Absolutely amazing service! Faulty washing machine which was no fault of Elek direct themselves.. a replacement of my choice approved, and collection and delivery arranged for the same day! Dale was brilliant.

Bought several items for a rental property. Came exactly as described. Needed to return double oven as I’d mistakenly thought it would be ok with the existing power circuit. The item was collected quickly and refund processed immediately. Thank you Dale for your excellent assistance. Highly recommend.

EDIT: company have resolved this issue but only after them initially fobbing us off (3 times) and later only acting on this and a Google review. Regardless, it’s sorted after much to-ing and fro-ing which resulted in a swift like-for-like replacement delivered within 48 hours to f them finally accepting they made a mistake with how they initially handled things. Rating increased to 2* from 1*

Disgraceful — Sold Me a Broken Fridge and Expected Me to Cover the Cost to Repair or Return!!!

I bought a fridge freezer from AO Outlet fully aware it would have cosmetic damage. I’m not new to outlet buying. What I did expect, however, was a product that actually worked. What I received was a fridge that wouldn’t even turn on because one of the prongs was missing from the plug. Not bent. Not damaged. MISSING.

To make matters worse, I had just lost all my food due to a broken fridge during a heatwave and had a full food shop arriving that day, expecting a working appliance, as advertised. This was after going without a fridge for four days already.

I called AO Outlet ElekDirect and was met with complete indifference. Their solution? I could either pay out of my own pocket to get an electrician to fix the plug (yes, really), or return the fridge- at MY expense, losing the delivery cost and more. So I’m being charged more money for their failure to send me a working product?

How is this acceptable? They sold me a non-functional fridge and then tried to wash their hands of all responsibility. This isn’t “cosmetic damage”, this is non-functional electrical goods being passed off as “working”.

Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this company unless you enjoy wasting time, money, food, and being treated like an inconvenience when they mess up.

I buy all my appliances from here, website is easy to use and great customer service.

Dale Fletcher is an asset to the business. Emailed with a couple problems, had a reply within 10 minutes with a fix, a service you can trust and enjoy. Nothing worse then a company that doesnt believe you. So well Done AO/ElekDirect and Dale. Will definitely return for all my future appliances.
The products I received were great, both opened packaging but the original new products in them brand new. Well worth the discount for missing packaging.

Great company, ordered a tv came super quick, excellent value for money

All their appliances are cancelled orders or failed deliveries from AO.com, they are reboxed product so if you want a brand new product, you should buy from other places

Purchased a lot of different electrical items over the years from Elek Direct from white goods, TVs, mobile phones to gaming equipment always exceptional service and high-quality products. Dale has always been very helpful! Will continue to purchase top-quality products!

Ordered a £400 Samsung washing machine for £240 because there were scratches on the side. I mean it's a washing machine and who looks at the side, ha, but I'll take it.

Delivered quickly, the guys nicely dropped it off at my utility room door. Some manufacturers bits were missing but it was provided with the essentials to hook it up. Nothing necessary was missing..

Tell you want the reported scratches I can't see em, looks perfect to me and works a treat. Amazing

Poor experience

We visited the warehouse and whilst the service on the day was excellent everything since then has been a nightmare. We purchased a range oven and built out kitchen around it. The range was faulty and after an engineer visit the range was swapped by AO. However we received a different model and colour. This range was also faulty. Two engineers visits and it was agreed that they would swap.
Too many back and forths trying to find a range that was the same size as the one we had built out kitchen around. AO no longer stock the one they had sent us (I suspect it's been deemed as poor quality and too many returns). Sat in all day on a Sunday as promised replacement was arriving and it has not.
So I'm some 2000+ £ down and do not have a functioning usable oven..this has been ongoing for four months and has seen me spend five days sitting in for engineer visits and deliveries and I'm still not closer to a resolution.

I nearly didn't order from ElekDirect based on reviews saying that they'd had a poor delivery service. I'm please I did, because I received a great service today and it's saved me £40+. The delivery company gave me a 4 hr time slot and called during that time to let me know they were an hour away. They were very polite and completed the removal of my old machine very quickly. Happy with my new washing machine. Seems to be working fine and the marks/ dinks are as shown in the photos. Thanks, I would order again.

Absolutely perfect product quality and service. [Through my own stupidity the Washing Machine appeared not to work. They immediately offered a replacement or refund but fortunately I discovered my error before this happened] Delivery was when requested and on time. One slight quibble is that the delivery drivers were surly and unhelpful.

Find me a better place for all your electronic & white good needs and you'd be wrong. Excellent service and not beaten on price. kitted out my whole house. Went for a toaster, came out with everything. Delighted.

Moved house recently and needed to kit it out with everything. Elek Direct to the rescue! Fridge/freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, hood, 2 tvs and a huge saving. Thank you very much! The guys in the shop were all really helpful and I’m very grateful to my friend who recommended I try here before anywhere else. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger “I’ll be back”

Ordered a washing machine from Elek Direct and I'm so pleased with the service I received. I was recommended Elek Direct by a friend who had bought a fridge freezer with a significant discount so I gave it a go for my new washing machine. So pleased I did! Got a nice little discount and the machine is spotless, delivery men were really polite - will definitely use again in the future

Bought a new Hoover washing machine via the guys at Elek who were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Gave me a great price and also were able to arrange delivery for me. Great service, would highly recommend.

Bought a couple of integrated appliances from elek direct on the basis these are NEW products which have damaged which means they can't be sold on AO.com. What I can say is that from my experience they have sent me a used product. It works fine, but I didn't buy a used product. There is a foot from the dishwasher snapped in the machine with the broken half thrown in the box with it. There are no instructions, just the dishwasher. To be honest, that's wound me up. I emailed to receive a passive aggressive email back with no denial that this item has been used. As far as I'm concerned, I've been sold a used product which has been marketed as a new product with cosmetic damage and I'd like a manager to explain to me why that has happened. They have offered me a full refund, but given that I've spent time removing the broken foot, installing the machine using a block of wood as one foot and fitting the door, it's not really acceptable now.

To sum up, elek direct is fine if you're happy you're buying a used/returned item. That isn't what they are telling you they are selling though.
