £5 of postage for me to send it back to them. I sent it back and they issued the refund for the full amount of the order but unfortunately the £5 towards the postage never came to fruition and I couldn’t be bothered wasting my time chasing it up.

Their Terms and Conditions state:

‘*All delivery dates that we give are only for your guidance. We will not be responsible if your order is delivered late. If there is no one to accept delivery, information enabling you to complete the delivery will be left. Despatch of goods constitutes fulfilment of contract.’

So basically once they dispatch the parcel they take absolutely no responsibility of whether it reaches you on time or not. I understand the actual delay is the fault of the courier but it perhaps it might be an idea not to advertise next day delivery on a banner on the homepage to encourage people to order when this may not be fulfilled.
