Reliable data source until their most recent site update, now it can't even be reached, let's hope they can put their ducks in a row otherwise subscribers are going to lose lots of money

asked for support back in May as data wasnt updating despite several reminders as yet still nothing done about it I think their service is terrible this is far from first time far from being a reliable data service
Update 18/06 still no response at all you cant trust this company to offer any kind of technical support despite many requests still no reply from support avoid this company if you expect any kind of support this was asap 3rd July
Latest as at 15th July the only email I have had is to try to flog something else no response at all from support considering paying for this service this is a company to avoid as after sales is hopeless

Once again daily data files are missing or files are formatted incorrectly.

This started again on April 16 2025 and seems related to the Easter Holiday as the owner goes away and has no one looking after his computer(s) around major holidays.

This website was reliable for many years and now is useless if you depend upon reliable daily data.

My issue is that my program is written for their data format and it takes a lot of effort to download from other sites and reformat. I just have to wait and hope they post corrected files.

Wish someone would buy the site and just charge for it. I don't mind paying for good service.

I started to used Eoddata 7 years ago on and off. The company hasn't expand much on their data. If you just focusing on just those stock exchange then it's OK. But if you want more stock exchange and data then you need to find another company. The last time I used them was a few months ago.

I have used EODdata for many years. Thoughout the years there had been times where the data was not available at the specified time for my subscription, but would usually be available at some later date. However, for several days near Thanksgiving of 2024, data was not available for several business days and some of the data was never available. After sending in several requests regarding that information, I never heard a response. They do have a "support request" page that does not leave you a data trail. If you want to document your requests, you need to send them to "support" at "eoddata.com" If you use them, be sure to cancel your subscription immediately, as they have billed me for another year and i am now trying to retrieve those funds. I am seriously considering filing a fraud complaint with Illinois Attorney General if they do not refund and cancel my subscription.

I am silver-level subscriber to EODData and have been using their end-of-day downloads since 2016, without an major issues.

However, the Canadian data (TSX & TSXV) and Mutual EOD data have not been posted since 26 November 2024. I do quite a bit of investing in the Canadian market.

I have sent several support requests to EODdata without any response? Looking back through past reviews on the internet (going back to 2012) - this appears to be their modus operandi.

I am looking for a new service provider - any suggestions?

Looks like many of the data stopped updating around 26th of November, 2024. No Mutual fund data after Nov 25. Several days of NASDAQ data missing as well. No response from support.

I have been using this company for many years and without problem. More recently my experiences have been very similar to those of MichaelC. In particular end of day data for NASDAQ stopped updating. My attempts at contacting support were complertey ignored. I therefore requested that they cancel my annual renewal subsciption. Once again these requests to support and sales were ignored. The payments were set up on an annual recurring card payment system. EODdata twice attempted to take a payment from my bank (each failed). If you do decide to cancel a subscription make sure you notify your bank or cancel/renew the associated card.

I've been using EODData for over 10+ years. It's been pretty reliable and haven't had to reach out to them before.

But, I'm having the same problem as the previous reviewer. The NASDAQ EOD data stopped after 11/26/2024. There is no info on their website as to why. They don't respond to any messages.

The Global Indices data did the same but has been intermittent.

I thought I saw a review somewhere saying the owner went on vacay in a previous year during the holidays and the data disappeared.

Not very professional considering some of us make a living off trading so loss of stock data is crippling.

I have used eoddata in at least some capacity for ~10-15 years. Overall the service has been a good value for the price. However, over the past few years they have slowly lost licenses to use A LOT of data. They never notify you, it just stops appearing in your downloads and if you ask them enough they will remove it from website. This was generally for obscure stuff, but almost a week ago they stopped providing updates to nasdaq data. And not just for that, their entire US equities web daily download-er is broken- won't let you download beyond last week (even though there's at least 3 market days in between). By messing around w/settings, was able to get some of the normal equities data but all nasdaq data is missing and I can no longer download nasdaq data individually as i used to (i have purchased decades worth of historical data from them for all of US equities as well as daily updates to this data). Ok, if they drop some obscure futures exchange that only trades a handful of contracts I can understand that. But you're dropping nasdaq? With no notification that you lost your nasdaq license? Or- far worse- you're selling equities data for half the market but you can't be bothered to make sure current data is available to customers? This company is now at best a zombie company, heading towards being shut down. And there will be no notice, whatever happens. Bizarre because they have a nice little system setup that seems extremely low maintenance. They must've gotten squeezed on licensing costs so much it's no longer even worth the bother.

A week ago I bought online historical Intraday stock data from that company and paid with my card.
It sent me an email that said my data is ready and I can download it from given link. But there it just says "Building...", ie. the data is not ready yet. This now is the case for more than a week! I sent their support 3 mails, but have got no reaction yet... :-(

I just bought five years of historical NASDAQ data on 3/14/24. The 2024 data download only covers the first three days, and the 2023 data download is missing everything after 10/16/23.

I emailed sales, and the email bounced back as undeliverable.

I will see if support responds, but something is really wrong with this company for selling something so incomplete.

Pathetic Customer Support Service. Created a support ticket on their platforms as well as mail them about the errors in data after splits but no reply from them after 5 follow up emails.

very poor customer service. No data provided for 10 days without explanation or response. No tech support or response at all on intraday data subscription. Go someplace else.

I am the platinum member.

1. I always get timeout when trying to get intraday data (5 mins) for all symbols of NYSE (AMEX & NASDAQ are fine). Actually it was never success. I dunno why they dont put a link for me to download the intraday data.

2. Intraday data is just available for US exchange

3. end of day data for HK is not updated daily.

so sad.

Have used EodData.com for years as Silver member and its great for US exchanges and US MutualFunds - for daily EodClosing data only! (not the intraday or options). The daily exchange files are quite accurate and complete after 7pm, and EodData.com is always 99% available for my scheduledtask ftp retrievals of daily market closings...
Altogether for EodData it aint bad at all for the accuracy, reliability and value.

Yes, there are some minor errors in exact closing values/idiosyncrasies (usually corrected within 72hrs),
And No, I don't/wouldn't use the data for MissionCritical/BigBucks trading.
But for a personal reference, research, and record of the USMarkets that I keep in a SqlServer database for analysis - its a great value and MakesMe $$$$...

While not Perfect(give it 98%+), when used/verified with StockCharts.com & your best personal broker software(EtradePro,StreetSmartEdge,IBKR,...) its a very good resource.
More than goodnuff for identifying/verifying performance and trending.

I had no problem with the data but double-billing and over-billing was common and not always corrected meaning I overpaid them at least 300 dollars. Life's too short to mess about with people like this so I cancelled my yearly subscription and they tried to take payment anyway. Avoid like the plague.

This is the worst scam website I see. They offer you options to buy intra-day cheap 1-min stock data, but then forbid you from downloading data without upgrading to their highest membership level. I emailed them and nobody responded and who cares!! Do not trust this trash data provider. They are worth no attention

No US Futures, eurex and liffe since end of April 21. Very slow to respond I was told that they have a problem with one of the US exchanges.

They doubled billed me for platinum membership. I can't get any support from their support page or from email. They don't response at all.

I tried to get support for a technical issue as well and they never responded to that either.
