Can not cancel subscriptions on the app leading you to have to call into customer service just to cancel

9 out of 10 times my box will be delivered without issue, but recently I have been informed within 24 hours of delivery that it will be missed. One time the box went to a different house, but it was down the street. There were times in the past that the meals were NOT what I had ordered and substituted with my least favourite option they have which is any random chicken meal where the meat is a thick slab that doesn't cook through properly. Despite that, in general the food tastes far better than what is offered by other meal services I have tried in my area, the textures and spices are good, and I really appreciate their fish and shredded/ground beef options. I wish they had not moved the breakfast meals into the extras section, because that necessitates me selecting other meals that I like less in order to make my minimum number of meals. If I want the breakfasts, which I like having for lunch, I now have to order them as extras which costs more. Its too transparent of a money-making move for me to feel good about the company especially as it was a deliberate and recent change. Four stars for food quality, minus one for too many meals that are slabs of chicken, and moving the breakfasts to the extras section.

These are far better than grocery store frozen meals. In the 3 weeks there has only been one meal that was not to my taste. I'm too sick to cook and this has been a great help in getting fibre and vegetables into my diet.

Quality of food is pretty good and tasty. You should make the writing much bigger on the packages especially the type of meal that is in it.

Wish there was a Gfree menu

The product itself is good. The food is tasty, has good variety, and heats up well. The portions could be a little bigger, but they still fill you up well. The issues moreso come with Factor as a company themselves. They are harder to reach and get assistance from than you would expect, and sometimes their site just feels less premium.

Absolutely hate the sauce in another plastic cupholder.... Gotta open the lid take it out and then microwave it... Then like do I dip the sauce or do I pour it on to the food … just make it so complicated for easy food.

they sent me an order i didn't order

The meals came frozen even though they are supposed to “fresh” and ready to cook. For sure they have to be “cooled” with ice packs but all of my boxes were frozen! The meals are reviewed or approved by a registered dietician however the sodium content is way to high even for a healthy, active adult, let alone seniors or others who have blood pressure or other medical issues. So be aware of this.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH FACTOR!

In the first box of 20 meals I got, I was sent 4 meals I didn't order. Fortunately I don't have any allergies or moral/religious reasons for excluding the fish and seafood in those meals so I just sucked it up and decided to give them another chance.

The app is terrible, too. There
is no way to see what was ordered in a specific delivery week. I was away from home on holiday for two delivery days (July 8 and 15) so in the app, I opted to skip my deliveries for those two weeks. Lo and behold, when I got home there were 2 boxes on my porch - one that had completely thawed after sitting there for a week! Fortunately I got home in time to salvage the other one.

When I called customer service to complain, they said there was nothing they could do because there was nothing in my account to say that I'd skipped those two weeks. And I had no way to prove it because the app is so useless! Now I'm left with over $200 of food I didn't order, and half of it has to go directly into the garbage. Needless to say, I canceled my subscription and wrote an unhappy email to them that will probably never be read.

Meals are quality, freshness of products and good taste. Nice portions.
Delivery.

The food selection is really good. Portion control is good, and the macros for the various diet plans is good. Delivery to commercial office buildings is a bit of a problem. Would happen too late in the day and sometimes delivered to wrong address. Had to adjust by getting this delivered to my home and then bringing it in. Otherwise the service is good, and is a good choice to be able to get a decent meal that is healthy and for a decent price.

Great for me as I train and need to have some meal prep available and ready. The food is good. A lot of waste tho. (Plastic, packaging ect.)

Everything is good. Not much variety in flavors.or textures.

I live in a highrise apartment condo.My shipping instructions asked that my food"be delivered to my apartment.The access code was provided,but the food was left in the unsecured area,between the entrance doors,of the building.

Meals are well prepared.
They are tasty and savoureuse.

First order went well my meals were decent but I had ordered 12 so I skipped the second week. Lo and behold I look at my bank account I was charged for my meals I contacted there management and was offered no support even tho it was 100% there mistake they still refused any support. I’ve since cancelled my subscription and I don’t recommend dealing with factor to anybody. Look else where for premade meals. There management is useless and it’s not worth the hassle of even emailing them
